Popularity Points
Popularity Points is the value system used to determine just how well known you are in the campus halls. It operates much the same way that the Fame Point system works on Pokemon Legacy. However, here at Legacy High, much like any high school, the how you became popular part isn't nearly as important as important as simply being popular. Therefore, there is no concept of negative or positive fame, fame or infamy, simply a rating of how popular you are. The more people you know, and conversely, how many people know you, the more doors open for you.

The Popularity Points (or PP from here on out) system is entirely self-regulated, with a few exceptions. Therefore, it's important that you put on your Permanent Record (Profile) just how you got those points. Below is a simple guide to how you can increase your own popularity.

+2 points for every class you attend (accumulated once per class)
+2 points for catching a pokemon
+3 points for every Player Character you meet
+5 points for joining a club
+5 points for winning an unsanctioned pokemon battle with another Player Character
+10 points for moving up a dorm
+10 points for winning a sanctioned pokemon battle in the Gym

You can also lose PP by certain events that would cast you as unpopular.

-3 points for losing an unsanctioned pokemon battle with another Player Character
-5 points for losing a sanctioned pokemon battle in the Gym
-10 points for being demoted a dorm

Additionally, every school sanctioned event offers the chance for more PP, just for joining. In the event of a tournament, competition, or other school wide event where a winner is determined, the winner is given a healthy boost to their PP. The exact total of PP given out via school sanctioned events will be determined by the Faculty on a case-by-case basis. If, in your character interaction, something particularly embarrassing happens to your character, other players can option for you to lose PP as well, although the amount of and final decision on whether or not you do in fact lose those PP is up to the staff.

Perks to the PP system:
At 25 PP, you are elegible for running for Student Counsel.
At 50 PP, you gain access to TMs through the Student-Ran School Shop
At 75 PP, you gain a one week extention on homework assignments (NOTE: Some teachers may choose to ignore this perk. If the teacher chooses this right, they must state so at the beginning of the semester.)
At 100 PP, you gain a permanent .5 boost to your GPA.

FAQ
What do I need to put in my profile?
Your profile may contain any and all information that you like, but it MUST include your general information, basic information regarding your pokemon, a tracking of your PP (if you wish to claim the perks), your GPA, and your Dorm.

What do I need to put in my signature?
Your signature may contain anything that you like (within reason), but it MUST include a link to your profile, your APL, GPA, and Dorm.

How do I know what classes I can sign up for?
A Class List will be posted at the beginning of every semester in the Dean's Office. Each student will be required to state which classes they intend to take there. Also, if you have an awesome idea for a class and want to try being a teacher, contact an admin and we'll see where that goes!
