To say Rosalind was furious with her room assignment, was an understatement. She wanted to go to the test people and demand she be placed in the highest tier because stupid recoil damage was not something to get her ass kicked over.

However a long, lengthy conversation with her father had told her, no, you cannot do that. She was going to have to deal until the semester ended and she could move up. Whatever, it wasn't like it was all bad. For her at least. Anyone who got in her way.... that was another story.

The white haired teen sat down on a grassy patch in the partial shade of a tree in the quad, smoothing her dress out around her. Little Rhith jumped into her lap and hunkered down to observe the passersby.

Oh yes, Rosalind was going to scope out anyone she could see being good for her or bad for them. She'd done it in younger years and it worked so nicely. Maybe not for the unfortunate person at the end of her hand or boot, but, that was the causalities of war, was it not?

"Ready Rhith? Ready to scope out our posse this year?" she said softly to the little dog who barked his name and looked out.

Let the games begin.

"This aint bad."

"Scrag."

Alexandria and Pants were laying around in the sun on the grass, both clad in the exact same pair of aviators, soaking up the bright sun of the Bright city. The girl didn't need it, being a nice healthy tan color in the first place, but it wasn't like there was anything else to do. Classes hadn't started yet, they'd already been placed in the best dorm, and they were pretty much done with anything they could need to do.

So basically all that was left was to be lazy bums while they still could.

The girl was having fun, though. People watching was a favorite pastime, and with all the different people here it made it even better. Lots more rich kids then she cared to think about, but hey.

Pants suddenly sat up and looked around, spotting a tree nearby with someone under it. He suddenly jumped up and raced over, fading into the shadows and reappearing in the branches above to spy. Pants wasn't sure what he thought of this little fox creature, even though it was a fellow dark type.

Ria just ignored him and tried to pretend that he didn't belong to her. The little pant monster was going to get her in trouble one of these days.
