I'm pretty sure most of you have played this already. So, what did you like about this game? Did you prefer this over FFX-2?

The game had it's negative and positive parts compared to Final Fanasty X-2.

The first positive thing it had is the fact that there was a more wider range of playable characters. Whereas FFX-2 only had 3. Also the fact that you could change weapons and be able to customize those weapons to create new and more powerful weapons out of already existing weapons (reminds me too much of FFIX though and the Synthesizer thing). Also the fact that each character could user magic, physical, and assist abilities instead of always having to change dress spheres.

But what I didn't really like about FFX is the fact that there were no normal character levels but rather sphere levels which kind of was a change from the traditional Final Fantasy.

What bugged me about FFX was that every character could be everyclass. I like it when you have to choose who to have in your party and you lose a type of character. Thats why I kept Yuna a healer and Auron a tank.

So basically what you're saying is that you like the more Final Fantasy Tactics/Advance style. Where certain characters can become a certain job class and no other.

Actually Tactics the original for PSX was a good game with a great storyline but the Advance version sucked major hairy balls.

No more like Final Fantasy IX. Where Vivi is only a BM and Steiner is only a Tank. Tactics had that wide Varity as well. I usually had the main character a Paladin/Ninja and with the original Tactics a Samurai/Ninja.

IX was weird cause the battle system was weird cause the Trance ability was just messed up. Since any action you did would lower the Trance guage. But of course I think that Zidane had the most powerful and original TRance Abilities in the game (i.e. Grand Lethal, Solution 9, Meo Twister 5, ect). Still think that they should have put in more of the classic Limit Break/Overdrive ability.

FFTA was weird cause there were different races and had not each one could attain the same classes like in FFT. Which made the game more fun but also more challenging. But I kind of hated FFTA cause there were no realy Specialty classes like in FFT (i.e. Holy Knight, Dark Knight, Soldier, Dragoner. ect).

I have yet to get them. I played them next to each other when my friend let me borrow both. But I never beat either of them cause in FFX I was busy getting all the Celestial Weapons (fully powered) and in FFX-2 I got stuck battling the Magus Sisters cause my character's level's are too low.

I gave up on it at Zanarkand near the end of the game. I just wasn't interested anymore so I traded it in.

I beat FFX because the last boss (Jecht) wasn't all that hard if you have the Celestial Weapons. Personally the game was way easier than Final Fantasy VIII which to date is the hardest one personally because Sorceress Ultimecia a beyotch same goes for Omega Weapon.

Ok let's think about it, I personally liked FFX but learned to hate it.

Good Points
Sphere Grid, it was different and worked IMO.
No Class System, some might not like it, but I liked how you could be a mage that kicked A** with a sword and blew everything up with Ultima.
Music, yeha liked the music, yes im a Black Mages fan too

Bad Points
Tidus, he was just so....you know, I hate him ^^
World Map?, where's the free roaming aspect! Suckage
Jecht, did anyone else find him easy to beat?
General Cast, kind of annoyed me
Storyline, Cheesy really cheeese filled

I played the whole thing but got bored of it, you kidn of expect your breath to be taken away when you reach Zanarkand in game, i was kind of like "thats it?"...
If It's Theirs, Take It
If It's Yours, Keep It
If It's Dead, Dump It
