Well that was always the drawback to using Zero is that he had a very weak defense. He does great amounts of damage with the Z Saber (or even worse with the Sigma Blade and the T Breaker in X-8) but without the expense of having a weak defense. It's even worse with Nightmare Zero but all mainly because using Zero was like a doubled edged sword.

I liked the auto charge and the rapid fire additions they added in X-5 & X-6. I really don't like having to hold the button down to charge attacks. But what I liked the most is the Ultimate Buster chip/additon X gets in 5 & 6. Also I never use the dash button cause I liked to double tap the d-pad same with all the other characters too.

I believe that was mandatory to use Axl when you start out in X-7 since X doesn't join until you defeat at least 4 bosses.

I never played X7 really. Everyone says it's crappy for taking Megaman X into the 3d element whereas he's better suited for sidescrolling apparently. I don't think that's absolutely true and personally I think that with the right work a 3d Megaman game could be made that would be a huge success, but unfortunately none of them have been.

X-8 is both 2d and 3d (on certain aspects at least) and it works great. To me the game is a big improvement over the mistake known as Megaman X-7. The only thing that I liked about X-7 was the introduction of Axl.

Yes as I heard X8 went back to sidescrolling style gameplay. and then Megaman X command mission was turn-based gameplay as I heard, which is the worst type of gameplay ever I think.

My friend wants me to play Megaman X Command Mission X-7 cause if you play it and then play X-8 you get to battle Cutman right before you battle Optic Sunflower at the Troia Base.

As I recall half the bosses in that are from Megaman 1 and the other half are from megaman 2, making it one of the only Megaman games with two fire based robot masters (fire man and heat man.....)

Then they got rid of that trend in Megaman 5, in which they had all new robots based off of the planets.

Itr was inevetable mainly because of Sakugrane in Mega Man II. Tango the cat was basically just a more destructive and less controlloable weapon than the Sakugrane. And anohter reason would because Rush had already been created so they created a cat to match the dog.

There's no need to have cats to match dogs. Capcom could have just been more clever and not created that cat.

Actually I think that the GB games aren't made by Capcom but rather a sub company inside Capcom.
