Eh...I guess it was finally time to create the thread. I'm probably sure that many of you took the time to at least rent or play the game for a little bit. Compared to Soul Calibur II, there were some MAJOR changes done in Soul Calibur III. The first change of course being that almost everything about the game you have to either unlock somehow through playing the Tales of the Sword part or the Soul Arena or even ther Chronicles of the Sword. A big downside about the game is that everything in the game was ridulously expensive. But also many new and cool things were added to the game. Coming into the game they introduced 4 new characters as well as allowing the option of creating your own personilized character with his/her own style. Also like Soul Calibur II there were specialty weapons as well as Ultimate weapons and toy/joke weapons. Also another drawback if can call it that was the fact that in the story mode you can no longer set the difficulty but rather was set for you depending on how you do.

Anyway, enough of my rambling, come in and discuss.

Would have been better if NAMCO had stuck to the original plan and waited for Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft to release the new platforms and do a continuation of Soul Calibur II by adding special characters to the three different versions.
