Well it looks like it's been a while since anyone's used this board. Guess I'll start it back up.

Well to start off, last week, my girlfriend and I broke up after four months. We both say it was mutual. But it was really because she wanted to move on. And who am I to get in the way of who she wants. Don't worry though, we're still friends.

Anyway, the reason why I'm here is because I've fallen in love with someone else. Someone who I know I shouldn't go out with. Someone who is already going out. I'm usually better than this. I can usually control my emotions pretty well for being a teenager. But I guess things change.

I've been on this ride before, where I've fallen in love with someone who wouldn't love me back. Everytime that happens, I come out falling apart, and am forced to put myself back together, only to fall for it again.

But somehow, this one is different. Probably because I can't ask her how she feels about me, since she's supposed to be in love only with her boyfriend (who happens to be a good friend of mine). So any advice on what I should do would be helpful.

I see..... that is a tough situation... I've been in the same knot before I met Alan

What I did though was respect my friend's relationship and even though I still liked him I did not say anything to anyone and soon it just passed. Now he is single again, but I am not and it worked out for the better.

Just follow your heart.
I don't know if that was good advice, but it is always what I do.

Doozy is right, this is a tough situation.

I have been around this sort of thing a few times. Respecting your friend is one thing that you should definitely do. Think of how you would feel if you were in his shoes.

This is one of those things where you just have to listen to yourself. Do what you think is right for not only yourself, but also for the others involved.

I've kind of been caught in the middle of that sort of thing before. It's not something that is fun. It messes with your emotions and you question the relationship...or even what friendship you may have had.

I know this may not help you as much as you wish, but following your heart is something that you have to do. Follow your heart, and make decisions that won't leave you or anyone else broken themselves.

It all makes sense, what you two are saying. I've been telling myself just that for the past week. I guess I just needed to hear someone else say it.

Thank you.
