"Ok. My name's Alyssa, and you've probably noticed what I can do. If not, then know that I can talk to animals, well, most animals anyway. That's not why I'm running though. Inquisition's got nothing on me, I hope. I killed a man trying to take advantage of me, his friends hired a bounty hunter, one thing led to another, a bit of bad luck, and here I am." That said, Alyssa looked around, noticing how quiet this area was for the first time, now that the sounds of the mob were more distant.

"Well? What's your story?"

Kirat

Now that she said it, her power did seem obvious. He thought for a moment, considering whether she might turn him in iff he told her, after all, he had next to no proof about her, he on the other hand, well the bite mark was still there. "Well, I got kidnapped when I was younger, then bitten, by a werewolf. Ofcourse werewolves don't stay hidden long so the inquisition found out and like you said, one thing led to another and it ended up with me here." He frowned, why had he told her this? He had never ever told anyone before, he would probably of told another werewolf.. But would he? They seemed more aggressive then he was, its' probably how they survived better then him. Most ended up murderers or thugs, killing for a living.

"No water, sorry," Sefirot breathed, leaning against a wall. He was getting old... "Let's keep going." He stood up straight and continued walking down the alley. "So why're you running?"

Cronan listened cairfully, but he couldn't hear the sound of any more pursuers. It seemed that he'd escaped immediate danger.

The house Alyssa and Kirat found themselves in was quiet, mostly empty. The floor was a mess of broken and fallen objects, and a table placed in the middle of the room was set with the ruined remains of a meal, with at least two places served. Some of the food was still noticeably hot, so the dwellers here must have fled from the mob, grabbing what they could carry. They must have had little to start with, and taken everything else useful.

Horace sighed but stood back up and followed none the less. "Have you ever heard of me, Horace Black the illusionist?" He asked, hopefully. He liked to think he was well known for his amazing tricks. However, he was a realist. Not a very persistent though. "Let's just say that one of my tricks was... well, impossible." He finished with a chirp. He was quite pleased with the stunt, even if it did turn him into an outlaw. "What about you?"

Sefirot was not above a small lie to help one feel better. "Your name has reached me, yes, through my clients - some of them have been very impressed. As for myself, all that I did was give people advice."

Alyssa grinned, looking at Kirat differently now.

"That's interesting, I've never met a werewolf before now. Only seen humans and animals, and the occasional Vampire during the early years. Anyway, it seems like we're safe for the moment, but we might as well be prepared." Alyssa smiled and waved at the food.

"Eat up, who knows when your next meal will be." She told her rat companion. In the meantime, Alyssa listened for sounds outside, and if there didn't seem to be anyone present, she would walk out of the house and look for other directions to take, beside the one she'd come in from. It always helped to have an escape route...

Checking the doors were sufficiently defended and sturdy he moved away to the table. Sitting opposite Alyssa he smiled and licked his lips, "Oh it's been a while since I've had a hot meal!" He grinned taking a few bites of the meal, getting lost in thought. What moon was it to night? He didn't have a clue, he could be putting her and himself at risk iff he changed that night, it would be better to leave and risk it outside then stay in and change. "I've never met a person that can talk to animals before either. Never seen a vampire while I'm at it, and the last werewolf I saw was 3 or so years a go I think." He noted that she was near the door, perhaps untrusting or looking for an escape? He shrugged anyway, he didn't care what she did as long as she did not attack him.

The night slowly falls silent as the mob disperses. The district is in ruins, many buildings still smoulder while the bones and ashes of heretics litter the streets. Those that managed to escape move on as fast as they can, praying that they can avoid retribution, but the danger has passed.

OOC: The thread is officially over, you all get one experience point for surviving. Feel free to finish talking to one another though ^_^
