Well, my package finally came in (after waiting for two and a half weeks when I sent it in >_> ). Got my Wii fixed, and not I finally got the chance to play Metroid: Other M after letting the game stare at me for 2 weeks... Taunting me... And if you have an extra $50, I HIGHLY recommend getting this game; Metroid fan or no. The graphics are amazing. The storyline is deep, but not so much where it completely controls the game. And the controls are surprisingly simple, but flow almost perfectly. After waiting for this game since November of last year (when I first placed the reserve order), I gotta say. It lived up to my expectations. |

I planned to get it myself just haven't had any spending money for the past few weeks for anything but it's good to hear such positive reactions to the game.

Well, if/when you get the money, I suggest you get it. There's a lot of mixed reviews going around, but Metroid: Other M really does feel like a classic Metroid game, just made 3-D. And if you haven't played any of the classic Metroid games, you'll experience it for the first time, and I guarantee you'll love it. |

Well, I "beat" the game, but this is kinda were is doesn't feel like any Metroid game; and not just the classics. The "last" boss you fight really isn't even that difficult. Then you go to a long, awesome cut scene, and then there's the credits. But after the credits roll by, you unlock a few more things to use in-game, and there's more things to collect. So I've got a bit of a hunch that there's still more story to take in. I'm seriously hoping so, or the ending would be a bit of a let down... |

well most new games are a bit dissapointing being that they're to easy to beat you don't have to think about anything. Whereas the old games you could sit there forever and have to solve difficult puzzles hard bosses and other stuff. |

The game is not easy by any means; I've died many, may times. xD But it is a bit short, oh well. Didn't get the 100% ending, so I didn't unlock everything the game had, so I'll probably give it another run-through some time in the future. And the actual ending was good, not great, but seeing how the story went along, it fit extremely well. And supposedly there's another ending for getting the 100% completion, so yay.

Only games I've ever done that for were Metroid Prime (only because I couldn't get the 100% completion) and No More Heroes (because I was stupid enough to choose the normal ending) xD |
