Minecraft Update 1.11, known as the Exploration Update, goes live today for PC and Mac, and introduces llamas, new maps, locations, and adventures for Minecraft players.
As we learned over the weekend, Minecraft’s upcoming Exploration Update will make some pretty significant changes to Mojang’s smash-hit sandbox game. For starters, we’re getting a new class of mounts, llamas, that can be grouped together into caravans whenever you need a mobile item storage solution and/or defence force. We also got our first look at the Woodland Mansions being introduced this year, along with the new enemies that will populate them, and new type of storage container being added to Minecraft. Now, the first official developmental preview of Minecraft Update 1.11 is available for download, via the game launcher, and it looks like the next patch is going to be even bigger than we thought.
The complete patch notes for Minecraft snapshot 16w39a and Minecraft 1.11 Long time Mojang developer Jens Bergensten returned to reddit on Wednesday morning with full patch notes for Minecraft snapshot 16w39a which outline a variety of new additions and backend tweaks. And it turns out Minecraft: Pocket Edition isn’t the only version of Minecraft getting a burst of new content from one of its cousins, following word that the Observer block from MCPE is headed to the Java version of the game. More changes to The End are also included in our first sneak peek at the Exploration Update. Change-Log

I actually liked my spam clicking to be honest. :/ Oh well so far the 1.11 update is interesting, still haven't found the new mansion though. DX

The new mansion and structures don't generate on our 1.10 map. I've already started working on this as I plan on introducing multi worlds so users can switch between version maps. However I'll probably need to add a poll to wether or not players should migrate to the new map.

I'd rather just have our default world for building and maybe another world for exploration. I really don't want to have to re-build my base, and I'm sure Mar wouldn't want to have to rebuild that tower of his.

Eh. There's pros and cons, however, I feel like they've added too much.

Eh. The only reason why I would go back is because of the combat update.
