Boston Red Sox Trade:

OF- Michael Bourn $7M (2014)
Grade A-/A Noah Syndergaard, RHP, New York Mets

New York Mets Trade:

Grade A Archie Bradley, RHP, Arizona Diamondbacks

I did this because I think Bradley is better than Syndergaard. It's also moving some cap room, before I didn't have any room to bring up Odorizzi and Bogaerts because I overestimated my team. With this move I'll be able to bring my minor league players up, ditch a guy whose sole value is in sb's anymore and move out of "Thor" who really is phenomenal for a pitcher who can realistically help me win this year. In this league it's all about winning this year for me. Bourn traded for a B- top 600 prospect earlier, so this should be an even push and give the Mets somebody to resign should he so wish.

I have the cap room and needed the output that Bourn should provide and according to Sirius MLB radio Noah will be very good

Not sure I get it. The prospects are ranked close. Bourne still has value and this trade makes it seem like he doesn't. I think it is to lopsided.

That would be 2-1 not 1-2.

Need 2 more passed or 2 more denied.

This is a very interesting trade. I see it two ways. RedSox needs to shed Cap and Bourn has fallen out of favor. To me the Prospects are almost equal, I favor Bradley higher fantasy value wise due to his team, and he should be up sooner, and as a personal preference. Bourn still has Value, but it has to be looked at as limited value. He is hurt at the moment but it should not hurt is value too much unless his surgically repaired hamstring needs more time to heal, which is possible.
so is it a trade to drop salary and still acquire talent or collusion? IT is not collusion as I was offered one of the players involved so I have intimate knowledge that it isn't.
It is a trade to drop salary but by acquiring a top propect for a top prospect it isn't a true roster dump.. Very tough to determine a proper outcome for my vote. I'll have to vote this way.

3-2
I feel that RedSox needs more in return for Bourn, not a lot since his value is limited, but for $7 mil and good value I would expect to have more in return. I understand the nature of the trade but still feel like RedSox is not receiving close to a descent return.

I think it could be better but I just dealt bourn for a b- and his value couldn't have been much since nobody was willing to even give a B. So yes one more prospect involved would have been good but not a deal breaker.
