Tigers send: Austin Meadows, OF, PIT B+/B 1st Round MiLB (2nd overall) Chris Stratton B/B- for Adam Wainwright, SP, 13M (16) David Holmberg, SP, CIN B- Revised. He gets a top 50 prospect in Meadows. He thought adding him alone weighted it too much on my side, so he sent over Holmberg, who is a B-, but profiles as a 4th starter at best, fringe average. Edited by Red Sox GM, Mar 26 2014, 12:35 PM.

I accept, even though this deal benefits me more than the previous one that was posted, I wanted to make sure I gave Tigers something back which is why I put in Holmberg. Grade has gone down from a B to a B- but the big addition is Meadows who in his first season eclipsed the leagues he was in, thus earning a B+ grade and the 46th overall spot on Mlb.coms top 100 prospects. WW gets the 2 B+ Holmberg<Stratton due to grade but because it is Adam WW, I feel that all together it is a better overall trade than our last one. |

Braun got more. I think WW should get a little bit more but after a while it starts to run together on actual value. I really like Holmberg but Rob is right that he doesn't have more than a 4 ceiling. The league limits the value of specs but two of the B+ pieces in the MiLB draft are quite nice. There are actually some incredible players available in this years MiLB draft so I don't knock the value of that at all, and Stratton was lowballed, he has 2 value and he's consistent. I'll pass it...barely 1-0 Edited by Red Sox GM, Mar 26 2014, 07:32 AM.

2-0 Money also matters and 13M over 3 years is a commitment. I find the trade to be a pass. |

3-0 The 3rd best pitcher for two B/B+ is ok with me, seems like the other are just preference swaps. |
