Yeah, Zymeth just posted his own topic of Skull getting upgraded. I too have a picture of an "upgraded" Ring Man, so to speak. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v145/Reb...gman_sketch.jpg As (most of) you can tell, I heavily based him off of Ariga's design, but there are plenty of differences. First off, with Ring Man's actual armor, his shoulder pads and elbows have become pointy, which is why when wearing the suit his shoulders and elbows tend to stick out so far. Also, the ring ornament on top of his head has been knocked off (something which I am going to do in BoW), which leaves a mark on top of his head. Lastly I added a "necklace," although heck, that could have been in the original design for all I know. As for weapons, I based it off of what Sean suggested, giving him more "trick rings," such as one that shrinks and expands and another one which is completely flexible and can bend in a variety of ways. Finally with the detective suit, while it is similar to Ariga's down to the very pose, you can tell that the suit I drew is more form-fitting from the waist up, and the belt is also different, sporting Ring Man's chest symbol as the buckle instead. Also his coat only has two buttons to hold it together, compared to the four buttons on Ariga's design. Also, since this Ring lacks a head ornament his head doesn't need to have a hole on the top for it. |

Nice work! Ringman's one of my favorites out of MM4 next to Pharaohman, and the redesign looks better even though not a really whole lot has been changed. i like the "trick rings" idea… maybe i should find a different way to expand on Saturn's secondary weapon for much later in the epilogues. |

Being a big fan of guys like Hawkeye and other comic characters with trick weaponry like how you are thinking outside the box with Ring Man's powers, plus i like the subtile yet intriguing design mods for Ring Man. They look good. |

Saw it on AIM... and yes it is very cool, I especially like his ring bracelets. ![]() Though, I will still miss the bubble wand on his head. IT WAS FASHIONABLE.

Bubble wands attached to helmets were so five minutes ago. Knocking them off is the way to go now. |
