Just found these in one of my old art folders and don't think I've posted them before... Basically I get bored and fire up Photoshop and have some fun from time to time, I think I did all of these during class...

I tried to make a starfield from scratch but never finished... It sucks pretty bad, but that's ok

Yeah, I'm rusty and these aren't that good, maybe if I get bored sometime soon I'll reinstall Photoshop and do some new stuff... And yes, I know there are some major errors in these, they were done quickly with little regard to lighting

Actually, I'm pretty sure you did post these before, and we were finding all sorts of patterns that were mostly faces in the planets. I recall that there was a small red planet as well.

Nevertheless, these are awesome.

Oh, shit, you're right, I totally forgot about that. Don't know what ever happened to the red planet, I don't much remember it...

I tend to see skulls on the planets/moons, and similar features in the starfield. I don't know if I'm just seeing things or what. Nice effect though, if they were intended.

You did post photoshop space-stuff before, but these seem to be a separate set of photoshop space-stuff.

No patterns were intended an any of these, anything you see is purely coincidental...

Or is it?

There's a sharingan in the starfeild.
That, Or what seems to be a kind of cryptic.

As for the green planet, if you focus on the left upper curve enough, you can see a skeletal shoop da whoop face.
...
Yes, I know my imagination is over-active. If it burned calories, I'd be penicl thin by now.

Oh you made the starfield from scratch? That's cool ^_^ I can see faces and stuff too, like a guy on a bicycle and those nebula things almost look like hidden words or something. But maybe I have an overactive imagination too ^_^; Oh wait... I do... Good job still ^_^

You think that's bad? Are you crazy? Man, you SHOULD get back into photoshoping...

Or perhaps I'm easily impressed? I don't think so.

I used to sell pieces when I was back in high school and had access to a poster printer... I wish I still had the copies of the images I did back then, they were far superior to what I'm doing now. I actually have one of the posters so I'll take a picture of it next time I'm at home.

I was just fucking around tonight and started remembering all the stuff I used to throw into the planets... I forgot about like 6 layers worth of stuff I had on there. Once I install PS again I'll get it rocking and have some new stuff.

This must of been what I posted before:

A very rushed "completed" work. I don't like how it turned out at all looking back at it. A lot of silly mistakes thrown in there, but I don't have the PSD so I can't fix it unfortunately...

That's the one all right. And this board has separate tables for each post so I don't have to turn the image into a link this time.

Yeah I tested it out before I posted it... I'm a big fan of working with huge canvases, generally the size of my desktop so very rarely do things get sized down.

These are beautiful! I'm a huge fan of the planets, galaxies, and universe myself so this just really hits me. I put the large picture as my desktop!

I hope you do more!

Tell me if you take requests or challenges! Just because I'd love to see your vision of a Blackhole or Dwarf Star.

I've never really taken a challenge/request before, but I guess I could give it a try.

I planned on doing that when I got home, actually. o_o This is some effing good work. If you posted it before, I don't honestly remember seeing it. Perhaps that was during one of my bouts of inactivity. That happens from time to time, after all.

Well, I'm using the ever so shitty Photoshop Elements (it's not THAT bad, actually, I just prefer my old school Photoshop) and have some ideas for a black hole. I hope it comes out as good as I envision in...

Just banged out one of the planets quickly

Posted Image

PS:Elements doesn't have nearly enough of the effects I tend to use so it came out... weird looking. I was going for the look that it was being distorted as it was being dragged into a black hole.

And yes, this time there is a skull in there. I didn't have time to make my own so I used one I found online, and it wasn't exactly what I wanted, but it served it's purpose. Far from finished, but I can't do much until I get my real Photoshop installed.

Only complaint is that there are no stars being sucked in as well, unless they were the first to go.
Then again, I'm very finicky.
Good job.

Well, I only did the first planet. I'll probably do 3 more, then the starfield and some other shit. I'm going to try to think of some graphical representation of a black hole, which will be fun

That sounds like it's going to kick ass. Can't wait to see how it looks.
