WARNING!

A recent interest in the Power Rangers Zord toys got me probing a few places, ultimately leading to eBay, just to see what I could find. And then I spotted this. As a kid, I did own several generations of Power Rangers toys. But amazingly enough, I never owned the original Dino Megazord (a childhood friend of mine had one and I would often have fun with it as his house). Now being a realist of sorts, I found it strange that such an item would start off at just five dollars (the shipping doesn't bother me that much; I've paid more for similar items), but given what I've seen on this page, the Megazord is in very good shape. Missing a cannon, of course. The Mastodon's trunk is inserted upside-down, and there's a bit of sticker peeling on the Triceratops head, but other than those little details the Megazord shown looks pretty much legit. But of course, I imagine many people who get ripped off online face similar challenges. Then again, the seller doesn't ask for direct cash, rather payments through Paypal, which I've used successfully many times in the past. And it seems like this guy has been around since eBay has been existing. Nor do I see any negative reviews from him. 100% positive feedback. That's just... well, it seems really too convenient to me. Granted, I don't have an absolute desire to get this item. Just a small part of my childhood beckoned me with a recent influx of Power Rangers memories, and boredom and curiosity led me to searching for a possible original Dino Megazord (I also learned that a 2010 version was released, but I don't really like it that much aside from some positive points). So given that the bid for this item ends fairly soon, and not one bid has been placed, I'm tempted to take a shot at it and see if I can nab this little gem. What are your guys thoughts on this? Yay or nay? Worthy risk or avoid at all costs? [rant]To be truthful, I'd shell out big bucks if someone ever created a fully articulated version of the Megazord that can still separate into the separate Zords. We have the technology and know-how, damn it; we just need the DEMAND![/rant] |

Well, it does seem to be in good shape, at least it still keeps a few more accessories than mine, but I OVER compensate with the extra zord. Now about the price you see, I do believe it is fishy, too low to start, or maybe it's some strategy or something. |

Sellers often sell things far below the ending price point. It looks genuine to me. I say go for it, but don't expect it to stay at $5. |
