Some more quirks. I perfer robot and alien characters over human characters. This includes for role plays and such. Like Spark, my collection of Video Game Music is large. I have a few OST Game music CDs as well. My first one was Chrono Cross that I got back in 2000. I do not like sleeping in or staying up late... AT all. I like to sleep when there is complete silence. I cannot sleep with noises going on. I like to sleep with my bedroom door open. Closing it just makes me feel enclosed... This may seem odd, fancy myself as a loner most of the times. Maybe it was how I was treated growing up. Though; I am pretty happy and easy going. Like Floofie, I like cutsey games. Twinbee, Kirby and Parodius ooze with cuteness. Parodius is one of my favourite Konami Series. |
I once killed an alien, his pelt made a nice jacket for a street hobo.

Just another Megaman clone... A clone with a Boomstick!

I prefer Tim Burton's Batman to Christopher Nolan's series. I mean, they're both amazing, but Jack Nicholson and Michael Keaton just can't be replaced. I don't get fat. My first Mega Man game was Dr. Wiley's Revenge for the Game Boy. The person working at EB Games at the time let me test it, and my first reaction was that the graphics were bad, but after that, the gameplay won me over. Since then, I've learned that graphics mean nothing. I can listen to anything. Though I really enjoy anything rock (classic rock 'n' roll, metal, punk), there's also something about 80's music that just intrigues me. The only reason I listen to modern rap is for the hilarious lyrics. I used to be big on NES collecting (even aquiring two items worth over $300), but I soon found it pointless, as playing them is much better. When I really feel it's neccessary I'll stand up for stuff that matters; douchebags at school, bad teachers, etc... I could get a LOT more done if it wasn't for my procrastination. More stuff probably later... |

Don't get me wrong, Raij, I wasn't trying to soften it, per se. It's just that I pretty much only talk to myself so I can hear my thoughts and fully take them in... although it certainly doesn't help that I tend to use the second person (albeit more as a lecture than an argument) as well. XD;;
Not gay myself, but hey, there's no shame in what you said, really. I mean, I hate how people seem to think that all gay guys act feminine and all lesbians are butch or whatever. That's horribly unrealistic, and frankly if LGBT people feel like they "have to" fit those stereotypes to be "visible" or whatever... then there's a problem in society as a whole as far as I'm concerned. You are who you are, Nijubu, and don't let anybody tell you otherwise. |

Well, I guess it's never too late to contribute. Except maybe to Raijin, who's done an awesome job picking up and holding together AXE. But at any rate: I handle stressful situations incredibly well. Often, it seems I thrive off of them, like I need to be stressed in order to be happy. It's nice, because I'm able to handle situations as they arise, but it's terrible, because I subconsciously create stressful situations for myself, usually by procrastinating. Continuing the previous remark, I'm able to handle a busy lifestyle well. For example, I was working two part time jobs earlier this year while I was going to school. I would be at my first job by 8:30, leave at 3:30 and be at my next job around 4, be there until 9:30, and get home at 10. Occasionally I would have a day off from one job or the other, and be able to work on school. What's problematic, however, is that I'm terrible at committing to projects. For whatever reason, I just can't stick with something very long. This applies anywhere from visiting this forum (or even finishing this post) being a forced effort (it's not that I don't like the community, just that I quickly lose interest), all the way to how I dropped out of college earlier this year because I felt I wasn't getting anything out of it. I am a ridiculous technophile; I will often burst into discussion with some poor, unsuspecting coworker or friend unlucky enough to be near me when I was thinking about applications of new technology. I often obsess over unused applications of Peltier devices and solar panels, and occasionally wonder why functional electronic clothing isn't a trend yet. I love Dungeons and Dragons. I'm trying to force myself to finish designing my own ruleset for the game. I started playing second edition AD&D, transitioned to third edition when that was the only group available consistently, and have played the occasional fourth edition game. I love traits from each of them, but believe that it could all be worked well together. I'm running Ubuntu on my computer right now. If you would have asked me a year ago if I thought it would happen, "hell no" would have been my response. However, a misplaced Windows CD and a lazy day later, there I was exploring the unfamiliar waters of Linux. I drink casually, and the only thing I've ever smoked was a cigar at my brother's wedding. I loved it, though, but only plan on ever smoking again if I'm drinking. Aside from that, I drink a lot of Mountain Dew. I know it's incredibly stereotypical, but I drink Mountain Dew like some people smoke cigarettes. I get incredibly lethargic if I don't have caffeine for a few days. Like other posters here, I too have an incredibly high metabolism. I'm 6'0" even, and weigh 150 on a good day. But I eat like I should be 250-300lbs. Even after long days, I only need about 6 hours of sleep at night. And there are more, but as it stands now, I can't think of anything else to add. And I've to get to work soon. |

-On that note, let me say that Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill are criminally unmentioned when discussing best Batman and Joker, respectively. Seriously, they ARE Batman and the Joker. Watch Batman Mask of the Phantasm. Still my favorite Batman movie of all time. -Megaman X was my first Megaman game (And my favorite of the entire Megaman continuity). -I hold the SNES-N64 years as the best years in gaming we've had thus far. Those were days where graphics were considered strictly sideline to making a good game. -I reference to the above, I'm incredibly depressed to find that since I hit 20 I'm finding myself talking more and more like Cranky Kong from Donkey Kong Country. |
