Apparently a Geometric Array...

According to this article, a woman named Brenda Namigadde is facing deportation back to Uganda. Uganda has become a nightmare for homosexuals, and the country is currently in the process of passing a bill that would make homosexuality a capital offense. A petition to halt her deportation is here. Please sign. |

I normally don't sign such things, but its really apparent that Brenda would likely be killed very soon after her deportation. I'm thoroughly against illegal immigration, but refugee situations are a different matter. She didn't flee her country because she wanted to steal a job- she fled because she had a legitimate fear of death. I signed it with the comment, "I sign in protest of government run amok." Give me enough men and women with my mentality, and we'd do what the UN is too afraid to do- stand up for people who can't defend themselves, and annihilate all standing corruption with sudden, violent, extremely prejudiced force. Then, empower the people to defend against such ignorance and hatred with education and lessons of humanity. Things such brutal fascist governments intentionally starve their people of by feeding them a constant helping of fear and lies. |

Signed. When I clicked the link they said that "[they] won, but the fight isn't over yet". So I'm guessing I was late. :/ |

HUZZAH!

WE won, Not THEM. They held back the reprieve, buying valuable time. I signed it, and shared it on facebook, where at least 50% of my friends, 2 of which are active protesters and have internal connections to protest corps for equal sexuality, will see it |

WARNING!
|
Caught this thread this morning before work on my phone (which isn't the best device for browsing the web) and though some effort, was able to get to the petition page and sign it. As I said in my petition comment, hopefully my signature may just what is needed to win total victory in this matter. That would mean I actually accomplished something worthwhile and just. So for those here who have yet to sign, get going! You know what you doing! Sign petition, for great justice! |
