http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWpK0wsnitc I think this goes a long way in proving that Tom Jane isn't what was broken with 2004's The Punisher. Now...Give us this for an hour and a half with a good story to keep it moving and we'll have the best Punisher film ever. |

Was that Ron Perlman as the shopkeeper in the wheelchair? He looks like he could kick ass without the use of his legs. |

That was indeed Ron Perlman. And in that minute or so of screen time, he exhibited more charisma than the entire cast of Hunger Games. Minus Lenny Kravitz. And Woody Harrelson. Sorry, but if you're gonna have a movie that features gratuitous killing, THIS is how its done, folks. |

That was Punisher: War Zone, with Englishman Ray Stevenson playing Frank Castle. It really wasn't a direct sequel. They got the violence right on that one, but the acting, cinematography, story, dialogue, and directing sucked the life out of it. The only highlight was the villain, Jigsaw, who was pretty amusing, but not really worth the whole experience of the film. |
