Helicopters and S*it

SO now that I have returned, I might as well showcase some of the voice acting I have done since Business of War, which were not only the first voice acting I attempted by the first voices I ever created. Back in those days, I did not own a microphone, merely the internal one in my old school laptop. Last year I finally got one and have done a lot. These are a few finished results of things that I have completed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c-S8omTCkSk This is my current demo reel. I have one that is 5 minutes long, but these things are supposed to be less than 2 mins. One day I shall reedit this to show my range and acting abilities faster and more precise. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cq7ioI1SCFw Now this is a snippet from a project I started, finished recording, and have kinda put on hold. If you enjoyed any prior incarnation of GI Joe, pick up the newly released hard cover GI Joe Cobra: The Last Laugh (or get it on Comixology for $22 bucks. Totally worth it. 13 regular comics and 2 annuals). IT is the best piece of GI Joe fiction ever. As such I wanted to record it and make it a motion comic, especially since my favorite impersonation is that of Chris Latta. The first two comics are perfectly recorded, but the last two have some errors that I shall correct one day. The Baroness is voiced by a classmate of mine from my Senior Thesis class purely because she was an acting minor (though could not do a Russian accent for the life of her). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ftXKLKISQYc Ever hear of Toplessrobot? Up until recently, this amazing site ran a feature called Fan Fiction Friday where the editor, Rob, would riff on bad fan fictions MST3K style. It was great. Some highlights included Garfield wooing Kate Middleton, Superman trying to stop Penny from Inspector Gadget with the help of Batman whose true love is Robocop, the time Megatron sold Optimus Prime to Jabba the Hutt and R2D2 got his picture taken inside Prime's ass, the love story of a giant squid and Hogwarts castle, and this glorious gem. I LOVED this story. I decided to make this into a video for the site, which was actually posted. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OaYF0Mc3UGQ Which brings us to my favorite pet project! Since 2006, I have LOVED Grant Morrison's Batman run. There are those who don't like it (hell I was confused as shit about RIP for a long ass time until I reread everything) but I think it is genius. This would be my third time recording the last arc of his Batman and Robin story: Batman and Robin Must Die! or Batman and Robin 13-16. The difference is I now have a mic and I am doing it as a full fledged motion comic. The first chapter has been done for a long time, I only have to reedit the Title Sequence to utilize new recorded audio. (Just for a taste of how my older work sounded, here is the Title Sequence I made that will be rerecorded when I find spare time: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PnsCCwa4fE8). http://www.youtube.com/user/AAofTransforme...W?feature=watch In addition to my own projects, I am a part of the cast of The Amazing Adventures of the Transformers, which is kinda like an abridged series but not really. In it I am Starscream, Shockwave, Alpha Trion, Gears, and Hound. TBH, the material can be kinda stale and only some parts are funny, but damn it if I don't like playing Starscream and Shockwave. It's been in kind of a limbo since the creator suffered a personal loss but I am ready to start up again ASAP! |
