The sand was deep and unforgiving, swallowing his feet as he trudged along. But it didn't bother Fausto, for he had grown up in this very desert and his legs were long used to daily walks through the harsh climate. He breathed in and out evenly, wiping sweat from his forehead occasionally. The sun was high in the sky, meaning the day was not even half over... That meant a few more hours walking, and then he could find somewhere to camp. Until then, he needed to conserve enough energy to fight if he had to. Not only his kind had braved the harsh deserts of Aklon-- There were other horrid beasts stalking the dunes for easy prey. The last thing he wanted was to be ambushed. Up ahead, he could see a deep ravine had formed, the sand seemingly disappearing as the chasm opened up. Fausto stopped at the edge, kneeling down to peer inside. What he found made his stomach rumble. Three Wyrm eggs were left exposed, their rock-like appearance likely fooling other creatures-- But Fausto knew the difference. These were no rocks. In fact, this discovery could feed him for three days! Licking his lips, he hopped down into the crack, landing silently among the eggs. They were big and brown, about the size of both of his fists, and upon closer inspection he realized that they were edible. That also meant that the mother Wyrm was somewhere close by. They never left their offspring exposed for too long. He needed to get these eggs and be gone before momma came back. He swung his pack over his shoulder and began stuffing the eggs inside, making sure not to crack them prematurely. Once he had them situated, he poked his head into the daylight above, making sure he was safe. But no such luck. The opened maw of a fully grown Wyrm greeted Fausto, nearly closing down on his head as he scrambled from its den. Its long worm-like body was covered in fist sized scales, and its razor-toothed mouth snapped open and closed viciously. It let out a loud hiss, and the human stumbled clumsily backward. He had never encountered an adult Wyrm before... Though he remembered hearing tales back in Sand about how dangerous they were. He tapped into his power reserve, closing his eyes briefly before re-opening them. The twinkling blue of his eyes had been replaced with blackness. Immediately, two clones of Fausto stepped from behind him, each one looking exactly alike. The Wyrm's tiny, beady eyes focused and refocused, and it cocked its head in confusion. Fausto's lips cracked into a smile, though it was invisible due to the cape covering most of his face. In haste and anger, the Wyrm whipped its tail around, aimed at all three copies of Fausto. But he was faster, his clones and himself dipping out of the way. Each one rolled in an opposite direction, forming a triangle around the creature. It hissed and snapped its jaws, trying to figure out which clone was the real Fausto. But it was too late for the monster. Calling forth his most prized power of all, a beam of pure inky blackness came forth from Fausto's outstretched hand, seemingly snaking through the air until making contact with the Wyrm. It thrashed in agony as his power took hold, and with his own consciousness, he entered the creature's thoughts. And just like that, he flicked its brain off like a switch. |

Drudging through the chaotic plains of Aklon was a difficult task, even for Brolis, one whose powers fused with the sand. Even though he was attuned with the soul of Eth, his abilities to move through the sand were rather limited. The winds were also causing sand to blow up into his face which was not helping his cause. He had grown up in Aklon since he was about thirteen or fourteen, but he would never get used to the powerful sand storms or harsh climate. He was just going back to Nuran for a visit to garner some supplies for his travels. Brolis knew that they had what he needed, for Nuran was full of towns and villages and even cities that had many diverse things within their buildings. He was quite excited to be getting there, for he was traveling alone for the time being, as he normally did. The man vowed never to return to Aklon after the death of his step-mother and siblings, but he had to gather some of the rare herbs that Aklon provided, otherwise his alchemical solutions would not be complete. At this time, he was providing some potions to the people of Seara for steep prices. But this included him having to travel all about the world to gather the supplies needed to make these very expensive potions and poisons. Finally, he had found a special plant that he had been looking for for quite a long time. It took him a few moments to pluck it from its hiding spot, but as he did, he felt the earth shake beneath him. His powers allowed him to feel magnified earth movements from even a half a mile away. He knew that it was much closer than that however. He didn't know what it could have been, but he was definitely going to find out. After picking the plant and placing it within his herb pouch, he quickly began to run as fast as he could towards the direction of the rather large quake. He could tell that it was north of where he was, so he traveled that way. He was quick on his feet but soon found what he had been looking for. A giant Wyrm was killed. Brolis quickly inspected it and noticed that it was dead, but he noticed nothing whatsoever wrong with it. No scratches or cuts other than the regular wear and tear on the underbelly, but nothing that could have possibly killed the creature. Something or someone had enough power to be able to kill the creature with little to no trouble whatsoever. He was confused, but now quite curious as to what could have done such damage. He looked about the area and saw nothing more than the corpse of this dead Wyrm. What could have killed it was the only thought running through his brain. |

He didn't quite know what to do at this point. He was never the best at approaching a stranger and introducing himself, especially strangers that he found in the Aklon deserts. But this guy seemed different-- his clothes were odd looking, and Fausto had never seen anyone like him before. He was intriguing to say the least. Standing up from his hiding spot in between two dried up tree limbs, he raised his hand in greeting. Whoever this was, they didn't look too equipped to be out in the desert. Especially today-- there was a lot of sand whipping around. "Here." said Fausto, reaching into his pack as he descended a rather tall sand dune. He pulled out a scarf nearly identical to his own, the only difference was the color. He handed the stranger the folded up green scarf, smiling another invisible smile. "Cover your face with it." he instructed, motioning with his hands in case they didn't speak the same tongue. Without another word, he looked to his most recent kill, quickly going to work on it. Slipping a small dagger out of its sheath on his belt, Fausto dug into the hard Wyrm scales, cutting them off one by one. Once he had a small patch of skin opened, he dug in with the knife, cutting past the rib cage. He nodded at the stranger before reaching his other hand into the hole and pulling out the creature's still very warm heart. Without hesitation, he peeled his scarf back and bit into it. Chewing once, he offered some to the stranger. |

It wasn't long before the man had realized that someone was around. He spun, realizing that someone was behind him and as he did, he pulled out his bow and one arrow, strung it quickly and pointed it at the man's head.
Brolis definitely wasn't sure how to react to the man, but as he pulled out the scarf, Brolis' heart seemed to soften a tad. Lowering his weapon for the time being enough to grip the arrow and bow with the same hand, but keep the arrow ready just in case this man was tempted to pull anything. Brolis was always suspicious, no matter what, of everyone he met. Especially those he met in the Aklon Kingdom. You never knew what to expect there. He accepted the gift and placed it around his neck as instructed with his free hand. So, maybe this was the man's way of telling him he was a friendly being. Brolis wouldn't know until later however. He needed to figure out more about this man before truly trusting him alone. "Thanks, I guess." he said, softly after the scarf was nestled upon his face.
Brolis instantly backed away at the sight of the knife. He even strung his bow a bit. "Don't pull anything or I'll let this arrow fly right through your brain." he said, but as he watched his fellow man dig into the heart of the Wyrm and tear it out, he realized what he may be doing. Brolis was a bit disgusted by the thought of eating a Wyrm heart, but he had heard from some that they were good. He was more used to eating the freshly picked herbs and things that he would find around the world. "No thank you." he said, waving his hand and putting down the bow and arrow. "I'm Brolis by the way. Brolis Demora. I'm not used to seeing lone strangers out in the Aklon deserts. What brings you all the way out here?" he said, trying to investigate a bit. Doing that would definitely make him be able to trust or distrust this man. He was still rather on edge however, not really making too much movement away from the monstrosity that lay beside him. |

At the man's threat, Fausto stopped chewing, his eyes studying the bow and arrow, and next, his could-be opponent's stance. He thought about the powers that could be concealed behind those innocent looking eyes and mentally prepared himself for a battle. But then he introduced himself as Brolis Demora and asked a quite specific question. Fausto wasn't usually the man to have a conversation with, but hell, he'd been walking for quite some time, and this was the first encounter with another sentient being he had had for some time. He nodded. "I'm Fausto, Brolis." he said, the thick strange sounding accent twisting his words. "I come from sand, a sun's walk from here. Northwest." his voice was cracked with misuse, and he cleared his throat before taking another mouthful of the Wyrm heart. He smiled, savoring the gamey taste of the smooth muscle tissue. "What could you be doing, Brolis? All the way out here." it may have sounded suspicious, but in truth, Fausto was only using what little communication skills he had. Sand hadn't had the best grammar teachers. Awaiting the man's reply, he finished the succulent heart, wiping the blood from his lips. At that moment, he wondered how his heart would have tasted to the Wyrm. He chuckled to himself. |

Allowing himself to feel free enough to at least put away the bow and arrow was the first step to trusting this new acquaintance. He wasn't really ready to make friends in any sense of the word, for he wasn't really one for friends. He was more of a wanderer, one that liked to spend his time alone.
As this man spoke more and more, Brolis began to realize that he wasn't used to having conversation. As the man spoke more and more, Brolis could tell that he wasn't much of a 'people person'. Was this man nervous because Brolis himself had pulled out his bow and arrow? Or was it that he didn't understand language? "Well, it's nice to meet you Fausto." he said, trying to keep the sand from getting into his eyes too terribly much. This man didn't look like he was totally a native of Aklon, but at the same time, Brolis tried not to pay attention to those here in this kingdom, he rather liked being on his own, not staying in the cities or towns he passed through for brief moments on his way to another location for his herbalism.
Brolis found his question rather suspicious. This man wanted to know what he was doing out here? But he hadn't truly answered Brolis' question to begin with. He even just pretty much copied his exact question. Brolis' eyes narrowed as he decided to give a response. "I'm here for my herbalism. The Aklon region has few, but very powerful ingredients that I can use to create magnificent potions that sell for much in both the Nuran and Seara kingdoms. Now, what were you here again?" he ended his statement with a question. Brolis wasn't totally exhilarated with having a person nearby that he had to watch closely enough to make sure he didn't do anything suspicious. He wasn't truly ready for friendship or anything, but at least Fausto was nice enough to lend him a scarf for the time being and offer him the Wyrm heart. Suddenly, he felt something coming from underneath him. "Wait!" he said, crouching down, placing one hand on the ground and closing his eyes. It was his way of being able to tell where and which way the movement was coming from. "From the south...I feel something...very large coming this way." he stated. "We should get out of here. NOW!" he said, beginning his jog northwest slowly to allow for Fausto to catch up, then he'd speed up. He knew it was huge, it could have even been a male Wyrm, or something of that nature. They were large enough to do some mighty damage, thus Brolis steered clear of situations that could possibly pose a problem such as death. |

When it came to running in the sand, Fausto had more than an advantage. His specially crafted boots were weighted-- making his pace slower but allowing him to practically skip over the sand. He was far used to the weight of the boots, and his leg muscles screamed as he hopped and danced over the dunes. He caught up with Brolis, nodding at him. "It's big. Very big." he breathed, taking a look behind him. A ways off, he saw the top of a large sand dune explode into a plume of earth, giant fins rising above the ground. He recognized their pursuer as a male Wyrm. He didn't seem to happy about the death of his mate and the theft of his offspring. At the sight of the large creature, Fausto quickened his pace. Fausto figured that the three eggs in his pack were only making things worse for the two runners, and without thought, he dropped them to the sand. He looked to Brolis, figuring that he understood. |

Brolis quickened as he made his way from one sand dune to another, gliding over the sand as quickly as he could. As he turned back a moment, he saw the large blast of sand quickly turn into the figure of a male Wyrm. His eyes widened as he gazed upon the creature. It was huge, much larger than the female counterpart. "W-wow..." he muttered as he made his way to yet another sand dune. He had then turned around and increased his speed to the best of his ability, only hoping to be able to keep away from the mighty beast.
As he looked back, he saw the three eggs strewn across the sand. He realized that was probably what caused the large creature to follow them, that and killing his mate. Brolis almost seemed to blame Fausto for it all, since he was the one who caused the death of the female and the stealing of the eggs. But, he didn't say such a thing aloud. After a few moments of running as quickly as he could, he crouched down behind a sand dune for a rest, saying, "Alright, I think we're safe for now." His heart was beating rapidly, causing more sweat to accumulate amongst the heat of the world, along with his excessive breathing from all of the running the two did, Brolis was just a bit worn out from the adventure. He hoped that the two were out of danger, for he didn't feel the presence of the Wyrm, but who knew what lurked under their feet. Brolis wasn't always able to feel the earth moving, but now and again he had exceptional abilities in that area. "Well, I'm glad you dropped the eggs, if you hadn't, we may have been that Wyrm's latest meal." he said, still gathering his breath and trying to calm down as best as he could manage. |

They crouched there, their chests heaving, and the two tried to catch their breath. All sounds had ceased, meaning that the Wyrm had moved off elseware... Or that it was right beneath them, waiting to finish the job. He really couldn't tell. Usually, he could sense things out in the desert... Things that he normally could not sense. But today was different. He had no access to those weird 'desert feelings' that he'd come to call them. He had always just figured they had come with his original, dark powers. "I dunno' where he went." said Fausto, falling back against their hiding dune. He took another few deep breaths and then rummaged through his pack. "Here," he tossed a piece of bread to Brolis, the morsel protected by a large leaf. Fausto unwrapped his helping and gobbled it down quickly-- The softness of the bread complementing the dryness of his mouth. He fished out his canteen as well, taking a few swigs before offering it to Brolis. He expected him to have supplies of his own, but something about a mad dash to stay alive really brought Fausto's defenses about people down... At this point, he was more apt to make a new friend (he had none). And he figured, hey, Brolis was here-- They had made it, together. That alone caused Fausto to see him in a different light. "Do you have powers?" he asked, throwing a questioning look at his new desert partner. Just for emphasis, he reached deep into his mind, grasping that dark presence that had been there since birth. He navigated the path they had taken in his mind, analyzing, searching... And he found it. The female Wyrm corpse. He reached back into its head and gave it new life. And then he ordered it to come to them. Within seconds, the creature's maw poked through the sand, its beady eyes swirling around lifelessly. Fausto had given it back its life in return for its services... At least, that's how he saw it. In reality, when Fausto let go of his power, the Wyrm would once again die... But Brolis didn't need to know that. He reached out and petted the Wyrm's nose, just to show that it was safe. |

Walking in the desert was tough, especially if you lived in a more lush area of the world. Chris let out a sigh and looked to the sky, shielding his eyes from the blazing sun. Might have just been his imagination, but the sun seemed especially brutal today. It made him sweat, and his tan skin was already turning a slight red. He pulled the water skin off his backpack and opened it up, draining some of the contents into his mouth. It had been three days since he began wandering the desert, and not once did he see any monsters to hunt for meat. He felt some disturbances in the sand a few times, but those were usually gusts of wind. And cities weren’t easy to find out here either, even with his mother’s map. He drank until the skin was half empty, and then held out the skin in front of him. He placed his hand over the mouth of the skin, and then pulled back his hand and traced the opening with his finger. Slowly he withdrew his hand with his finger still doing the circular motion. He could feel the water skin get heavier as the water inside increased, filling it back up to full. Despite the dry atmosphere there was still enough water to replenish his supply, though it was a slow process. He could probably survive for weeks out in the desert, provided he found food during that time. He put away the water when he heard a loud noise coming from up ahead, and the rushed to the top of a large sand dune to take a look. Looking out over the desert he saw two figures running like their lives depended on it while something large seemed to be coming at them from behind. It dived shortly after one of the ones running dropped some eggs, either lack of interest or moving to intercept. The two running dived behind a sand dune to recover. Chris stayed kneeling on the large dune, looking out over the desert. He traced the path the two took back to the origin point, and let out a soft whistle at what he saw. The corpse of a female Wyrm rested a ways back, dead obviously by the hole in the creature’s chest area. That would explain the chase. Chris almost fell over backwards when he saw the creature suddenly come to life, moving along the ground until it was next to one of the men. It looked very much alive, except something was off. It didn’t quite move like a normal Wyrm, more like it was being controlled. He let out a chuckle under his breath as he watched. Looks like someone has abilities over darkness. His eyes glanced over to behind the two resting, and from his vantage point the could see the sand shifting towards them. Whatever it was that was chasing them wasn’t done. And if it was what Chris thought it was then those guys would need help, powers or no powers. |

Brolis finally began to calm down enough to realize that the snake had hopefully passed. It wasn't a very long time that they sat there, but everything seemed to be okay for the time being. He was able to stretch upwards and then take a few deep breaths. Due to his earthly powers he was able to determine where objects were, for the most part. He didn't really even know what to do however, when he wasn't able to sense the beings that were under the earth. Luckily for him, when he was calm, he could sense things. For now, the Wyrm was gone, and everything seemed to be at peace.
Brolis waited to see what it was from Fausto, who unwrapped his and gobbled it down in a hurry. That seemed like a friendship offering to Brolis. He unwrapped his portion as well and took a few bites, realizing that it was actually not half bad. He did know that he hadn't eaten anything in the past twelve hours, so that must have been a relief. "Thanks..." he said, grateful that this newfound acquaintance had helped him in this way.
When he was half way finished with his piece, Fausto had begun taking a few drinks of water from a canteen that he had brought. Normally, Brolis took the water he got from the plants he found, but as most people know, deserts don't offer many plants. Whenever Brolis was able to salvage a plant, he would suck out the juice if he knew that it wasn't a poisonous one. He did have a little pouch of his own, but he decided since it was offered, he would use the others. Taking a few sips of the water himself, enough to make his mouth moist again, he said, "Thank you for the kindness, Fausto."
It wasn't long after he handed the canteen back that something extremely surprising were to happen. Brolis was asked a question. Powers? Why would he want to know if he had any special powers? Maybe it was out of curiosity or it could have been that he was just making small talk. Either way, Brolis decided to answer truthfully. "I actually have the power to control plant life and death, as well as controlling the earth around me. Thus, I have made a good living being an herbalist for the people of Nuran and Seara. What about y-" was all he could say before a certain display of power was shown. All Brolis could feel was the cold shiver thrown up his spine. What was this man doing? Then he felt something massive shaking the earth. He instantly jumped up and concentrated. "Hurry! A Wyrm is coming!" he said, beginning to jog a bit faster. But he turned around to see his 'friend' still standing there. He then glanced up and saw a new figure in the distance, he made a mental note that someone was there, not figuring that it was dangerous or anything, but just meaning that someone else was there watching. Suddenly the Wyrm had burst over the dune and slithered around in front of Fausto. "FAUSTO!" Brolis yelled from a distance, hoping to see that his 'friend' was alright. Then, Fausto came around to show that the Wyrm was under his control. Fausto pet it, and when Brolis took a good look into the eyes of the beast, he saw, that it wasn't the beast anymore, it was the dead beast that he had been by when Fausto cut the heart out. "Darkness..." he whispered to himself before beginning the jog back to his ally. So he now knew Fausto's power. Darkness was a powerful thing when controlled at night, and night wasn't too far away, although the desert sun made it seem like it was much hotter than it truly was, for it was always bright and sunny. "So, you can control the darkness. Interesting." he said before returning to his seat at the base of the sand dune. He wiped the sweat from his brow and turned his face from the beast. He wasn't really ready to look it in the eyes yet, he was still getting over the fact that it was 'alive' even though it was technically dead. He hadn't seen anyone display that kind of power before. He then tried to calm down enough to sense the being that was on the other sand dune. He pushed his head against the sand and tried to concentrate. He then realized that yes, someone was still there, but who? Brolis definitely knew that keeping to himself would be better than not. So, deciding to take caution was his first intuition. He would find out who that other person was, whether he or she wanted him to or not. |

"Mhmmm, the darkness, she has been very kind to me." Fausto replied, looking down at his hands. In his head, he commanded the puppet Wyrm to slither behind him, providing his back with much needed support. He chuckled, patting the dead creature on its snout before snatching its life away once again. "It's not good to keep them alive for long," he explained, trying to educate Brolis about his skill. "Once they are dead, their souls are no longer in this world... The strain of keeping their soulless bodies alive could kill the puppeteer, depending on the size of the puppet." And then, from beneath them, Fausto felt the sands shift. On his feet immediately, the desert native paid close attention to the vibrations coming from the sand-- Deep and resonating. Something was coming their way, and they sure as hell did not want to be around when it got there. Whipping around, searching for an escape route, he caught the shape of a humanoid up on a ridge, ignoring it initially in panic. "Let's go, let's go, let's go!" he said, over and over, starting into a quick jog. He hadn't even made it out of Aklon and he was already fighting for his life! Only time would tell what would happen next. |

Crap! Wrong way idiot! The one who seemed to be controlling the dead Wyrm like a puppet obviously sensed that whatever was chasing them was now hunting them. He got up and started jogging as if in a hurry to get away from something, only to actually be jogging towards it instead. Chris cursed under his breath as he stood up, taking the cap off the water skin at his side. The creature, which Chris assumed was the Wyrm’s mate, probably sensed the movement as well, and immediately surfaced in all its glory. It was huge, more than twice the size of the female and she was decently big to begin with. It let out a loud call as if to challenge the ones before it. That’s when Chris made his move. He learned from both his parents the kind of call a creature made when it was ready to fight to the death. “Look out!” Chris immediately began running down the dune, getting about half way before he jumped in the air. With a swift movement of his right hand he pulled a small amount of water from his water skin and created a small platform of water on the sand. He passed his left over the newly made platform, turning it into solid ice before his foot landed on it. He made a second platform where his next step would land. He kept repeating the process, using the steps he made to reach his top speed. It was a trick his mother taught him. ”If you don’t have a straight path to your goal, make one.” It was actually good that it was so hot out, as each of the steps he used were crushed beneath his feet and began to dissolve on the hot sand. Before it had the chance to evaporate, Chris used the same movement of his right hand to move the water for the next step. He was only using about half the water in his water skin, which was pretty good considering he was about to fight a giant Wyrm. His movements from a distance looked like he was running on platforms of reflective light, and he easily covered the distance faster than normal. When he reached throwing distance Chris made the last two steps stick to his feet as he jumped. He kicked both his feet towards the Wyrm, sending the water towards it as large needles of water. As he landed and right before impact he waved his left hand, freezing the needles of water into sharp pointy icicles. They dug into the creature’s side with a satisfying cry from the giant Wyrm. |

Brolis nodded at the man's words. It made sense that darkness was so 'kind' to him. It was as if Brolis saying that the plants and earth had been so kind to him. He understood the strangers words and smiled. It was then that he, too, felt the pounding of the sand beneath his feet.
Brolis then began to follow, realizing that the Wyrm was under them, but this wasn't going to be an easy task. Fausto had let go of the hold over the female Wyrm, which was actually probably not the best timing, since the male now showed himself to the two. Suddenly, with a burst of power, sand flew up and around the two. Brolis covered his eyes and held the scarf given to him up above his nose, as to save himself from the pelting sand. The call of death was loud, striking fear in Brolis' heart. He wasn't ready to die, but he knew that this male Wyrm was now ready to fight, for he sensed the death of his mate and saw Fausto drop his kin.
It was then that Brolis spun his head quickly to watch what seemed like an experienced display of power of both Netar and Colara souls combined, come from one person. As the man completed his attack, Brolis was shocked. So this was the body of the figure he had seen a few moments before. He quickly turned his attention to the giant Wyrm in front of him. It was huge and looked full of anger, which it was. Brolis quickly pulled out his bow and an arrow, stringing his bow with immense speed then letting fly an arrow of his creation earlier in the day straight for the midsection of the giant creature. It hit directly, allowing the Wyrm to let out another loud cry. But it wasn't just going to take a beating. The Wyrm's power was then shown. The powerful creature opened its mouth and then seemed to dive at the sand, seeming to 'attack' if you will, the one who had last attacked it. That person being Brolis. He slithered through the sand and Brolis had nothing he could do but let fly another earthen arrow from his bow, landing in his opponents left eye. When that didn't seem to stop the raging beast, he placed the bow back onto his back like he always had and then rushed backward, hoping that one of his 'teammates' would help. He wasn't skilled enough to take the sand and turn it into an earthen wall to protect him, not like a skimpy wall would do much against a large beast of this kind anyway. He ran with all of his might, only turning back once to see that the beast was still chasing after him. Doing only minor damage to him, he hoped that these two people on either side could do anything about the raging creature. |

A lot was happening at once-- The ground opening up to reveal the fact that the male Wyrm had not given up chase, as well as the introduction of a new person. This man used his powers to make platforms made out of ice, making a new one with each step he took. Fausto liked his style. He saw Brolis loose a few of his home-made arrows at the creature, which in turn, dove toward the earth, taking one more arrow to the eye. However, it did not stop, heading right for his new friend. This Wyrm had made a big mistake-- One it was about to pay for with its life. "Iel." he spoke, his voice lowering in pitch. He called upon darkness, all of it which surrounded him. He drew it from every craggy rock face in the surrounding area, every shadow produced by a sand dune, every bit of shade. Soon, he felt the power coursing through his very veins, his eyes went pitch black, and he looked to the gigantic creature in front of him. His body then split into four equal copies, each one opening their palms. In an instant, each hand-- All ten of them-- released a beam of pure inky blackness, the tendrils snaking through the air silently before striking the Wyrm right behind its head. The creature faltered in its course, visibly folding up as it chased Brolis. It tucked itself into a tight ball as it rolled, as to avoid any unnecessary damage. It roared quite loudly and corrected itself, unfurling and targeting the man who had just caused it great amounts of pain. Fausto. "Come. I will claim your soul." he simply said, pulling his scarf tighter around his face. And with that, the Wyrm charged with whatever energy it had left. |
