Hi…. My son loves Super Mario Brothers, the original, but that is hard to find. We have XboX 360, Gamecube and Wii. My question is which of the games that are currently out that are most like the original. I’m really looking for something close to the original because anything newer might be a little difficult. Any suggestion you have would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help…..I appreciate it! Chaz |

Something about Mario in crossovers?
|
I'd best try New Super Mario Bros. Wii. You could also go to Wii Shop and buy the originals. |

I believe this belongs in the Mario section, but no worries. Try New Super Mario Bros. Wii for the Nintendo Wii. It's basically Super Mario Bros. with updated graphics and included multiplayer. The other Mario games such as Super Mario Galaxy and its sequel, Super Mario Galaxy 2, are much different and are actually Mario games in a 3D world. They're probably more difficult, so I'd say NSMB Wii if you want something similar to the original Super Mario Bros.. You might be able to find the original game on the Wii Shop app, but not sure if that still works at this time. Hope that helps. :) Here's a trailer for NSMB Wii if you're interested: Edited by Evolution Master, Sep 21 2014, 03:07 PM.

You can buy Original Super Mario Bros. in Wii virtual console for 500 points and if you are looking for similiar game I recommend Super Mario Bros. 3. It is also 500 points in Virtual console and has almost same graphic desing as the first one but it has more levels and power ups etc. |

Like others have said, NSMBW is your best bet. For your 360, you can also pick up Rayman Origins and Rayman Legends which are similar as well. |

Rayman Origins I would recommend, but legends may be a little too hard for your kid. |
