Don't get me wrong. It was an alright film, but it's way overrated. It's basically Pocahontas with minor plot edits, great visuals, and a different setting. It was well worth the two hours, though, I guess.

Wow.. that's pretty neat. I wonder if there are other pages from the script you showed above.

That doesn't surprise me. Though the visuals were nice, the whole film was predictable and was basically saying, "Humans are evil! They aren't as great as animals and don't deserve to live nearly half as much as them too!"

It was a great film, i want there to be another one. 10 years of making the film has paid off i think. Though because of how many times i watched it at the cinemas and on DVD, i cant watch it again till im ready...

Well, at first glance to me all it was was blue cat people. That's pretty much all it is after watching it, too. (Not to mention the swearing, I saw a little kid-probably eight-pick up a copy of Avatar and beg his dad to buy it for him. That must have been an uncomfortable watch.)

Please, every story about some native community being attacked has the same plot (or perhaps with very slight tweaking of it).

This is AVATAR's plot:

Group goes to attack natives.
Lone character leaves the group.
Lone character learns about natives.
Lone character becomes a native.
Lone character strives to save natives from the group attacking them.
Lone character succeeds.
Lone character stays with natives.

Sound familiar?

This is not news.

Oh, and Fern Gully did AVATAR before Pocahontas... well, the movie at least, not the actual woman.
