What do you prefer? Blu Ray or DVDs?

I absolutely prefer Blu Ray because of the high resolution. I actually don't own a blu ray player sadly.

Blue Ray ftw. The resolution is just 10 times better. Even when they re-do an old western movie, you can see all the details.

Bojon1 edit: I moved this topic to debates because I think it's more suitable there.

Blu-Ray, on a smaller T.V., it wouldn't make much of a difference, but I have a 55" T.V. that demands HD.

I don't think blue ray is that overly expensive compared to dvd, but I could be wrong. But again, for some movies, it's totally worth it. JMO.

I noticed bluray is usually $5 more than DVD - for the new dvd's at least.

The one who pawns you!
I rather have DVD, the quality is good and it won't leave your wallet empty.

I always go for the blurays if I can get my hands on them. I have about 3.5TB so far.

Agreed... that's a lot of Blue ray movies. Do you watch them frequently or are you a movie collector?
