Well, which version, the n64, the WII, the gamecube one? I don't know if they are any gamecube versions, though. I don't care about the versions, myself as long as it's a mario kart game. XD

No Gamecube version? NO GAMECUBE VERSION?! Skittle and I would like to have a private word with you...

For me, it definitely goes

1. Double Dash
2. Mario Kart Wii
3. MK DS

- as my top 3

AND SUPER CIRCUIT IS STILL THE WORST OF THEM ALL

Double Dash and Wii are both so damn good though, they're so close. I LOVE Mario Kart Wii's wi-fi - especially the co-operative play that comes online too. The addition of the bikes and TRICKS is genius and it just all works together. But I still can't forget (despite the fact that I haven't played it in a while) Double Dash's super fun dual character system which - you could say - brings a lil bit of strategy into the game, with everybody having their own special weapon specific to them only. You also can't forget that Double Dash was the game that introduced the powersliding formula to the MK games (blue flame etc) even though it lost the hop - which many disapproved of - but I didn't mind.

In the end I decided that Double Dash would win it over just a tiny bit just for the fact that it was the most innovative and for the endless unlockables and the amazing track design. I loved all of Double Dash's courses.

Mario Kart DS is cool but the only thing I didn't like was that powersliding excessively made my thumb sore because of the D-Pad :s

No Gamecube version, huh? How about you go into that room over there, and I'll be in there in a second, erm, WITHOUT a crowbar. Yeah.

Double Dash wins, I have so many great memories of it, the tracks are creative, the music I can never tire of listening to, I'm really sad that my brothers scratched it beyond repair. :(

Thank you! I liked Double Dash, but MK Wii is better.

So, you have absolutely NO BETTER ARGUMENT to support your decision?

I like them all, so it's hard to choose more than one. It's a tie between Double Dash and Mario Kart Wii also 64 is good.

The 64 is the best one because its the one I grew up around. I dont like how mario's face looks like pristine plastic in the Wii vertions

Meh
N64. I love them all to pieces, but nostalgia wins out.

The N64 version was the best for me...perhaps because I played it for 10 years continuously...
But Double Dash was a close second...and I'm disappointed that the double riders feature never came back...yet.

Perhaps in the near future! It still to this day bugs me that I can't pick up two items at once.

That'd be a problem because you could hoard good items and unleash two high powered items at once, making the game even less about skill and more about getting good items.
