Just beat this yesterday and really enjoyed it, so I'll just post the impressions I put on OTI because I don't feel like typing it all out again: It all starts with the writing. This has to be the best writing out of any Nintendo game I've played. There are plenty of funny moments, and the occasional breaking of the fourth wall is great. One of my favorite lines in the game comes late in the game, when Pit is comparing one of the enemy types to Metroids, which leads to a hilarious sequence of dialogue. The writing is complemented by a very respectable voice acting job on all fronts. All of the characters have plenty of personality and depth, which is, once again, a pleasant surprise in a Nintendo game. Gameplay-wise, the game is very solid as well. While the land battles having a pretty steep curve and feel a bit awkward at first, they wind up being a lot of fun, and with the various weapon types, you can really mix and match a lot with these battles and always come out with a different experience. As for air battles, they're always awesome. End of story. I was also really impressed by the amount of collectibles in the game. There's a deep achievement system which rewards you with different powers and weapons, and with all of the different weapon types and powers, there is plenty of depth in this game. The multiplayer is also surprisingly fun and smooth; while I only played a small sampling of matches, I never experienced any lag or dropped matches. It's definitely very skill-based but it never feels unbalanced or cheap. I highly recommend cranking the 3D effect up because Uprising looks absolutely incredible. Definitely one of the best-looking handheld games I've played. The air battles look wonderful, and if you find the time to take a look at the skies in between enemy fire, it's quite impressive. The soundtrack is tremendous and complements the on-screen action quite well. Yeah this is probably really scatter-brained but long story short, I can't recommend this game enough. It's quickly become one of my favorite games this year. Edited by Yeshua, Sep 10 2012, 09:14 PM.

The graphics are indeed remarkable. I didn't know the 3DS could do that at first. |

Pretty good game, tbh. The controls is kind lacky a little bit but still a good game for everyone. |

It's quite a fun game. ^_^ Especially the multiplayer, which can get quite competitive. It's rather tricky at first though because of the awkward direction turning and such. |
