Has anyone here ever wanted to cancel a purchase you made on eBay after winning an auction? I won an auction for the first time and completely forgot that I had bid on it. :r

Luckily the seller was happy to cancel the transaction. Very happy with the outcome, though I'm sure there'll be times where the seller refuses.

never had any bad purchases

I've only ever purchased one thing from ebay really, it was a $1200 guitar, so I made sure to research beforehand.

I've bought a few things from ebay, including the mf prizes. Never had a bad experience. The top rated sellers are usually pretty good.

I usually use buy it now and rarely bid, but the one time I did bid I waited until the last 5 seconds to submit. And won. :D
