After all the years of Pokemon and the multiple new series and additions to the PokeDex, has Pokemon finally hit the wall? I have played Pokemon from the word go, and I have loved every minuet of it. I used to find starting a new adventure in a new world exciting and thrilling. After Fire Red, that thrill and excitement seems to have died. I have not had that overwhelming desire to purchase and, once again, beat all the trainers, gym leaders and the Elite Four, that I had in the past. Maybe it is because I am old. What are your thoughts on this? Has Pokemon run its course and overstayed its welcome, or is it still going strong? |

you've met with a terrible fate, haven't you?
|
If you asked me a year ago I probably would have said it had run its course. But then I picked Black and Black 2 up a couple months ago and have put close to 100 hours into them. Plus, X and Y have gotten me the most excited for a game in the franchise since Gold and Silver, so that's saying something, I guess. |

you couldn't kill this series with fire or acid. As far as I'm concerned, pokemon has never changed since day one and still goes strong. So no, pokemon is far from dying. |
