I was trying to build and survive but I could not kill any mobs because they were in a different place then the screen showed them. I died a lot from mobs I couldn't see and lost all of my items. Every time I respawned it took 10 minutes to show me at spawn and then it would not allow me to move but then zombies kept killing me. Why is there this much Lag? I cannot do anything nor help anyone with this problem. |

Didn't you say your DS was downloading, and that was the issue? Sadly as multiple other people were playing at the time and not experiancing lag, it's not server side. |

Yeah I turned off my 3DS and that helped some bu there was still quite a bit of lag. When I click on "Multiplayer" it shows the server with one bar. When I log in and click tab it shows 5 bars next to my name. In fact Swoll's said only 4 bars interestingly enough. Since as you said this is client side do you have any recommendations on how to decrease the lag as much as possible? (I am short on cash right now so I cannot just buy a new laptop.) |

What you are describing is due to your Internet, not your PC. Just exit out of the stuff you're using your Internet for |

No, a 3DS does use wifi, so it will, it uses bandwidth, and 3DS's use ALOT of it. so if it is on, his internet will be slower, but i dont think that is the problem.

Yeah that is why I turned my 3DS off. I even closed Mozilla. The only thing using my Wi-Fi was Minecraft. That did help but there was still a lot of lag. One reason that I believe the problem is my computer is that even offline my render distance has to be on 2 to get the least amount of lag. This sucks especially for exploring. Once I had played for a month not realizing that a village was only 240 metres away from my house. This however is the same exact problem that I had on my old computer 6 months ago so it is possibly my Wi-Fi. What else can I possibly do? |

It is obviously a hardware issue, it seems your graphics card is not up to par for ( yes this game is VERY demanding ) minecraft. Things like this wont be a WiFi issue, right now im running planetside2 with 2 gtx660's and an i5 processor, but when my internet goes out, or is iffy, the game does not lagg how you would think (running slowly) but all the characters start flating, but im still able to move (EX https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2fym5oL1Yc). So this would conclude to the fact it is a harware issue, sorry bud but you need to upgrade your PC. |

you actually dont need to get anything, especially that unless you have a good 900 dollars laying around. really if you could post your computer specs i could help you craft a nice computer under 300 dollars. |

Thanks guys but as I said earlier I am short on cash. I start saving so I can beef up my computer to the high demands of Minecraft. (doesn't look like it has a high graphics quality though...) |
