GELMAN & FRIENDS - OUT OF BUSINESS
This is goodbye. We've all helped run an awesome server for 5 years now. We've met a lot of interesting people. Made some great memories. Built some incredible things. But everything has to come to an end. Our activity had dropped to nearly zero. I stopped developing MCLight in 2014. There was no point in keeping this going anymore.
So I announced that December 31st, 2015 would be the final day of Gelman and Friends. These forums will remain online. The logs, website, and Faceboook page will remain online. If you want to contact me you can try these forums, my email (mtm4440@rit.edu), or my Facebook. And to answer your last question, no, MCLight will not be released. Thank you everyone for the too-many-to-count good (and bad) times I've had on here. By the way, that secret account of mine on the server that had no IP trace was trixent37. I'll miss you all. Well...most of you.

I am so glad CRG doesn't give a shit anymore since he griefed. How nice would it be to murder someone and then say "NO NEED TO WORRY I DON'T CARE ABOUT IT ANYMORE!" |

It's not the fact that it's not that bad, or crg did more, it's that you're a mod. |

So a mod can't have his fun? his breaks from all the stupidity that the children spew, and troll a little here and there? I always apologize afterwards anyway, its a little late to come and say "Oh, hes a mod" ive done this 100 times before, fucks sake guys. |

Go grief someone elses server then, not yours. Like, really, the fact you've done this a hundred times does not justify it, it makes it worse! Don't do it anymore. |

This has gone on longer than I thought it would. I talked to both of them about it. It's fine now.
As he said. He did try to fix it in the end. Should he grief or touch people's homes in the first place? No. I WILL be fixing that in v90.1. Mods can be banned from homes. Mods can be ignored. Mods can't ozone themselves. There is no reason for a mod to moderate in a home anyway. |

There is no reason you need to implement 'fixes' like these. |

It makes sense though. A moderator or Admin shouldn't need to moderate a home. If they want help, they'll ask you. |

The reason you implemented the feature of mods not being able to be ignored is so if you're commanding someone to do something and they just /ignore you I'd get pretty annoyed. The reason you want to ozone yourself is to help someone that might not know how to use it or they want help and you can /ozone yourself more quickly than telling someone else to do it. Being banned from homes I guess should be allowed. |

How about a strict "use mod commands for modding and not trolling" rule? |
