Sarah: Well, the problem with Vestra is, she does not have sense of morality. She just does what she believes gives the best outcome, though that's fine with me. She's smart. I would know, I'm her sister-in-law. |

Dive Man looked back to see Vestra, standing as if nothing ever happened. His mouth dropped wide open. "What the... Oh, why even bother? This is completel-" A message came through on his intercom. "Yeah... Wait, you have to be kidding... The 3rd and 10th, too? Shit... All right, all right." He turned off the intercom, and threw it to the ground. "Godamnit!" he yelled angrily. Dive Man was obviously extremely angry about something. |

"I'm afraid I'm in no mood for apologies right now, if you don't mind... This has just gotten a lot tougher," Dive Man said angrily. |

Dive Man sighed, and counted on his fingers. "30 new robots have just entered this world on the bad side, and we have a ton less then the robots he has... that means that even if we sent all of our forces- and our reserves- we have the city, we wouldn't have enough to beat everyone. Even Mega Man couldn't help much." He then sat down next to a nearby tree. "The only way we could possibly beat them is to shut every single one of them down... but there's no possible way to do that." |

Vestra smiled. Vestra: There is a way. I have a device, an EMP warhead. Sarah: ...No... You can't use that! Vestra: I have no choice! |

"An EMP warhead? But... Wouldn't that-" "Hold on a second..." "There's no time for holding on! Come on, we're moving!" Dive Man grabbed Dust Man and Plant Man by the arm, dragging them off to the last city. "Get Drill Man back online!" Dive Man shouted quickly to Heart Man. |

Heart-Man sighed. He had already fixed Drill-Man, they just needed oil--and apparently Vestra was too good for that. Without a word, he slung Drill-Man over his shoulders, and started chasing after Dive-Man. |

Vestra went into her lab, locking the door behind her. Sarah: But... You can't.... Sarah pounded on the door, though it was futile. Vestra brought her warhead online, and quickly set it off. However, she forgot to deactivate the shielding of her lab, which completely contained the blast. The electronic lock on the door deactivated, and Sarah ran in. |

Heart-Man finally caught up with Dive-Man after a while of running. He heard an explosion behind him, but strangely, he didn't get hit by an attack--which was both good and a little offsetting. "Drill-Man's internals should be fine...he just needs oil to run again. So, are we going to the Wily Outpost now, or...?" --- Dr. Light's Lab was quiet from the grim news. With the new reinforcements Wily had sent, all of his previous Robots save for Bass had been sent to the new world. It was clear that they wanted this world--and the worst part of it all is none of them knew why he wanted it so badly. And a lone girl stood contemplating this information. All of Wily's past creations against about sixteen good robots and that Heart-Man guy--these didn't look like good odds at all. She had been assigned to guard Dr. Light's Lab, but it was clear that Wily would need to build new robots to launch an attack--and even then, Mega Man and the First could probably handle it by themselves. She sighed softly. She wasn't being as helpful as she could here. And she needed to fix that. Roll grabbed her sword, Virus, from the wall, and walked down the hallway to where Dr. Light was. She had been instructed not to bother him, but she felt she had a reason. A knock on the door to his workshop was unanswered, but Roll walked in anyway. Dr. Light was furiously working on individual parts for his new creations. Without looking up from his work, he spoke briefly and with a hint of exhaustion: "This had better be important. After all, you know how busy I am." "It is. Dad...I want to go to Mobius." Upon hearing Roll's voice, Light looked up from his work. "Absolutely not," he replied in an instant. "You and Mega Man are to stay here and protect me while I work--" "Mega Man's fended off invasions at least seventeen times before all by himself. I'm sure he can handle it. And you're still holding the First Rebellion here...send me instead of them, I feel so worthless sitting here and doing nothing." Dr. Light sighed. Roll never would've done something like this before the Hacker's Rebellion. "Look, I know you want to help people, but I don't want to risk losing my--" "I'm not your precious little housekeeper anymore!" At this point, both of them gaped in shock--Roll because she didn't know where that came from, and Light because nobody--especially not Roll--talked to him that way. Light was smart, though, and he saw he really didn't have a reason to not send her--after all, keeping her around would result in many repeat arguments like this. With a sigh, Dr. Light replied. "All right, Roll, I'll send you in. But you aren't going in like that. I'll build you your own combat armor before you go, I promise I'll have it ready tomorrow. Until then, you'll just have to wait." Roll walked outside of Light's workshop, grateful that he had agreed. "No more sweeping the floors at home, Virus...tomorrow, they'll finally see--we'll finally see--what we're capable of." Satisfied with herself and quite happy in general, Roll set her sword back on its mount on the wall, and went to go help Mega Man with his patrols of the city. All of a sudden, someone pounded furiously on Light's door. "Man, how are we gonna explain this?" --- "Oil, huh?" He tossed a can over to him. "As for the outpost... Our forces are too thinly spread, Heart Man. Take Drill Man with you, we've gotta protect the city." He dashed off again, nearing a city full of explosions... |

Before Roll could leave to help with the patrols, though, she heard a knock on the door. Nobody's crazy enough to bother Dr. Light right now... she thought to herself, so it's either someone who wants to talk to me or Mega...or it's an invasion. Roll shuddered, she didn't want to have to deal with a fight right now. Pulling Virus back off of its rack, Roll slowly approached the lab's front door. Taking a moment to gather her courage, she threw open the door... --- "That's fine...I planned to go alone anyway." Heart-Man stopped his run suddenly. Taking the oil can he'd caught, he poured the contents down Drill-Man's throat. That should do it, he thought, and he powered Drill-Man on. "Hey...hey there...you awake?" |

Drill Man shot up from the table. "Salute, private!" he shouted. He glanced over at Heart Man. "So, you're the one that pulled me out of that hell hole... I must admit, you did an extrodinary job." This was something incredibly rare for him to say. "Thank you, private. I owe you one. So, where am I headed now?" --- Magnet Man was at the door, scared to death seeing his little cousin with a sword. "Hey, hey, easy with that Roll! We're just coming to go to Mobius." He motioned to the rest of the Third Rebellion bots. "And, we brought a suprise..." The Genesis Unit and the DOS bots were also there. "We've all come to help. We heard it was bad down there, and we don't want Wily to have a huge advantage..." |

And this was why Heart-Man wanted to go alone--he didn't want to worry about the possibility of another bot blowing his cover. Oh, well, he didn't really have a choice here. "We're going to the Wily Outpost to the North-East of here. Plug-Man was recently captured, and we're hoping we can find him there. This is a stealth mission, though--don't even fire unless you can do it without being detected or you already have, and in the event that you are found, get the hell outta there. With all of Wily's forces in this world, we'd be hopeless. "Now, do you have the Item 2 upgrade? It would greatly shorten our trip." --- Roll smiled at the group that greeted her, relieved to see it wasn't a Wily robot. She dropped the sword back to her side, happy to see these were robots that weren't here to attack her. "Sorry...I thought you were Bass or someone like that. And...thanks for offering your support." Roll stepped out of the doorway, letting the group in. "Dr. Light's a little busy right now, he has a lot on his plate...building that new Light series, repairing Tornado-Man...constructing my personal combat armor." This last one, she said quietly, wondering if anyone would catch on. "Anyway, you'd better not disturb him now, but in the meantime, make yourself at home." |

Sarah ran in. Vestra was on the ground, struggling for air. Sarah: Vestra! Vestra, weakly: Did... Did it work...? Sarah: The lab shielding was up. Vestra: ...Fffffffuuuu- Vestra was suddenly still, dead. Sarah closed Vestra's eyes in respect, before leaving the lab in silence. |

Drill Man's eyes simply popped out of his head. "Sir. I'm a soldier. Not a spy. If you need Drill Bomb Jumping, I'm your man, but I'm never too good with spy work..." "By the way, every Light-bot is equipped with Support Items 1-3, Wire, and Super Arrow." He pointed to Heart Man's belt. Sure enough, small chips labelled as such were attached to it. "Odd hpw you weren't briefed about it..." "I'm off to the city. See ya!" He spawned his own Item 2 and left. --- Buster Rod G. was shocked at the last statement. "Wouldn't it be dangerous, Roll?" |

Tiamat saw Sarah exit the lab. She had ran downstairs when she heard the blast. Tiamat: Is she alright? Sarah: ... Tiamat, walking slowly closer: ...Sarah? Sarah: ...She... She died... Tiamat, in denial: ...No... She... She can't be dead... She survived worse... Sarah: I'm sorry. Tiamat rushed into the lab, and saw Vestra's body. She fell to her knees and cried harder than she ever had before in her life. |

"Fine...I wanted to go by myself anyway. And I didn't get those...because I wasn't built by Light." Heart-Man switched his right arm to his Item-2, and was quickly riding off towards the outpost in a matter of seconds. --- Roll was a little surprised someone had caught onto it. But, then again, it was a topic of conversation to keep them busy for a while. "Am I going to a dangerous place? Of course I am. But then again, ever since the Hacker's Rebellion...well, let's say I'm not such an innocent little girl anymore. Besides, there's almost no threat of being attacked here, so I might as well move to the field where I can offer more support." |

"I'm not an innocent little girl anymore-" "-And I hate that," Snake Man said quietly. Gemini Man also piped in. "You used to be such a sweet girl... Now..." He couldn't bring himself to finish. She had somehow been transformed into some chaotic good-fighter, with that foolish sword of hers... She didn't know it at the time, but it broke any robot's heart the moment they saw it. To them, it was a sign of pure hate and war, which turned their sweet little sister or cousin into a war machine. |
