Time's up.

Sebek shook his head as he scratched the back of his head with his sawed-off shotgun.

"Well, there's your first problem. Whatever, we know you aren't gonna hurt us, so your name can wait."
Shorde extended a gloved hand to Proto Man. He ought to be friendly if he was to aid him in the fight."My name's...well...you can call me Lotus. Now, how about that fight you were talking about?"

*Totally not turning into a Protoman*

Ground Man faltered and stumbled backwards. He was still somewhat heartbroken to be fighting his family- worse, it was his sister.

But he couldn't have his feelings get in the way.

Ground Man quickly grasped the sword with one of his huge hands, and bent it like a toothpick. He threw it off to the side.

'Good riddance, I hated that sword anyway.' he thought to himself. "You'll have to be smarter than that!"

(I figured you were in trouble or something anyway.
But...really, man? Damaging Virus like that is the equivalent of grabbing Mega Man's Buster Arm and just smashing it. It's a real cheap move--especially for early in the fight--and it sort of leaves me thinking, "Well, how the hell do I attack you now?
I'll try and work around it, but...seriously?)

Roll was shocked by Ground-Man's sudden action. No one was supposed to be as brave or dumb as to just swipe Virus straight from her, and surely no one was strong enough to bend its material like plastic!
Well, regardless of what happened, Roll knew she couldn't fight at all without some weapon, and she certainly wouldn't pose a threat unless she was wielding Virus. She quickly jumped away from Ground-Man--if she was to win this battle at all, she would need to take advantage of her agility--and made a careful, but hurried mad dash straight for the weapon.

Unfortunately, the sound waves Acoustic-Man was firing were starting to get to Roll--as she began her run, she was becoming rather disoriented. Her movements became a little slower and clumsier, and not five feet away from Virus, she tripped and fell over. Too dizzy to pick herself up again, she was in an even more vulnerable state than before.

Acoustic stopped, as Warp negated the gravity of all those around him, including Ground.

Warp Man: I should'a done this in the first place! It would have been a smarter move.

(Not trouble, just homework and overall laziness.)

Ground Man smirked. "Negating gravity around me... It only makes me swifter..."

Ground Man was right to an extent. He was a lot lighter- thus he was able to do quite a bit more. However, everyone's movements were slower, so he wasn't as fast as before.

Then he noticed Roll, on the floor. His eyes turned down in a sad state. Now he felt bad that he had taken her weapon and tossed it like a careless toy. He was never able to do things right...

"Urk... I-" he began.

Suddenly, he was hit by Dive Man's Torpedo Charge. He was sent sprawling.

"Eat this, scumbag!" Dive Man shouted, firing a Dive Missile.

Due to the low gravity, Ground Man bended backwards- and the missile went right over him. "I already ate." He fired a giant Spread Drill, sending Dive Man crashing through a concrete building.

(...Negating gravity means NO gravity, not low gravity... But I digress.)

Rythem: Everybody STOP F-CKING FIGHTING! NOW!!!

It took a minute for Roll to gather herself, but eventually she snapped back into focus. She was feeling rather light headed--strike that, everything was feeling light. She couldn't see a lot from where she was, but she noticed another group of Robots--one was using some strange space-based ability. Roll tried her hardest not to move--with no ceiling, one wrong move in zero gravity could send her skyrocketing upwards.
She heard one of them shout to stop fighting. Roll shook her head quietly--peacemakers in war always got the fury of both sides.

"Oh, shut up, you ass!" somebody shouted, firing a bolt of electricity.

A green robot with a dome on his head had appeared with a smirk. He walked up to Ground Man. "Why aren't they dead yet? Kill them all!"

Ground Man only pointed woefully to Roll.

"Roll? What are you doing here? You're supposed to be back with Light, I thought."

He then noticed the sword.

"Oh... Yes, right. Well, let's see how your combat has improved." He picked up the sword, and bent it back into position. "It pains me to fight my own cousin, but I suppose it is for the best... Your move," he said, revving up the top in his buster.

Roll breathed a quiet sigh of relief as she felt gravity shift back to normal. Now perhaps she could do some damage. She quickly stood up, to see Dynamo-Man bending Virus back to its original shape. It occurred to Roll that she hadn't really fought with Virus--or even bothered to see what made it such a powerful blade--since the fateful day she nearly killed Mega Man. Gee, maybe it was supposed to do that.

Nonetheless, she was still disarmed and needed to get her weapon back. Unfortunately, it was in Dynamo-Man's hand--and he was hard to rush. Still, she had to try before he could start barraging her with attacks--she dashed straight at Dynamo-Man, tucking in her shoulder for a weak, but swift tackle.

Rythem was quite pissed. Here they were, all these robots fighting wrecklessly, paying no attention to the world they're destroying!

Rythem: Damn it... How do I stop them?
Acoustic Man: If only we had Bright Man here, he'd stop 'em all in their tracks.
Cloak Man, invisible: We could only be so lucky.
Rythem: Yeah.

Dynamo Man swiftly sidestepped the tackle. "I believe this is yours." He handed the sword to Roll.

"Now, let's see what you can do, cousin..."

Roll quietly took the sword back from Dynamo-Man. Man, this was embarrassing. Not only was she being outclassed in strength, but also in speed and reactions--add the fact that she only used a sword, and her chances were starting to look really bad.

Still, it was her first battle, and she needed to give herself more of a chance. She carefully circled around Dynamo-Man, then quickly lunged forward, hoping to land a quick stab on them.

Dynamo Man dodged to the left easily. "Hmm. Your speed is actually rather commendable. I'm afraid it's no match for mine." He began shocking with electricity, and dashed around in a circle extremely fast, blurring around Roll. Suddenly, he bolted straight at her back, and knocked her forward.

"Roll, you must understand it pains me to do this, but it is my sworn duty." He fired the small top-like object at her, hitting he back a few inches.

"Well, some robots are on our side, some are on Wily's, i'll show you who's who...heres a databse of all the Wily robots..." said ProtoMan, handing him a type of touch-screen device. " Like my brother, MegaMan I am able to absorb and copy an opponent's ability, such as...puts up MetalMan's data. "MetalMan's MetalBlade."

Shorde stared at the device Proto Man had given him. He had never really used a lot of technology before, and this one sure looked helpful. He knew that The Blue One and a lot of his friends carried things like this with them...
...Did this mean it was his turn to be a hero?

Shorde attached the wristwatch to his glove. It fit nicely over the soft material his gloves were made of. "Thanks a million--I've never gotten to know about my opponents before fighting them. I'll review it on the way there."
Then he saw Proto Man flash suddenly and change colors. "I'll give ya that ya look different, but does that really affect your weapon at all?"
---
Roll was stunned--she could do nothing to dodge Dynamo-Man's powerful attacks. She slid forward, gritting her teeth in pain. A few bolts of lightning flew around her, one flying off of Virus itself.
Roll realized just how pathetic she was being--Dynamo-Man didn't want to defeat her--he was playingwith her--and she was still being injured already? Man, maybe it would've been better if she just stayed home--
No.
She just needed to change her approach.

She saw that if she kept rushing Dynamo-Man, the results would be the same--sidestep, counter-attack, subtle taunt. She needed to see how he would react to bringing the fight to her. With that, Roll started circling around Dynamo-Man once more, this time with no actual intent of attacking.

Dynamo Man smirked again. "I see you've noticied your first strategy didn't work... Good. Adaptability is a vital thing in combat."

He fired the top again, this time following Roll- fast.

Roll was becoming really frustrated at this point--Dynamo-Man, the enemy, was being friendly and acting as a teacher! The more he spoke, the more angry she would get--she wanted to prove, to her allies, to her enemies, even to herself, that she was a threat.

Without hesitation, Roll swiped in front of her, dissipating the top. She knew that such a small bullet with a solid core couldn't be that tough to destroy. Remembering to keep her attack going, she leaped into the air once more, this time angling herself to land directly on top of Dynamo-Man. It was only logical--the big, fragile glass dome had to be the weak point, right? Roll pointed Virus downwards below her, ensuring that she would do some damage if the attack worked.

Sebek remained silent.

---

Dynamite began raining down, exploding all around, and Dynamite Woman laughed like mad.

Rythem: Gah! Acoustic, Warp, take cover, I'll handle this!

He began tossing Antimatter Bombs at her.

"Yeah it does." A MetalBlade appeared in ProtoMan's hand, and he threw it at some trees, one blade cut down about 20 trees before peircing the ouutside bark of the 21st. "Sorry about the trees, but this blade can cut through almost anything."
