Shorde saw Proto Man rocketing towards him on what looked to be a hoverboard. He also noted he had changed colors yet again, to red and white. When Proto Man jumped off beside him, he said: "Why, you robots are just full of fancy tricks, ain't you?" and punched him in the arm. "Alright, that makes two of us that made it out..."
---
It was a really depressing thought to realize just how much Roll could possibly hate him. He only wanted to help out and prove he wasn't such a bad guy...to her especially. It seemed that at every possible turn, he was doing something that could only hurt her more...how was he supposed to win her trust?
Heart-Man sighed, and touched his forehead to his fingers. "Well," he mused, "I suppose it can't get a lot worse than this..."

Dynamite Woman: Just did.

She brought up the barrel of her dynamite launcher to the back of his head.

---

Paradox Woman had gone to the base, to rest for a bit. The rest of Rythem's bots were there as well. Paradox, wandering around, happened to go by Roll.

Paradox: Hey, Roll, wazzap?

Heart-Man knew he was in a dangerous situation immediately--a gun on the back of your head, regardless of what it shoots, is never a good thing. He didn't know exactly who he was speaking to, but he knew he needed to react. Now.
So he did the first thing that came to mind--he swung one leg out behind him, hopefully at least knocking his aggressor off-balance first. After this, he quickly whirled around, hoping to see who it was.
---
Roll saw a strange-looking Robot approaching her. At first, she didn't know who it was, but then she remembered--it was one of those Robots Mega Man had had to fight not-so-long ago. Like most other Robots built by someone who wasn't Wily, they had gone back to their normal service lives after being defeated. Roll was glad, but also a little irritated--what was this Robot's opinion of her?
She saw that for the moment, she merely wanted conversation. Roll lied immediately again--"Oh, nothing much. Say, I don't recall Dr. Light sending you guys in..."

Dynamite stumbled a little, and when she fired, the Dynamite Lob went right past his head.

Dynamite: Damn it!

---

Paradox: Light didn't, Rythem did. He put priority over protecting the Mobians over all else.

Yes, my attack worked! I can't believe I got so lucky... Heart-Man spun around and tackled into his aggressor, sending them sprawling to the ground. He casually walked over to them, and pinned them down with one foot--then he saw who they were.
"Hey! You're one of those new Robots Wily built while he was working on getting Coda out of prison! I must say, you looked to be some of the mad doc's better works on the news, but I still think you're no match for me. Oh, I'm sorry, where are my manners? Dr. Coda model HLR, Heart-Man. And you?"
---
Roll smiled. The Rythem Robots might be a tad out there, but they were always so selfless. "That's good to hear--I suppose we need all the help we can get out here, anyway. It seems you already know about me--but that's a little strange, considering you were built after my, well, fifteen minutes of 'fame.' Tell me, how have you come to know me?"

Dynamite: I'm Dynamite Woman, Wily Guardian no. 1.

She quickly threw several Dynamite Lobs into the air, and they came down, exploding all around them, and also hitting Dynamite, though she was immune to her own weapon.

---

Paradox: Not a whole lot, really... I just know how you have the capability to become quite powerful, and that you're cute.

"Mweheheheh! Wonderful. This is just the thing we need to send those furry things packing," Gravity Man said, looking at the ARK Colony. "Now, all we need to do is perfect the beam and make sure it wipes out everyone."

"Why not hook it up to the nova cannon?" Burst Man suggested. "It could easily reach up to there."

"Good idea. We'll transport the beam over to the outpost now. Call Charge Man to bring his train over here, pronto."

Vestra: ...You know, as a precaution, when I first fixed up the Eclipse Cannon on the ARK, I never actually intended to use it.
Crash: ...Huh?
Vestra: It's a cannon capable of destroying a planet, on an old space colony. In any case, I knew that eventually, someone might use it. So, I re-rigged the cannon to self-destruct instead of fire, though I never found out if I did it right.
Crash: Huh.

"Wo--oah!" Heart-Man was not severely hurt by the explosives, but they certainly shocked him enough to take his foot off of Dynamite-Woman. He stumbled backwards a couple steps, shocked by the waves from the explosions.
Heart-Man then opened up his weapon select, and quickly pondered what to use. He instantly decided the Regen Cannon would be a necessity--explosives can do a lot of damage, so it'll help keep him on his feet--but what operation tool should he use? The Welding Fist might do more damage, but if she was full of dynamite, setting her insides on fire might not be the brightest idea. He eventually settled once again for his Circle Saw, and stood at attention, carefully watching Dynamite's next move.
---
Roll blushed slightly. It was weird enough to be hearing a boy telling her she was cute, but a girl? That was just strange.
Desperately, she shifted the subject away from that. "Well, it wasn't exactly a happy time for us...I was hacked...I was stolen...I was hypnotized...and I nearly killed my brother...oh, Heart-Man's upstairs, he can tell you the whole story."

Paradox: Sounds pretty lousy... Yeah, let's go check that out.

---

Dynamite took a step back.

Dynamite: Uh-huh. A saw, eh? Nifty. Let's see if I can break it!

Dynamite began throwing many Dynamite Lobs at Heart, while stepping back.

Roll sighed. "It was...but it's a part of me now, so I just have to make the best of it." She took Paradox-Woman's hand, and led her up the stairs towards the rooftop.
---
"You've got quite a passion for destroying, huh, hothead? Well, I'm afraid I can't have you breaking this--it's important."
Heart-Man dodged to the left, to the right, keeping the Dynamite Lobs falling harmlessly off the building. There was one sailing right at him, though, and he knew he couldn't dodge it--so he experimented. Heart-Man quickly revved up his Circle Saw, and intercepted the Dynamite Lob as it approached him.

Obviously, the Dynamite Lobs were set to explode on contact with ANYthing. Dynamite continued throwing, as Paradox followed Roll upstairs.

Astro Man was looking over the Nova Cannon. He had recieved word that the bio-form eliminator was being shipped over, so he wanted to make sure that everything was all right.

What looked like a bunch of computer jargon was being transmitted to Astro Man's supercomputer. He carefully looked over line after line of coding when he noticed an odd one. A script read "self-destruct on y delete".

"Hmm. This code must mean that it will self destruct when fired..." He deleted it, then made sure there were any failsafes or backups. When all of the code that would carry out such an action was deleted, Astro whistled as he walked away.

Still, he wondered who could have hacked it...
---
"How are we looking, Shade? Remember, this thing's gotta get on right," Charge Man shouted.

"Mwheheh, good. It's been loaded on correctly."

"All righty, let's get rolling." He shifted the throtle forward, and began his journey to the Wily Outpost.

Meanwhile, on the ARK...

Advancing towards the core were two hedgehogs, both green, brother and sister, both carrying powerful pump-action shotguns. Eyrie and Ositsho got word that some robots got on the ARK, and now they were going to take 'em out.

(Prevention Fail...both the survivors and the Eclipse Cannon are stationed on the ARK. Self-destruct actually would've been the right way to deal with them.)
(When I said "Goodnight, Mobius," I meant for whoever might happen to be on it. Ah, at least they don't have the Chaos Emeralds to power the thing.)
(...Magnet, if they have those, I think I am going to stab you. ANYWAYS...)

Heart-Man did not get the result he expected. Instead of disarming the Dynamite Lob, it exploded on him. Shrapnel pierced his armor lightly, and his Circle Saw got knocked off its hinges. He couldn't rev it up anymore, so it was useless for now--he switched back to a normal hand.
Heart-Man saw that Dynamite was not letting up on her attack. "Come on! Is that the only offense you were programmed with?" He ducked and tried to dash under their attacks.
---
It was then that Roll reached the rooftop. She was confused to see Heart-Man fighting with someone--and it was more confusing to see who he was fighting with? Wasn't that one of the Guardians from the Nega Rebellion? How was she on her feet again so soon?
She could only think of one thing to do. "HEY!!! What's going on out here?!"

(Vestra programmed the self destruct long before the mass teleportation system. Also, Vestra was pretty sure that nobody on the ARK would be stupid enough to use it.)

Paradox: What the- I'll handle this!

Paradox charged Dynamite, and caught her off guard. The two got into a fistfight, with Paradox having the upper edge.

(I'm just saying to Magnet...how are you going to get the Space Colony to shoot itself?)

"I...I don't know. I'm sorta standing around waiting for him." Shorde muttered. "I sure hope he made it out..."
---
"...Oh...it looks like you've got this one...I guess that's alright..." Roll quietly watched from the corner of the rooftop. She didn't want to get involved in this tight, high-stake struggle.
---
When Heart-Man heard Roll's voice, he was shocked out of the heat of battle--he clumsily tripped and fell off to the side. Damn it, his fighting mind was a lot like his operating mind--can't focus unless someone's distracting you. When he regained his focus, he saw that another female robot had taken up the fight against Dynamite--while he was relieved to get a breather, he couldn't be sure if they would win. He quietly walked over to stand beside Roll.

Soon enough, Paradox landed a particularly hard hit that caused Dynamite to stumble, and slowly start falling off of the side of the building.

Dynamite: ...Oh shiiiiIIII-

Just as she fell off, she felt someone catch her leg, stopping her fall.

Paradox: ...

Paradox then brought Dynamite back onto the roof.

(Oh, crap, I thought it was on Mobius.
Poop. Time to change it to a generic cannon.)

"Ugh, bloody explosives... Hey, I'm trapped!" Sword Man shouted.
---
The train rolled along, passing across the city now. The cannon was concealed by a tarp over it.

It was fairly visible from the roof, and Charge Man and Shade Man were viewing the battle from there. "Hmm... Something is going on down there, Shade. Wanna check it out while I bring this thing over?"

"Vhy? I'm not getting involved."

"Well, whatever- wait a sec, who's that girly nurse person? Is that... Heart Man?!"

"I thought you killed him."

"Same here... Ugh, that guy is annoying. Come on, no time to lose."
