(Yeah, I can only hope you're ignoring it on purpose.
Also, just want to be sure--no one's interested in being another Coda Robot, right?)

It was a mutual quiet day amongst the Coda Robots. The sports season was ending; very few things happened at the toxic waste dump; there was no gig to attend tonight...all of the Coda Robots were unoccupied. So instead of doing their typical job, they were laying down, relaxing, and doing what they all were built to do well--thinking.
That is, they were until a radio frequency buried itself into their heads.

With varying degrees of speed and happiness in doing so, the Coda Robots eventually made their way to Dr. Light's Lab, where Heart-Man was waiting patiently for them. He directed them all inside, and when they were all settled, Heart-Man entered the lounge after them. "Make this quick, brother Heart-Man," Tide-Man said with an edge of irritation, "you never know when the military could need me."
"Trust me, this is way more important than the military. As I'm sure you've been following the news like smart Robots--" there was a simultaneous nodding of the head all throughout the room-- "I'm sure you know about the attacks Dr. Wily has been launching on Mobius. Well...I'm here to report that Dr. Wily, at the moment, has succeeded with those attacks. Due to the nasty and unexpected bringing in of a particularly annoying dinosaur, Wily has injured and captured almost all of Dr. Light's forces. He's agreed to give them back if we retreat--and we had no choice. Dive-Man and the other, like, five people left are somewhere in this lab."
"And you're telling us this, why, again?" Fog-Woman said with the raise of an eyebrow. "Dr. Light doesn't trust us. Not that I can blame him..."
"Personally, if things are as bad as they are, he'll have no choice. About five people have stayed behind to hold them off--but who knows how long they'll hold? Wily could have us in a pincer soon--he might actually win, guys, and lord knows what that would mean for us. But remember--Wily's main advantage lies in his numbers. What do we got that makes us great? I'm sure I don't need to tell you the answer. So, it would mean a lot to me--it would mean a lot to this world, both worlds--if you would help us fend off Wily's invasion. Now, who's with me?"
There was a long silence. Heart-Man stood quiet, letting his words sink into them. He could only hope he'd broken the ice--his brothers enjoyed their jobs very much, and he was unsure if they'd leave them and pick up their guns again. Wire-Man was the first one to stand from his chair and speak. Everyone could guess what he would say--"It is the best way to be helpful to society. I will help you, brother, and I will in any way I can."
"I second that notion!" Shouted Blackout-Man from his corner of the room. "No one's going to want to party if they know Wily's going to be marching the streets soon!" Heart-Man smiled as he watched the agreement spread across the room--he knew he could always count on his siblings. Poison-Man was the last one to stand.
"Brother...I hate you. I hate you more than anyone else I've ever known. I even hate you more than Mega Man. But even I can see through my dumb hate, and tell you this...you're absolutely right. Let's go show these freakshows what superior quality is all about!"
Heart-Man smiled--if Poison-Man was agreeing with him, he had to be right. "Come on, brothers and sister, let's go get you suited up for battle." With that, the Dr. Coda siblings left Dr. Light's Lab and quickly reached the facility where Heart-Man worked on a typical basis--Loose Ends Hospital, tending to both humans and robots alike.
---
Shorde was shocked at the girl's disposition. What did she have to be so unhappy about? "Hey, don't be like that! You've picked up a fine form of combat and even a style of art--you just need a little practice, is all."
This seemed to do a good job of cheering her up. "...You--you really think so?"
"I know so! Hey, you may be robots, but that doesn't mean you have to be perfect at everything as soon as you pick it up! Tell you what--soon as it's relatively safe outside, you and I can get into a practice spar together. How's that sound?"
She did not respond, but she smiled and nodded her head. Keeping his hand on her shoulder, Shorde led her back to where the other three Robots that stayed behind were--only to see that the number of Robots still present was now two. Oh, well, it was like Proto Man to disappear.
"Well, are you two girls relatively busy? 'Cause if not, I have some important data I need to pass on before we do anything else."

(Doh, it was Cloak Man on the train.
Whoops.)

"All right, Wily, give us our guys back."

"Hold on, Dive Man. I will return your soldiers, but I'm having complications with my teleport system. Give me a moment..."

"All right, fine. You've got until 2:00 PM."

Dive Man shut the communicator off.
---
"Wahahaha! Perfect! Now all I have to do is destroy the base, which will knock out their teleport systems back here! No more 'Light Army' to deal with!" Wily cackled gleefully. "Gravity Man, send out the missiles!"

"With pleasure." Gravity Man said, pressing in a few numbers. He set a radio frequency to Charge Man's train.

"Ready the missile car, Charge Man."

"Roger that."

Pulling a lever on a nearby control panel, a train car in the back openend up, and fired a 5 large missiles, aimed torward Light's previous outpost.

(When did she get on the train...?
Oh, right, never mind.)

The missiles made contact with the base, and it exploded in a spectacular fashion. That had officially ended Light's occupation on the planet, and now, Mobius was firmly in Wily's control. "Base has been taken out. Light's done for here."

Gravity Man smirked. "Heh heh heh heh... Wonderful."
---
Back at Light's lab, Dive Man was waiting impatiently for Wily to send back his men. He was sitting in the teleport room, when he noticed the lights above them were red. Usually, they were supposed to be blue, meaning an entry point, or a Point B, was established, and it was able to return to Mobius. Red meant that all teleportation was cut off.

"I can't believe it... Wily tricked me!"

Cloak Man watched as the missles destroyed the base. This was NOT good, not good at ALL. If only he had the ability to rewire the missiles, then he could have had them take out Wily's base instead-

That's it!

He send a silent message to Rythem.

(...Um, hello? Did everyone just ignore me?)

Shorde was very calm at the moment--after all, he thought the base was secure. The last thing he expected was a missile plowing right into the side of the building.
Of course, given the combined bad luck of the people inside it, that was exactly what happened.

Shorde picked himself up out of the gravel of the building, coughing and sputtering. At least he was alive, but...damn it, explosives hurt. And so did rubble, for that matter.
"Well, there goes one half of my brilliant plan...now, let's see how else we're screwed. Hello?! Did anyone else survive that?!"

(Yeah, they were.)

Ugh, what the hell just happened...? One second, Roll was being comforted by a new friend...the next, she was being shot at before she could even get his name.
Roll found herself laying underneath a large pile of wreckage--from the building, no doubt. Try as she might, she was not strong enough to move out from underneath it, so her only chance was to get someone else's attention. If anyone else survived, that is. Desperately, Roll tried to shout for help.

(Oh, right, sorry.)

Dynamite slowly got up, a little damaged and sore from the blast. However, she was built to withstand such things, so she didn't have any severe injuries.

Dynamite: Ugh... The hell just happened?

She looked around, and noticed a pile of rubble had an arm sticking out of it.

Dynamite: Paradox!

Dynamite ran over and began digging her out.

"Roll, that you? Hold on, I've got ya!"

A Ratton, who apparently stayed behind, started to dig her out.

As Shorde looked around at the rubble, he was relieved to see at least one other person stand up. Good, at least I'm not the only one who's still alive. Shorde quietly walked over to them, and upon closer inspection, he saw it was one of the womanly robots he was just attempting conversation with--and they were pulling on an arm. "Hey, now, don't pull too hard, you might wind up ripping their arm off. Now, is there some way I can assist you?"
---
"I have no doubt you remember where your things are, but please follow me. We wouldn't want to disturb someone." Heart-Man quietly entered the hospital, and eventually came to a quiet storage room with eight electric boxes in it.
Loose Ends Hospital was a bit of a home to the Coda Robots--they didn't really have a home, and they certainly didn't want to go back to the ruins of Dr. Coda's Terminal where they were built, so this was a home for them. This empty room was now their storage room, where they would store their parts when they weren't in use. Each one was marked with a symbol that showed which Dr. Coda sibling it belonged to--Heart-Man's had a red cross, Fog-Woman's had a cloud, and so on.

Now, each sibling quietly walked to their respective box and firmly planted their hand on top of their symbol--and the boxes sprung open. Almost all of them were simply filled with their weapon parts--all except Heart-Man's, which was currently full of more surgery tools than you could shake a Search Snake at.
The Dr. Coda siblings grimly attached their weapons to their chassis--it felt good to be armed, but it also reminded them of their times of being villains. How bittersweet. Meanwhile, Heart-Man quietly detached his Circle Saw and set it beside his box--he would have to find time to repair it before he went back.

Dynamite: I got this!

Soon enough, the rubble on Paradox was cleared off. However, she seemed to be pretty badly damaged.

Dynamite: Oh my god... Paradox, are you okay?!
Paradox: Agh... I'm... Okay... Ish...

Frequent RPer and has a continuation story of a dead Private RP.
Is that a missile heading for DiveMan's base? ProtoMan thought. "Wily's symbol...oh NOOOOOO!!!!" ProtoMan yelled as the builing blew up. "Wily you sonofoa......" ProtoMan silently cursed. "If I follow the smoke trail...hmmm the coordinaates are a moving train, well if MegaMan can teleport onto a moving train than so can I." ProtoMan said as he teleported to the train.

"Well, that makes three of us that are still alive...I guess that leaves only one of us." As the rubble cleared and Shorde got a good look at the other woman, he could instantly tell that they didn't look well. If he had been under that much weight, he probably would've looked the same way. "Well, you aren't looking so great...you think you can stand?"
It was then that Shorde heard a scratching noise. He instantly whirled towards it, and saw a giant mouse-shaped robot scratching at a pile of debris. It was clear that its animal instinct was better than his, so it had to have some reason--perhaps the last person was underneath all that metal and concrete. Shorde walked over to the pile of rubble, and helped the mouse-robot dig.
---
Piece by piece, Heart-Man equipped all of his surgery equipment. Every piece weighed him down a bit more, and by the time he had it all on and picked up his Circle Saw, he silently promised himself he would never complain about lack of supplies again. Without a word, he walked away towards another room.
The room was a bit of a workshop for repairing individual parts of a robot. In the corner was a huge heap of scrap metal, wires, and other various doo-dads, and a large furnace dominated the side opposite where you came in. Heart-Man quietly set his Circle Saw on a work table, picked up a heap of scrap metal, and set about his work.

After touching up the connectors that kept the Saw attached to his arm, Heart-Man fixed up the mechanism that allowed the blade to be revved with some wires and his Welding Fist. Quite an easy fix, really. After making sure his oil-and-coolant system would be able to reach the blade properly, all Heart-Man had to do was test it. He attached the Circle Saw to his left arm, and set about the usual command--
Vrm, vrrrrm.
Sounding like a chainsaw murderer had never been so satisfying.

Satisfied with his work, Heart-Man walked out to the lobby, waiting for the injured army to enter.

Dynamite helped Paradox up.

Paradox: I'm alri-

She instantly stumbled, and Dynamite caught her.

Paradox: Or not.
Dynamite: Don't worry, we'll get you fixed up, you'll be alright... Just... Just don't die on me, okay?
Paradox: Alright, I won't do that.

Toad Man wallowed in first. He had suffered minor injuries, but he was clearly distraught about something.

"I have puncture wounds and a little oil lossage. Dive Man said I was first."

"Hey, where are the others? I'd expect a mob, not a line...seriously, weren't there, like, forty of you guys out there?
"Well, follow me...I'll get you started right away." Heart-Man led Toad-Man back to an empty operations room, and promptly switched him off--the sooner he was powered off, the less oil he would lose. Heart-Man grabbed a solid cube of metal and some plastic tubing for their oil system, and set to work on repairing him.
---
After a couple minutes of digging, Shorde saw a familiar red glove sticking out from the pile of rubble. "Hey, lady! You're able-bodied; get over here! We've got the last one over here!"

She lightly let Paradox down, and rushed over.

Dynamite: Alright, I'm on it.

She began clearing the rubble.

The other four that came back started to come inside, and so did the robots from the 4th and 6th Rebellions. They all took seats in the hall.

All of them seemed pretty glum after being beaten. They also heard the bad news from Dive Man. Many of them were muttering to themselves.
