Fake Man regarded him with a cold stare. "I'm afraid that will have to be confidential until we reach the police station." He slightly quickened his pace. "Any run-ins with the police, recently? I know your record hasn't been paticularly perfect among us." --- "Well, first, we gotta get you in handcuffs..." Dark Man replied. "We have to make sure that it seems like we beat you. Otherwise, Wily won't exactly be very happy- and that might mean banishment from the teleport room," Dark Man 2 explained. |

"Whatev'," Blackout-Man muttered as he walked along with Fake-Man. "And, thanks for asking, but I haven't even been to a decent gig in about a week or so. The news is depressing, man--even more than usual--so not a lot of people are in the mood for a party..." --- "I thought you'd say that...if you'd like, you can rough me up a bit to look like we actually fought; it might not look so good bringing in a perfect-condition fighter. In addition...you can keep that slash, and say I gave you it. We might pull this off as a convincing fight..." Heart-Man switched his weapons out for normal hands again, and held them out in front of him. |

Dark Man 2 stepped up. He was the only one with two hands, and he wanted to make it look real. "All right, let's get ready to rumble!" he shouted, sending a not-so-hard punch to Heart Man's left jaw. The other Dark Men started to rough up the others. --- Fake Man thought he regarded being taken by the police as a good thing, and chuckled a bit. "Well, not much we can do there. Though at least the police aren't as frantic." The police station was in sight. Fake Man started to jog over, and got to the door. "Wait here," he ordered Blackout Man. He went inside. A bunch of voices could be heard, greeting him. He didn't seem to pay attention. The voices were all quiet once again. 7 minutes later, Fake Man emerged, carrying a broken, oily, crushed object. The other policemen stared awkwardly, but didn't try to stop him. Fake Man was chief; what he said went. He carefully laid the body on the ground, and sighed. "Blackout Man, here's your brother." |

Heart-Man took the blows with dignity. If he weren't faking being in a fight, he would've been laughing as he took them. He motioned for his siblings to come over and get themselves chained up, but they quietly shook their heads. "On the contrary," Fog-Woman said, "we've gotta wait for Blackout and Fake to get back here with whatever-it-is-they-wanted." His siblings all really wanted to go, though; they hoped he would return quickly... --- "...Well, at least you were considerate enough to keep the corpse around." Blackout-Man quietly looked over the hunk of metal that used to be his brother. The chassis was clearly unsalvageable; nothing that could be done about that. For the fight to have even been won, his fuel tanks would have to be completely empty--and brewing Fire Wall's flame substance without having it blow up in your face wasn't exactly easy. Still, though...was there any form of his brother in there? "So this is what Fire Wall's fate was...I've got two really dumb questions for you, Fake-Man. One; how bad are the damages to his memory chip? Two...where on Earth did you find him?" |

"Memory chip was taken out before the punishment and it suffered no extreme damage. And, well... We found him lying in the street on the outskirts of Monsteropolis. We recognized him as a criminal of the war, and..." Fake Man's eyes started to well up. "...We, under the mayor's ordering, were to punish him for his war crimes- badly. And we did just that... I should know. I'm the one who was told to carry it out..." Fake Man wiped a tear from his eye. He slowly picked the body up, and started back to the group without a word. 10 minutes later, Fake Man was back. He laid the broken body before the six others. "Here's who I had to get. His name is Fire Wall." |

Blackout-Man realized he should probably say something. He put a hand on Fake-Man's shoulder, trying to steady him. "Hey, man, don't cry. Then I'm gonna cry, and you're gonna cry, and it's not gonna be fun for any of us...besides, if anyone in the world can extract our brother from that hunk'a'junk, it's going to be brother Heart-Man. What he said was right...you did the right thing." --- "Yes," Fog-Woman said, "we know the name of our eldest brother. Hey, Heart-Man, come take a look at this!" Heart-Man turned away from the Dark-Man giving him some blunt injuries--and, conveniently enough, a well-placed kick sent him sailing to land beside his siblings. After picking himself up off the ground and a quick look at what once was Fire Wall, his speech was brief--"Delete-Man, run this chassis back to Loose Ends. Fake-Man, could you put the memory chip in my storage? I'd like to tinker around with it later." Heart-Man was already in shackles, so he couldn't accomplish these things himself. "Alright, come on you guys, it's time to pose as prisoners of war." |

Fake Man did as he was told, then was also roughed up by a Dark Man. "How ironic for a police officer to be put in handcuffs..." he muttered in wry amusement. Thus, they started a mass exodus of robots, heading torward their 'impending doom'. |

Seconds later, Delete-Man showed himself back at the scene. He quickly fell into line, and then the Robots were sent on their way. Most of them were focused on getting back ahead in the war. The most notable exception being Heart-Man. His mind was a million miles away, thinking about how he now held his brother's memory chip. The only chance at rebuilding his brother was stored somewhere inside...he couldn't die now; he counted for two lives. He just wondered how soon he'd have the resources to build Fire Wall a new chassis. |

OOC: When is the train gonna get into Wily's base? IC: ProtoMan was still hanging on the side fo the train and noticed it slowing down. "I guess were here." ProtoMan thought. |

Meanwhile... Vestra: Screw this! I can just use the Eclipse Cannon, GREATLY dial down the output, and take this damn dino out! |

Heart-Man and his siblings put on grim, defeated faces. They would suggest that they're thinking about their fate--and the ironic thing is, they were, but not in the way it looked. Heart-Man thought he could see the castle in the distance, but he didn't have the best long-distance eyesight... --- Shorde bounced off of the dinosaur; his attack appeared to do nothing for the moment. "I'm not an expert on history, here, but doesn't the Eclipse Cannon need the Chaos Emeralds to be as devastating as it typically is? Besides, that seems so out there...how would you reach the space station?" |

Vestra: Well, first, doesn't need the chaos emeralds, just a powerful enough power source, of which I have. I also have the passcode to it, so it won't blow up. And, finally, I'm able to use it remotely. Of course, it's power level is REALLY low, and while it should take out the Dino, it'll take a REALLY long time to recharge. |

King Gojulos didn't give much time to answer. The dino nearly stepped on Vestra as it continued its rampage, while Slash Man kept hacking away at Sebek. "You've got a lot of moxie trying to challenge me!" he shouted. |

Sebek smirked, and suddenly rushed at Slash Man, and did a flip-jump, culminating in having him do a sort of back-flip-kick at Slash Man. |

"Damn it!" Shorde slid backwards from the shockwave, luckily out of harm's way from the behemoth. Attacking the dinosaur as it was was useless; he had to take out its rider. Hopefully, that would make the beast clumsy, discoordinated, and, well, capable of being hurt. Considering that Shorde wasn't much of a climber, he needed to find another way on top of the metal beast--so he dashed into a nearby building, and frantically looked around for a staircase. --- They had been walking for a good while, it seemed. Given the combined distance of the Robot crew and the Dark-Men, it seemed they should've been there by now, but it seemed Dr. Wily's Castle was nowhere to be found. Finally, Tide-Man could take it no longer--"Are we there yet?" --- Roll quietly hung back, watching the battle. It seemed the fight was cluttered enough as it was, and she didn't want to get in the way. It seemed she would be most helpful if she let the others handle this fight...but she couldn't help but feel a little angry seeing all the destruction King Gojulus had caused. |

Slash Man got a kick square in the face. He slid back a bit, then sliced the Shotgun Buster, rendering it useless. "Let's see how you battle without that puny gun!" --- "Pipe down! We're nearly there," Dark Man 2 called. That claim held to be true. In less than five minutes, they reached the castle. Summoning up a great look of authority and pride, Dark Man knocked on the door. |

The slice did not actually cut the gun; It was designed to be very, VERY difficult to destroy. Vestra knew what she was doing when she designed that gun. Sebek parried the strike, and pressed a hidden button on the shotgun, and a fencing blade came out of it. He brought up his hand and gave the universal "come at me, bro" sign. |

A hush fell over the Robots; they hoped their appearance would be good enough to fool Wily. Well, most of them were hushed. "Ugh, more waiting?" Fog-Woman muttered to herself. "I came out here to break heads and save planets for my little bro--why is there so much walking in this equation?" --- It took him a while, but eventually, Shorde found a staircase. Tired from sprinting around to find it, he quietly ascended it, wondering from which story it would be easiest and safest to jump onto the dino-bot from. |

Slash Man just groaned. "What a killjoy! Get off of my dinosaur!" He angrily sent Sebek tumbling down Gojulos' tail. "We're done here! My ole dino-buddy is going back where he belongs!" He turned the monstrous dinosaur around, then ran back to Wily's outpost. |

As Shorde was walking up the staircase, he glanced out the window--and saw the dinosaur moving from its location. He couldn't jump on it if it didn't stay where it was; he needed to move now. Filled with the sudden energy known as motivation, Shorde surged his way to the roof of the building. He singled out Slash-Man and his dinosaur with his eyes, and called out to him: "Hey, Chief Ancient History!" Shorde held his blade high above his head. "There's one more person here who wants a fight...and they're willing to beat you at your own game!" |
