"I-is that the h-hospital Dr. Light was t-talking about?" Signal Man stuttered.

"Think so. It is labelled Loose Ends, if my eyes aren't failing me," Beaker Man said.

"What are we waiting for, then? Let's get down there," Shuttle Man said.

"I thought we were waiting for everyone to get here, and Watt Man's nowhere to be found," Gust Man said.

Sleet Man jerked a thumb behind him.

There was Watt Man, struggling up the hill they were standing on. "I apologize, comrades. I am not built for running..."

"Neither am I, and I got up this hill five minutes earilier than you," Lift Man said.

"Oh, stop arguing. Let's just go to that hospital," Hose Man said irritably. They all started to walk down the hill, torwards the hospital.

Heart-Man just smiled back at him. "Welcome back to life...Pyro-Man."
"Brother, that has not been my name for the longest of times...why do you call me that? How far along through the castle is that despicable Mega Man? And why have you made these modifications to me? Dr. Coda will be--"
Heart-Man politely cut him off. "Oh, I'm sorry. I guess the first thing to tell you is we don't belong to Dr. Coda anymore. In our intelligence, we saw how uncivil and terrible the things we'd all done were...in addition, Mega Man got through our Terminal months ago. Too bad you weren't around to see the final battle. And, well, your modifications...you've been dead for months, Pyro-Man, and I saw it fit to bring you back with a mind equal to our own."

Pyro-Man just looked at his hands, barely comprehending what he heard. "I...I've been dead? And--and if these are my hands...where are my weapons now?"
"In due time, Pyro-Man; your weapons shall be built soon enough. You may not remember this, but you were essentially captured and killed by the police force...we only recently learned of it. I should've brought you back sooner. Follow me, and carry that schematic of you with you."
Not one to argue with his brother, especially after receiving new gifts, Pyro-Man picked up the blueprint and quietly followed him.
---
"I'm not sure what to tell you about your buster, but sure, we can go back for your shield! It's not like we're in immediate danger here in the enemy's base or anything!" Not sure quite how much of that he meant, Shorde quickly dashed over to the next wall and barraged it with his blade.

They all stopped about ten feet away from the door. Everybody was pointing as to who should go up first. "I don't like doctors. Count me out," Beaker Man said.
"I don't think my crane will fit," Lift Man said.
"My feet are tired from all the walking," Watt Man said, rubbing them.
"I feel like I'm going to threaten him with the busters on my arms..." Gust Man said quietly. "Sleet Man can't go for obvious reasons."
"We should probably pick the most friendly of the group," Shuttle Man suggested.

They all looked at Signal Man simultaneously.

"Oh, f-fine! I'll d-do it..." He cautiously walked up the door, looked back at his comrades, and peered through a porthole. "I see Heart Man, guys... but he's w-with-"

He gasped, and sunk to the floor. "I-It's F-Fire Wall! H-he's in there!"

"Fire Wall?" Watt Man said. "The very notion is ridiculous! He was lynched by the police force months ago!"

"H-he's i-in there, I k-know it! My eyes d-don't decieve m-me!"

"Oh, move over you sissy," Beaker Man said. He peered through the port hole himself. "Huh. He's right. Fire Wall is in there. He doesn't have any weapons, though. I guess it would be safe to meet him-"

"Safe!? That guy was a nightmare! At least, from my databanks, he was. Horrendusly charred bodies, freakish forest fires... All his work!" Watt Man shouted in disgust.

"Wait a sec... Oh, oh, I got it. Guys... he's Heart Man's brother."

"Brother? I'd hate to see the rest of his family," Lift Man joked.

"Yeah, he is. He's one of the first Robot Masters- well, kind of- Coda built," Beaker Man explained.

"W-well, w-what should we d-do?" Signal Man asked nervously.

Beaker Man looked down at the shivering robot. "You've always wanted to meet him, right?"

"W-what are y-you-"

Before he could say it, he was shoved inside by the robot, and the door was quickly closed. "Ack! You piece of-"

He turned around, and noticed the two were staring at him. "O-oh n-n-no...."

"Well, is it safe to assume that this guy is our friend if we're good guys, now?"
"Indeed, Pyro-Man. He's new to the Dr. Light series, and supposedly going to help us out in Mobius. To be honest, it's not going as well as it could over there--you, too, have also been brought back partially with the intention of assisting there."
"Brother Heart-Man...I would do anything to repay you for reviving me with these wonderful upgrades."

Heart-Man smiled as he heard that; it was great to see that his brother was happy with his upgrades. Upon finding that the one that had been labeled Signal-Man was still standing there stuttering in front of him, he turned his efforts toward him. Taking his hand slowly, he started leading him and Pyro-Man off towards a weapons workshop. "Welcome to Loose Ends Hospital. My name is Heart-Man; is there a Robotic friend of yours you need me to fix?"

(The main emotions you can expect from Pyro-Man as of right now are probably curiosity and nervousness.)

"Uh... N-no, actually, Dr. Light simply t-told us to r-report to here to c-come get you and y-your f-friend," he said, staring a bit uneasily at Fire Wall.

Then he remembered the callsigns they were supposed to give. "LAS-004, Signal Man, at your service!" he called, saluting.

Unfortunately, he accidently brought his signal hand up instead, and he cut his face and helmet on it. "Ow!" he yelped, clutching his helmet. He shook it off, then resumed his stance, oil dripping down both his signal and his face. "OK, p-perhaps you can f-fix that..." he muttered.
---
"What is he doing in there? Is he burnt to a crisp?" Lift Man asked nervously.

"Well, I didn't hear any signs of pain... except for that 'Ow,'" Watt Man said.

"Well, come on, we better go get him," Gust Man sighed.

The seven others entered the hospital, their weapons ready if needed. "Hello? Signal Man? You all right?" Watt Man called out cautiously.

(Gah, I wrote Signal Man's serial number wrong)

Heart-Man allowed himself a small chuckle upon seeing his new ally salute with his sword. "Hehe...I didn't think you new folks would be injured already, but I stand corrected! I guess I'd better fix that up quickly." Leading him to sit down in the lobby, Heart-Man produced a piece of scrap metal from one of his many tools, and quickly patched Signal-Man's injury--first, the oil lines, then the chassis.
---
Pyro-Man, without much else to do, addressed the angry-looking people gathering at the door leading outside. He had never been outside, but he knew of it--it looked like he expected, from what he saw through the doorway.
"W-welcome to Loose Ends Hospital," he said, trying to imitate the same cheerful tone his brother had used, "bro--Doctor Heart-Man is a little busy at the moment; what do you require of us?"

Meanwhile, at the lab, Paradox and Dynamite were waiting around, for something to do.

"Oh, we're just looking for a friend of ours, Mr... Fire Wall, I presume?" Watt Man inquired. He scanned him over- he had no weapons on him. Perhaps Beaker Man was correct that he was friendly.

"Have you seen a robot with railroad signals on him?" Beaker Man said, looking into the hospital. "He went in here searching for the doctor you were describing... I hope that bumbling fool hasn't already injured himself."

"We'll just take seats in the lobby, Mr. Fire Wall. Thanks for the warm reception," Lift Man said. Thus, they decided to sit down, looking around at all the new things they've never seen or felt- lights, tiled floors, plush seats. "This hospital must be pretty big..." Gust Man said quietly to Sleet Man. He nodded. He looked around as well as his eyes settled on a picture. There was the doctor, surrounded by many other robots. His eyes settled on one of them- a female one. His eyebrows took on a confused look, and suddenly his internal temperature rised. His cheeks started to flush. He shook off the feeling, putting his temperature back down.

"Sleet Man? You all right?" Gust Man asked, a little worried.

He only nodded.

Time's up.

Paradox and Dynamite were chatting about recent events.

Paradox: So, what was it like, serving under Wily?
Dynamite: Well, it was... Um... It was like I was a soldier, or something.
Paradox: A soldier?
Dynamite: Wily only cared for our combat value. I... Never really liked him much because of that.
Paradox: Even though he created you?
Dynamite: ...
Paradox: Sorry.

(Not sure if noticing Splash-Woman or Roll...)

Heart-Man looked up from Signal-Man's fully repaired injury to see other Robots--some he knew were with him, some he assumed were with him--entering. "His name is Pyro-Man now," he said calmly. "He's got the same intelligence as everyone else here, and you have no right to refer to him as that derogatory name."
He then realized that it would probably be good to show respect. "Oh, my apologies, where are my manners? I am Coda Model HLR, Heart-Man, and this is where I work. I assume you all are in good health, although your friend proved me wrong for one of you. He cut himself with his blade when he saluted to me...you guys sure know how to make first impressions."
"In any case, I have recently resurrected brother Pyro-Man from the ashes he burned himself, and I still need to construct his weapons. Is there something you need me for?"

"I apologize. That was the name we were programmed with. Sorry, Mr. Pyro Man," Watt Man said. "And yes, Signal Man can be a bit high-strung and nervous at times, but he's got a good head on his shoulders. We were told to wait here for you to finish with him, and we're supposed to bring you back. I'm not exactly sure why were told this, though..."

"Hmm... I must say, your engineering is far from primitive, you two. Built recently?" Beaker Man asked causually. "I'm aware you were made by a man named Coda... Doesn't sound like the most cheerful man."

Heart-Man took a second to look at them. "It's awfully refreshing to hear someone say things like this to me. 'I didn't know' is like music to my ears...although, I suppose it shouldn't be. It's just odd to meet someone who doesn't have a predisposition to hate me. Pyro-Man, be a dear and utilize your new mental processor to tell them the story, would you?" He stood up, and strode towards the weapons workshop down the hallway. "For reference, this all took place two Rebellions before you were built!"

Pyro-Man regarded the group oddly. There was no doubt that he recollected the events, but how much would he be able to tell them? "Well..." he said with a sigh, "Dr. Coda would be a good place to start. And you're right; he's far from the most cheerful man."
---
(Fast-forwarding through this part because that story's been told once before.)

Due to Pyro-Man taking longer than it should've taken to tell the story of the Hacker's Rebellion, it was no sooner than he finished that Heart-Man emerged, carrying two cannons with flame decals, two Plasma Pistols, and a fuel tank full of gasoline and propane. Stopping briefly to shed his advanced surgery equipment, he proceeded toward Pyro-Man at a quick pace, and installed the devices quickly.
As soon as he was educated on proper use of the weapons menu and given a copy of the Item 2 from Heart-Man, both Heart-Man and Pyro-Man returned to regarding the people who had come to get them. "Well, let's get to it, I suppose."

"Mmmm... Very thorough story," Watt Man said solemnly.

"I liked the part about Poison Man. Sounded like he was a law-abiding citizen," Beaker Man said jokingly. "Then again, all of you seem to have accomplished similar objectives..." he then added, a tad quieter.

"Yes, let's get moving. Might as well not keep the Doctor waiting," Gust Man said. They walked out of the building, and back towards the Light Labs. Most of them were silently conversing among each other. "I'm quite suprised that these fellows were built months earlier... They sure do look advanced," Lift Man whispered quietly.

"W-well, that d-doesn't mean they f-function advanced," Signal Man muttered. "T-the Pyro Man guy l-looks a l-little old."

"Do remember that these are our allies- and so are many older models," Watt Man said. "We can't just be rude to them."

"Right. They are allies, no matter how old," Hose Man agreed. "Hmmm... fresh air. Smells beautiful, though I can pick up just the slightest hint of gasoline and exhaust. It's a shame this place has been polluted."

"Shame? All this fresh air smells horrible," Beaker Man commented. "I kind of prefer a hint of gasoline to balance it out."

"Light Labs, right up ahead," Shuttle Man said. "Come on, you slowpokes! I want to see what Mobius looks like!" He raced off, while the others ran to catch him.

Heart-Man and Pyro-Man hung about in the center of the group. Pyro-Man was ordinarily built for the most part, but Heart-Man was good enough to hear every word. "Hmph...I understand I could have done a better job, but I think brother will do just fine," he muttered quietly to himself.

"Well, it's just wonderful to see you're eager!" He shouted only a few moments later. Locking arms with Pyro-Man to be sure he kept up, Heart-Man dashed along with the group, hoping that Dive-Man had already resumed being active and had a plan.

Shuttle Man burst through the door, to find a submarine robot plotting with another blue-and-cyan robot. They barely noticed him as he came in. Both had a pencil, and there was a map of Mobius in front of them. The blue-and-cyan robot handed it to the submarine robot, and shouted, "No, no, no. You're completely exposed on your left flank." "What are you talking about? I constitued my plant to the right and center, because the left is steep mountains which are perfect for ambushes to come into play." "Yeah, but if those ambushes are to come, they'll decimate the center in the open field, leaving the right flank in a bad position!" "I'm putting the strongest into the center, then." "No, you can't do that! That'll just make you lose men." "Are you kidding? What, do you think Wily's just going to throw everything he's got at us?" "Yes! That's why your plan is bad! Even moreso is that there's wood cover at the right flank! They'll press you in and destroy you!" "Oh, fine!"

The blue-and-cyan robot, fuming, got up and threw away the piece of paper. He then noticed Shuttle Man. "Hi. You must be that new Light series my creator was working on. Go on, he's in the workshop." He only regarded Heart Man with a solemn nod. Then he sat back down, and began to draw a new plan.

Upon seeing the blue-and-cyan Robot once again, Pyro-Man was set upon by conflicting feelings. Instinct told him that he was an enemy, but he knew he wasn't--and even if he was, it would be unwise to attack. He eventually settled for shooting a cold glare towards him.
---
Heart-Man looked at Mega Man, then at the new Light series. "Go on, you guys," he quietly told them, "I'll be along soon enough."
Not waiting to see if they cleared out, he turned and regarded the Robot that had not only bested him, but taken a piece of him several months ago. "Mega Man...it's been all too long. How have you been? I know that guarding this city must be mind-meltingly boring for you, and you seem rather frustrated...is there anything I could do to help?"

"Oh, I'm fine. I'm only frustrated at your hard-headed buddy over there," he said, pointing to Dive Man. "The city isn't too boring, though I wish some of my friends were here..." he said sadly. "I thought Charge Man was coming here to offer peace and then we could've gone out to the city, but as soon as he popped in, he was gone... And yes, you can help me with something. Tell him to stop shooting down my plans. I've written up five already, and all of them have something wrong."

"What? They do! You're always leaving one part of your army unprotected! Honestly, a better plan would be for you to just go gung-ho and-"

"Gung-ho?! That's how you think I fight? I take everything into careful consideration!"

"Then why have five of your plans been scrapped? Because you overlooked something!"

The two got into a fierce shouting war, one trying to protect his plans, and one trying to swat them down due to his do-everything nature. Eventually, Dive Man won, and Mega Man rolled his eyes and sat back down. "As much of a master planner you are, Dive Man, you have to learn that others can help," he muttered.

"Ugh, I just hope you don't do the same to Roll... I wonder how she is. Heart Man, you've been down there with her. How is she? Is she hurt?"

Heart-Man was relatively surprised. Mega Man didn't seem to be too hostile with him...maybe word of the modifications hadn't reached him yet? ...Regardless of what it was, Heart-Man wasn't going to let it slip away. "Roll was doing fine, last I was down there. Dr. Light has done a wonderful job with her armor--not a single attack has caused her harm yet.
Oh, war is madness, but the sooner we win, the sooner you can see your friends again. For now, the only thing you can do is keep trying, and help in any way you can. And for the record," he said with a smile, "I don't think anyone really likes Dive-Man."
---
Pyro-Man was making a lot of use of his processor, and hearing two people fight made him do something else with it--he decided he didn't like listening to people argue. He walked over to the submarine-looking Robot, and spoke to them. "Um...I think they said your name was Dive-Man?...If you're so good at noticing their mistakes, why don't you just write the plans yourself?"

Dive Man cast a glance at Heart Man. "Excellent question, Pyro Man," he said, still glaring at his brother. "I would like to do so, but Mega Man here requested training for plan-making should a conflict like this arise again. And from what I've heard," now directing his speech to Heart Man, "not many like you, either... except Gravity Man and Burst Man."

Then he was handed another piece of paper. Dive Man looked at it with a scowl, his eyes narrowed. "There we go. Nice work, Mega Man. Keeps a nice balance between all three major points, yet still keeps the forces in the center a bit stronger. Time for Lesson Eight." He offered the piece of paper, circling a large facility. "This chemical factory isn't there anymore, but just pretend it's an enemy base you have to storm. No flanks required, go."

"So, headed back over to Mobius?" Dive Man said.

"I see, then...I guess it is good that he wants, like brother said, to be helpful in every possible way."
As Pyro-Man was musing to himself, Heart-Man just smiled. "Even if those were the only ones, that'd be more than you! Hehehe...I guess I'll see you later." With that, he took Pyro-Man's hand and led him off to the teleporter. "I tell you, that -Man doesn't know how to have any fun," he said to no one in particular as the teleporter whisked him back to the Dr. Light Base.
---
After a swift touchdown back in Mobius, Heart-Man started up his communicator. "Dr. Coda siblings, there's a surprise waiting for you back at the Dr. Light base. Get here quickly." With that out of the way, he swiftly looked around, seeing if the situation had changed.
