"Registration? Front desk in Quandrant 4, Section 3- also known as our training and registration center. It's basically in the bottom left corner, so straight down from here," Snake Man explained. He turned his attention back to Roll and her training. It seemed so odd that he was enthralled by something so trivial as this.He had never really been into the whole 'family' junk- just like Shadow Man, he often stayed away from his cousins and brothers. So why did this seem so incredibly important all of a sudden? Snake Man deduced that it might've been just wartime thinking, but it seemed unlikely. He tried to think why he would feel this way... Perhaps it reminded him of himself? There was a certain cautiousness in her movements, a timidity that wasn't prominent but there. Just as he was when he first started. Now he was much different, but he could relate to it. This didn't seem like the real reason, though, so he dug deeper. It's because she's family, Snake Man. And it's because you love her like family. Snake Man was satisfied with this answer, and continued to watch. |

Unknown Man noticed some odd signal from far off, and got a piece of paper to write down the data, but found he had lost his pen. He got up, and went over to his supply closet. He opened it, found two bots who were making out, closed it, and decided to just use the computer to store the data. After a bit, he began noticing a pattern. Unknown: Hm... It would seem that the signal is related to... Space-time? Whether it's just a random fluctuation or something more, I'm not sure... |

(Oh, please, Rythem, you build Robots that break space-time. You can't be surprised.) Shorde could see that nobody was too interested in making conversation, so he simply thanked Snake-Man for the directions and walked off towards the specified location. He wasn't one for specific directions, but eventually he found the given location. There seemed to be no attendant, but Shorde found the registration form and a pen for writing. Without hesitation, he calmly sat down and filled out the needed information. I have no real reason to conceal my name anymore, he thought, and he printed "Shorde Ariame" at the top. By the time he was finished, Shorde relapsed into an old habit--he drew his sword, pricked his index finger with it, and wrote his signature with his own blood. It was a habit he had developed back in Camelot, for the day he would write his name alongside the other Knights. Of course, that day had never come, but he figured this was close enough. After sheathing his sword again, Shorde calmly placed the completed registry form on the desk, and waited--though he knew not for what. |

Ballade and the Apache Joes were nearing the light base, with his ground troops not far behind. "Apache Joes, open fire!" Ballade fired his copter's cannon at the roof, the Joes followed suit. The ground unit rushed and broke through the doors and started rushing in. Ballade landed his copter into a hidden location, and got out. He radioed his Joes. "Keep them distraced while I free the prisoners." Ballade said. "Yessir." said the SniperJoes over their radio. (If you hadn't caught on. I'm trying to make Ballade meet Malware for the first time.) |

Snake Man noticed the base rumbling, and called Crash Man over to help him. They both went to the front door. Sniper Joes were advancing torwards them. "Jesus, you guys don't give up, do you?" Both took out a couple Joes with their weapons, and dashed back to find support. |

ApacheJoe still firing above and the ground unit successful Ballade managed to find his way to the prisoner cells. Ballade didn't worry about keys, he just bew the cell locks open. One by one, Wilybot prisoners stepped out of their cells, Ballade went to the last cell and saw a female robot that looked like Roll, but was purple and had black hair, was taller, and looked more the age of him or ProtoMan, but she was deactivated. "Kinda cute." Ballade thought. Ballade then blew open the cell and put her over her shoulder. "Ok, guys. Let's get outta here, move quickly before they notice your escape." Ballade said as he started running to the back exit from which he came. |

"Boy oh boy, two rescues in a row. Aren't we lucky? Don't bother with the girl- she's pitifully weak," Flash Man said with disgust. "And just how are we getting out of here? Not by truck, I hope." --- "Another prison breach? You must be joking! And Ballade's running it now..." Dive Man said thoughtfully. "Everyone with shields, get down there. You should be able to hold the Ballade Crackers." Skull Man, Gust Man, Volt Man, and Jewel Man complied, and raced down there as soon as they could. |

Shorde was still waiting for something--anything--when a loud explosion shook the base. From how it sounded, they were coming from the ground...and the roof? He was about to dash off towards the ones on the ground floor, but then he stopped, and figured that someone would get there before him. Thus, he took a familiar path--the one up to the roof. He arrived slightly winded from the run, but Shorde was still more than able to fight. As he drew his sword, he looked up and saw the source of the explosions--several helicopters armed by one-eyed humanoid droids, shooting fireballs from their mounted cannons. They were rather high flyers, but they weren't out of reach--Shorde leaped into the air, hurling himself at one of the copters. "Dodge this, cyclops!" --- The Coda Robots had decided on an order to go in, and each one would train against Roll once. Third was Heart-Man's turn, and he was taking more of a coach-like approach than the other. As he slowly turned his right hand into his Plasma Pistol, he was talking to Roll. "Now, there might be a couple key exceptions, but most of the time, your opponent will have a gun and you'll only have a sword. Now, what are you going to do when I take aim at you?" Roll had only dodged so far, but she was a quick learner, and could see what he was getting at. As he fired two shots at her, she held Virus out carefully, getting ready to slash them out of the way...when a loud explosion shook the base, sending her down to the floor to duck under them instead. Heart-Man dashed over to the fallen girl, and offered a hand to help her up. His next statement was one word long. "Trouble." The Coda Robots quickly divided--four to go assist with the ground attack, and four to dash up to the roof. That left Heart-Man and Roll to search for the orchestrator of the attack. "Let's hope you can put what you've learned to good use," he muttered to himself, and dashed off with her to sweep the facility. |

As soon as they left the door, they collided with four robots- the ones sent to intercept Ballade. "We've got a jailbreak in the cells- again," muttered Volt Man quietly. They picked themselves up, and dashed off yet again. --- Snake Man and Crash Man had taken care of the robots in the front, so they quickly moved to the roof, finding a purple... thing hurtling torwards one of the copters. "I sure do hope he's good..." Snake Man whispered to his colleague. Crash Man then took aim at a copter nearby. Edited by Magnet Dood, Mar 17 2012, 08:42 AM.

"I was going to get ALL prisoners out." "Here, this way." Ballade said as he ran outside to where his copter was parked. "Air unit, land and give these Wily bots some transportation." "Yessir." The copters landed, and Ballade took Malware into his copter. "Ok, you got your way out: these copters, make sure you put them on full speed until we reach HQ, got it?" Said Ballade as he started lifting into the air. "See you back home!" Ballade shouted as he sped off torward the Wily base. |

When he heard "jailbreak," Heart-Man immediately thought of Malware. What would Roll think when she saw her?...He temporarily dismissed the thought, deciding he'd get to it when it happened. "Then that's where we're going." Heart-Man and Roll dashed off to the prison, but by the time they got there, they had been too slow--the attacker had already freed all the prisoners. With a couple quick movements, Heart-Man managed to trace the attacker, and within minutes, they were outside, chasing him on foot. "We'll never be able to hit him from down here!" Roll shouted hopelessly. Heart-Man nodded--leading shots on that fast-moving Apache Copter would be hard. Then he noticed some other Robots running behind him--and, lucky for him, one of them was air-based. Heart-Man turned and yelled at him: "Hey, Gust! I don't suppose we could get a boost to take down this copter?!" --- He hadn't been around to fight most of them, but destroying these helicopters was no harder than one of Eggman's classic boss machines. As he hurled himself into the copter--much to the surprise of the pilot--he continually bounced off of its top and crashed into it. Soon he was counting out the hits. "One two three four, five six se-ven eight!" Eventually, he couldn't continue his combo, and he hit the roof again. As he looked up, he saw the reason why--the Joes were retreating, and Ballade was with them. "Man, some guys just don't know when to give up!" For a minute, Shorde was stuck--not even his Spin-Dash would be enough to catch up with the quickly retreating Copters, and chasing on foot clearly wasn't an option. If The Dark One were here, he could probably gun it down... he thought to himself as he walked back towards the stairwell... Until four dashing Robots sent him sprawling onto the ground. He quickly jumped up and got ready to attack, but stilled his blade--these Robots were allies. "Well, I don't suppose any of you could do something about that?" he said sheepishly, pointing at the Copter. The Robots seemed deterred slightly, but they quickly thought of a plan--one with particularly heavy armor shot off a blast of three rockets at the Copter, while a strong-looking one--with his permission, of course--grabbed Shorde and lobbed him at the Copter. |

Ballade was flying fast, ocaisionally looking at Malware to see if she would awaken. "She must've gotten hit hard." Thought Ballade. Ballade wondered if the others got into their copters and would follow suit back to the base. |

Gust Man nodded. He quickly grabbed onto both of his allies, and signaled to Volt Man. He lifted him up, and launched them straight into the air. Gust Man's propellers on his feet and in his chest kicked in, and soon they were rapidly advancing on the Joes. "Tell me when to drop!" he shouted. |

Ballade could see the base ahead, he was getting closer. "Just got to fly a little faster!" Ballade said as he pushed the throttle on the copter close to it's limits. |

Though Shorde was far from landing on top of Ballade's copter, more than a few Joes were lagging behind, and he managed to land in one of them. He briefly considered swooping in and killing the pilot with a stab, but then he realized that he definitely couldn't fly this thing by himself. With that option removed, he had no way of landing inside the cockpit, so he simply went with his earlier method--destroying the choppers by bouncing off of them. Soon, only a few of the fleet were left, and Shorde was closing in on Ballade's Copter. He may be able to get in a homing attack if he were a few feet closer... --- Heart-Man wanted to land quickly--if he landed on an Apache Copter, he could easily assassinate the pilot and take over the craft himself. However--much to his own confusion--a quick purple ball was dashing through all the Copters, exploding them with a few blows. Though Heart-Man had never really noted the character, they both caught a glimpse of his face as he darted right in front of them. And Roll knew who it was immediately. "Hey, it's you again!" She didn't know why, but seeing the swordsman fighting beside her was a sudden inspiration. As she waved with her empty hand to him, she shouted a message to Gust-Man: "Fly me closer, I want to hit them with my sword!" Heart-Man was happy to hear Roll in such a great mood. "I think I have a better idea, Roll," he said as he took aim with his Plasma Pistol--in his haste, he had never bothered to switch it off. After a while aiming, a series of deadly precise shots went hurtling towards Ballade's Apache Copter. Heart-Man could only hope he'd grounded it. |

Ballade heard shots bieng fired. "So they caught on, huh?" Ballade thought. Ballade then saw shots coming torward his copter. He ducked and pulled Malware's head down. The shots his the back of the copter and it was smoking. "Crap." Ballade thought. "It would be nice for her to wake up now." Ballade thought as he saw the copter smoke and run low on fuel. "Dangit he hit the fuel tank." |

"Looks like we hit him," Gust Man shouted. He tried to close the gap between the copter and himself, but was nicked by a passing Apache Joe's propellor. "Agh!" he yelled in pain. Oil was streaming out his left ankle protector. In desperation, knowing he couldn't keep them up longer, he flung both at Ballade's copter with enough power that both could grab on. |

"Hah, direct hit! You just can't beat our aim--" Heart-Man's little victory speech was interrupted as he was hurled forward by a falling Gust-Man. Though shocked, he was quick to react, and he grabbed onto the side of the copter. Roll, however, was not as quick to react, and wound up dangling in the air, desperately clutching Heart-Man's leg with both arms. It was then that Shorde was finally within range of Ballade's copter. Sparing the other Robot Masters in their own respective copters, he launched himself at Ballade's, beginning to hit it for the standard eight times. At five hits, the copter began to descend, which gave its many riders mixed feelings. Shorde saw that his work was done, though, and left the copter to its demise. With a quick jump, he sent himself free-falling towards the ground. |

Gust Man crashed to the ground, his head hitting with a sickening thud. He saw the copter falling to the ground, and noticed Ballade jumping off. "Oh no you don't," Gust Man shouted after him. He fired off a Gust Barrier immeditately, and four fast tornadoes headed torwards Ballade. |
