Sonic Man had covered his eyes from the bright lighting and sprung out from his hiding place, checking Blackout Man into a wall. He stabbed through his back with is trident three times, hoping to take him out before he managed to counterattack. Then he noticed the Bit Cannon hurtling torward him. He hefted up Blackout Man and threw him torward it, hoping to inflict major damage to him. Quint had slammed into a few boxes, but it wasn't enough to hurt much. He was about to fire at his assailant, but he saw that Sonic Man had him covered. "Good work, Sonic Man. Stay close to me." Now it seemed that three Light bots were against Wily's four... until Shark Man seized the oppurtunity of Poison Man being paralyzed momentarily. He sprung onto him and crunched through his plating, trying to demolish him. He jumped off of him, and sent two Shark Boomerangs into his torso and head. Bit Man got up, and fired a Bit Cannon at him, too, sending him into the air. "Well, this is ironic- the weak drones are the last ones left," Bit Man said to his comrade as they hurried back to better cover should Posion Man awake. They met up with Roll behind her barricade. "Don't worry, we're here. Poison Man should be knocked out, but Sonic got Blackout Man... Give us our orders, captain," Shark Man said. |

Blackout-Man was used to a wide variety of brightness levels, and he had guessed that there was no one else who shared such a range. He was expecting everyone in the arena to be stunned for at least a good ten seconds. The last thing he expected was for somebody to shield the attack. Before he knew what had happened, he had been stabbed three times over, but not even that could compare to the pain of being thrown straight into the Bit Cannon. It drilled right through the hole the trident had made, leaving a gaping hole in Blackout-Man's torso. He didn't even have time to say "I'm sorry, captain" before he closed his eyes and went into a safety shutdown. In one quick moment, Blackout-Man's ultraviolet lights flickered out. Poison-Man had already tripped and fallen after trying to run blindly during the Blackout Blast, so he was already in a vulnerable position. Taking a huge bite from Shark-Man was only natural, and exactly what he expected. The two Shark Boomerangs, however, were not expected. Though weak--it was like being bitten with only one of Shark-Man's jagged teeth--they did startle him slightly as he rose to his feet. Of course, being swept off his feet by the Bit Cannon was just plain annoying. "That's what I like about you, Shark dude," Poison-Man shouted, clutching his bleeding side as he fell through the air. "you aren't afraid of me! However, your bravery just might be your downfall," he added, as the black leaking from his side suddenly turned a deep green, "because you just bit straight into my corrosion tank! You'll get wrecked fast...but, of course, so will I. I guess my role in this fight is done." After crashing into the ground, Poison-Man rolled away from where the remainder of his corrosion was spilled, and closed his eyes. The last thing he said before shutting down to avoid further damage was "I'll get you another time, missy." --- "Are you sure you want to listen to me?" Roll said, eyes widening at the thought. "The last 'order' I gave got Gemini Dust Crushed, and you'll do me no good if you end up like him." Out of the corner of her eye, she thought she saw the two odd Robots hovering behind her, but as soon as she looked, there was nothing there. Shaking her head, Roll brought herself back to the situation--one of her soldiers was wounded mortally, and she needed to take charge. "Shark, rush them! Do as much damage to the enemy forces as you can! Bit, see if you can find a Healing Item for your comrade!" |

Both of them nodded, and went off together. "Here I come, Wily Bots! FEEDING FRENZY!" Shark Man shouted as he charged ahead, while Bit tossed him one of the small white healing canisters. He took a giant chomp out of it, and the poison dissapeared after a few seconds. Torch Man was unlucky enough to be right in the way of Shark Man. "Sorry bro- but this is war," he said maniacally, bashing into Torch Man and biting out his right shoulder. Although he was still active, there wasn't much he could do since one arm was worthless. He walked over, clutching his right shoulder, and said, "I'm out!" Bit Man came up through the middle, firing a few projectiles right into the barricades and severly limiting their hiding places. He had vaulted a box right in front of him and had met up with Shark Man. "Come out, come out, wherever you are!" Shark Man called. --- Quint smirked smugly as that came closer to him. Clicking on his communicator, he whispered- "Drill Man, now." Drill Man had popped straight out of the ground. He had hidden underground the entire match and used an Oil Stream fired by Oil Man as an excuse to seem damaged, since it hit him. He fired two Drill Bombs in their direction. Bit Man and Shark Man were caught off guard, and were launched high into the air from the two explosives. They landed inside their own base, hurt from the fall. They both limped back to Roll's barricade, and gave the details. "Shark's healed and Torch is taken out, but he hid Drill Man for the entire match and he nearly killed us," Bit Man reported. "We've taken some pretty bad damage... but I think we might just be able to get him. You'd better get your sword ready, captain- we might not be coming back this time." They took a few moments to rest, and charged ahead again, firing into the direction of where Drill Man, Sonic Man, and Quint were. Drill Man popped out of the ground, and fired right at them. They took cover behind a barricade, unable to move. |

The Coda siblings were excited by the turn the match had taken. As the number of Robots left in the fight lessened, they spread out to give each other space. Presently, they were all lined up against one wall, where the Dr. Light team had started. "I can't believe I never noticed he was missing! I'll have to remember what a surprise Drill-Man could be...Tide-Man would like to hear about this. Say, where is Tide-Man, anyway?" Heart-Man suddenly shushed them. He quietly watched from his spot, trying to watch Roll closely. --- Roll was beginning to panic. She had expected to have to fight at some point during the battle, but that didn't mean she was looking forward to it. Her subpar skills as a commander had seemingly destroyed her chances of winning the fight, and she wasn't looking forward to drawing her blade on her friends...what if something went wrong, again? For a brief moment, Roll closed her eyes and gritted her teeth, then shouted her last order of the match. "No, ignore him! You've taken too much damage to take him down! Try to finish off Sonic-Man, then go for Quint!" |

"Agh, it's like being pinned down by a minigun!" Bit Man shouted over the roar of fire. The words said by Roll weren't heard by either bot- it was too hard to hear over the shots being fired. "WHAT?!" Shark Man shouted, unsure if the question was heard. "No more orders from her, Shark! We'll have to take matters into our own hands! Just watch out for the radius damage on those bombs and follow me!" Bit Man shouted. "On the count of three! One... Two..." "THREE, MOVE, MOVE!" Bit Man and Shark Man jumped up from the wall, blindly charging right through the center. Bit Man kept his head down, charging forward with drills spinning. "SHARK! GIVE ME A BOOST!" Shark Man ran ahead and crouched under him. As Bit Man jumped on him, he sprang up, launching him into the air. Bit Man dolphin-dived straight for Drill Man, his arms right in front of him. Drill Man shut his eyes. Right before two electric drills went clean through them. Drill Man's body fizzled and cracked, and Bit Man hoisted him up. He flung the lifeless body straight into a wall, sending it to the floor. He took a quick look at all those still standing, including the Coda bots, as if he were embarassed, and said, "Sorry about the mess." Shark Man took him by the shoulder, and they both moved upwards. "Nice work out there," he whispered to his coolant and oil-splattered brother. "I swear it was an accident- I was aiming for his torso..." he muttered, taking a look over his shoulder at the body. Sonic Man was quickly disposed off by a quick bite of Shark Man's in his left leg, rendering him helpless. After brief scuffling noises in the back, Quint, pouting, was raised by a triumphant Shark Man, his buster in his other hand. "This battle is officially over," Bit Man declared. |

Heart-Man just smiled back at the Robots. "No problem! I told you to give it your all--I expected an oily mess from the beginning. You know, the only guy I'm not looking forward to fixing up is you," he added with a laugh as he pointed to Shark-Man. "You know, my rivalry with Poison started once I had to repair him while working around his corrosion. I still say it's one of the toughest jobs I've ever had--" he was interrupted by being smacked by one of Wire-Man's Cable Whips, and promptly thanked him for snapping him out of a flashback. "Now for the less fun part--as the winners, you get to carry your fallen comrades down to the infirmary. The losers will have to find their own way there. Come on, Roll, you should help too." --- Roll had continued to hide, even after the gunshots had stopped. Even now, she was cowering behind the boxes, muttering a few of the obscenities she had heard the generals shouting before. This whole battle had been arranged just for her, and all the mind she had to do was hide like a coward! With no hesitation, she punched right through the box in front of her, but it did nothing to relieve her frustration. Come on! What was wrong with her? Why was she so cowardly? Why was she so...so... Unable to finish the sentence herself, the two girl Robots she thought she had seen appeared from thin air behind her to help her finish. They paced towards her silently, raising their heads to speak--first the white, then the black. "Why are you so pathetic?" "Why are you so worthless?" As they approached Roll, each placed one hand on each of her shoulders. To everyone else, it looked as if she fell, but what she felt was the two throwing her into the ground. The two only repeated what they said before: "Pathetic..." "Worthless!" Roll was trembling now, and she had nearly dropped Virus twice now--more than enough to capture Heart-Man's attention. She was trying to suppress her anger--her anger with herself--but she quickly found out that there was nothing there to suppress. The change happened in the blink of an eye; the innocent pink on Roll's armor changed to a fiery orange. Roll stopped shaking and got to her feet, and slowly opened her eyes. They were no longer the innocent blue that everyone was familiar with, but a furious red that everyone knew for a different reason. I am not pathetic and worthless. "Hold up just a minute," Roll shouted powerfully as she strode out from her hiding spot. "This battle isn't over. Last I checked, Heart-Man said the object was to defeat the enemy captain. You don't look so defeated to me," she glowered at Quint, who had at some point been set back down again. "Now, that 'training session' barely taught me anything, but I don't want this to be a total waste. So before you all leave, why don't you give me the honor of letting me battle another super-weapon?" Without waiting for an answer, Roll cracked a smug smile. "I was hoping you'd say that. En garde!" Now knowing the significance of earning the first hit, Roll swiftly raised Virus into the air and slammed it downward, trying to bash Quint's helmet with its hilt. |

Quint rolled away from the smash. "Hey, cool your jets, Roll! I never knew you were a sore loser!" He looked urgently over at Shark Man, who tossed the dismantled buster over to him. "I am not fighting you right now- I have to take my fallen soldiers back to infirmary!" After seeing that she wasn't going to give up, he attached his buster hand back on. "I guess I'll just finish this quickly..." he sighed, then suprised the bots by shouting, "Sakugarne! Equipped!" The sentinent jackhammer was summoned, teleporting in front of it's owner. "Come on, Saku, we have a little fighting to do. Let's pound my si- goddamnit, Roll into the ground." Sakugarne's eyes beamed at the thought of being used again, and it started to launch up when Quint was properly mounted. "Keep out of reach of Virus, Saku, and nail her when the time is right." In essence, the Sakugarne seemed like an awful weapon. It only jumped up and down like a retarded pogo stick, it barely hit anything, it was slow, and the sudden jolts upon hitting the ground often left the user with shock. However, the Sakugarne, if used in the right hands, was devestating. Being crushed by a jackhammer exerting close to 2,000 pounds of force (1,952, to be exact) was going to hurt like hell. Quint had perfected the weapon's uses and turned it into a reliable asset over the years, but he still preferred the run and gun strategy used by his look-alike, Mega Man. Nevertheless, as much laughs as he was getting from the other robots, he was a dangerous opponent for Roll. He switched his hand to his buster, and fired a Crystal Eye at her. |

"What's going on out there?!" Delete-Man shouted as he heard the sounds of combat starting up again. As he turned his attention back to the battlefield, the first thing he noticed was the fact that Roll no longer sported her original colors. "She's transformed! We must detain her!" His dash towards the battlefield was stopped by Heart-Man's arm. "Take a closer look, brother; she's not being controlled by the Protectant or the Infectant. This isn't part of Virus' original coding...and she seems to be keeping herself in check. For now, it's just a friendly duel--we'll stop her if she needs stopping." After being sure his brother wasn't about to recklessly charge out, Heart-Man slowly lowered his arm and turned back to the battle, which he was very curious about as well. --- I won't lose this fight. I can't lose this fight. I'm better than him! Those were the only things going through Roll's mind as she waited for her opponent to get ready. Unlike the Coda siblings, no laughter came from her as she watched Quint mount his Sakugarne--even though she jumped a fair bit higher than her brother, Quint would likely soar over her head with such a weapon. He was going to keep his distance and mow her down with special weapons...which really didn't come as a surprise, but it still frustrated her. "I was expecting you to do that," she commented with a smile. Remembering what Heart-Man had taught her, she smacked the Crystal Eye off to the side with the flat of her sword. It was no perfect deflection, and the Eye would still shatter once it hit the wall, but at least it wouldn't be a direct hit. With that out of her mind for now, she dashed at Quint and swiped a weak slash at him--just trying to land a hit before he could take off with his Sakugarne. |

Shadow stopped in front of Vestra's hideout. "It's in here." Shadow said. Shadow then walked inside and was standing in front of the door leading to the "throne room". ProtoMan then arrived and went inside. "Shadow. Wait we burst in on 3." ProtoMan said. "1........2........3......go." Then Shadow threw the doors open and ran inside with ProtoMan running in after him. |

Vestra: I know all about you. My "machine" will work far, far better. You just want to go and defeat all the enemies here, in this universe. That doesn't work, he'll just build and send more. So, I'm constructing a portal. This portal will allow me to strike at his base. Perhaps I'll storm the place with my own bots, perhaps I'll let all you guys take it, or perhaps I'll just nuke it. No matter what, I need this emerald more than you do. |

(OP CHARACTER OP CHARACTER OP CHARACTER OP CHARACTER- ahem sorry) Quint easily dodged the attack by weakly bouncing backwards. "I don't know what has gotten into you, miss, but if you're trying to threaten me, I can easily teach you a lesson." He was now bouncing high into the air, unable to be caught by any of Roll's sword slashes. A Crystal Eye projectile was coming torwards him. Catching it, he threw it down like a fastball, aiming for Roll's sword hand. Shark Man and Bit Man, still able to fight, took on a fighting stance, but Quint waved them away. "I'll be fine, guys- get the others down to the infirmary." They both nodded, and began to pick up the more damaged bodies first. --- Freeze and Cloud Man had finally gotten away from Malware and Ballade. They had radioed the other bots of their conditions, and apparently they had escaped. With nothing else to do, they began to control the city gingerly, wondering where to go. |

Tide-Man uttered a quiet sigh as he stood from his chair and began to pace. " 'Just a few minutes,' they said, 'The ceremony will begin momentarily,' they said...I wonder how the whole training thing is going." With a few quick moments, he dialed Heart-Man, who briskly responded. "Can this wait? I need to be monitoring Roll closely...and, seeing who you are, I can tell that you probably want to as well." With that, he moved his video camera to capture the duel. --- The small crystal ball flew quickly through the air, but the distance between Quint and Roll was too great for it to hit--she saw it coming, and that was all she needed. With a quick duck, the Crystal Eye sailed right over its target. She considered shouting another taunt at him, but she decided against it--she needed to hit him first before she started playing cool. With that in mind, she simply stood where she was, trying to figure out how she was supposed to strike. She could follow the Sakugarne's movements, sure, but whenever it landed, it would send up shrapnel...Roll needed a plan, and fast. --- Shorde laid in bed, trying to focus. The ice casts still had yet to melt, but they had a couple cracks from his attempts to shift them around. "Man, I didn't think it'd take this long," he muttered to himself. "I guess I should give him a ring, see how things are going." With a few quick movements on his watch, he tapped into Proto Man's radio frequency. "Yo, Proto, how are things going--" He cut himself off, because the video feed told him everything. "Well well well, I can't say I'm surprised. Is she resisting? In all due seriousness, Vestra, I can't blame The Dark One for attacking you to make you give it up. You really should, you know--you don't have what it takes to go Super, and Chaos Energy alone--not to mention the Chaos Powers, which Shadow wields better than anyone--will be enough to wreck these Robots. Come, now, stop struggling and let's do this the easy way." |

Vestra dodged the metal blades with ease. Vestra: I have no time for this. You have no reason to attack me. I am using this emerald for the same goal as yours, destroying Wily. However, I fully intend to destroy the Chaos Emeralds when this is over. They are far too powerful to let exist any longer. If I cannot destroy them, I will send them to the heart of the sun, to prevent anyone from ever accessing them again. |
