Time's up.

There was a cough over the loudspeaker as a reply.

Eggman: Shorde. I should have expected you here. Come to the engine room, I will light the way.

Suddenly, lights along the floor of the hallway lit up, creating a path.

(I need to post, don't I.)

Medic Man shot a glance at the other doctor. "Erm... OK? Whatever. Move over, let me see what I can do." He walked over to the poison based robot, inert on the table. "Well, he still has poison in his tank... gotta drain that first." He sucked it up with a small surgical vacuum, then got to work fixing the broken corrosion tank.
---
Magic Man was busy barking orders to Stone Man and Aqua Man, two of the soldiers currently on hand. "Scout out the are with a few smaller robots and see if any Light bots are coming around. If you run into a fix, radio the other- or me. I'll be over there the minute there's trouble. Aqua, you take the north quadrant, Stone, the south. Get moving."

The two soldiers nodded as they walked off with their small squads.

Heart-Man watched tentatively, only halfway paying attention to his work on one Robot's gun that had been torn off. No matter what the injury, Poison-Man had always been his toughest patient--well, his toughest Robotic patient--and anyone who could fix him properly was an intellectual doctor to say the least. He had mentally decided that watching Medic-Man's performance would determine if his jealousy was justifiable, and him agreeing so easily worried him slightly. Heart-Man didn't want to waste his time being jealous of some other Robot, but the skill of this Robot doctor was beginning to drive him mad...
---
Shorde was pleased--not by the fact that Eggman was home, but by the fact that he was doing something productive. "Come on, Proto, this way!" He sprinted along the light trail with the Hedgehog speed Mobians were known for. Of all places, though...why the engine room? This thing won't be flying again soon...
Shorde arrived quickly at the room. "Hey, thanks for the path. Can't be sure if you heard us on the way in, so long story short--Proto Man, he's right behind me, he needs to be able to run off of Chaos Energy. He seems to think you'll reprogram him or something...I'm only here to 'make sure you don't pull anything funny.' Though, to be honest, I'm not that bright when it comes to Robotics, so you could probably get away with whatever you wanted. Now, give him a second to catch up here..."
---
Wire-Man stopped almost immediately, giving himself a moment to process information. He could infer that if he went to the ground, he would be spotted almost immediately and killed on sight. However, his rooftop-style search had yielded little results, which was somewhat odd to him. He decided that jumping was getting him nowhere, but he still needed the element of surprise--in a few minutes, he reemerged onto the rooftop, staying there and looking all around for any forces he could ambush easily.
---
The repairs went swiftly. When she powered back on, she felt somewhat strange, but she was in perfect condition. Quietly thanking Jerry for the repairs, she ran home as quickly as she could. Stopping to breathe briefly outdoors, she sighed as she contemplated exactly what would be in store for her. She silently entered her room, taking off her armor and putting on her typical red dress and green bow. It was a familiar look that should have brought her comfort, but all she could bring herself to do was sigh once more as she gazed into the mirror. Finally, she walked back out to the lab's living room--or at least, she had always considered it that, since it was the most hospitable room in the house. Taking a seat, she sadly regarded the now-empty weapon rack above the fireplace that had once held Virus.
Roll gave off one final sigh as she thought of the weapon. "I'll have to take that down tomorrow," she said to no one before burying her head in her hands.

(Grah, so many breaks in this probably unnecessarily long post >_>

Also, I lied, apparently. Thought that would be an easier scene to walk in on?)

Time's up.

Eggman smirked.

Eggman: I wouldn't dream of doing anything so nefarious.

On any other day, he'd do just that. But he saw what this "Vestra" girl was capable of, and no matter how much he hates it, he's going to need help.

---

Vestra smiled to herself. Those fools were idiots, all doing exactly as planned. She opened a secret wall, into a dark room. The wall closed behind her.

Vestra: Ahhh, everything's coming together. This world will fall just as easily as the last. And there's not a god damn thing you can do about it. You have never been so helpless, so hopeless. Because, you know the only one who can stop me...

Vestra turned on the light. Behind the sturdy steel bars of a cell was a familiar fox, bound and gagged, wearing a sweatshirt, and had a socket on her right shoulder where her robotic arm should be.

Vestra: ...Is myself.

"Alright." ProtoMan said. "Let's get this started. You have to give me an adaptor so I can run off of Chaos Energy as well as my primary energy source, can you do it?"

"Good, time to get started." ProtoMan said. "I'll go into sleep mode during the operation." With that ProtoMan went into sleep mode and was completely unconscious.

(Holy cluck, evil clones.)

Elec Man was busily humming to himself, working around in his room to get it shiny and clean. He almost breezed right by his sister with a cheery "Hi, Roll," before he stopped to process the facts.

Roll was back from Mobius, and the war was definitely not over.

She was back into her dress and bow.

Virus wasn't there, sitting on the mantlepiece like it should.

"OK, something is definitely wrong here, sis. Sit down- looks like you need a good listener."

He gently lead Roll to the couch, sitting himself down in a recliner chair. "Just to remind you, I'm only here to help- what's on your mind? Anything bad happen?"
---
Aqua Man had set out on his patrol route, checking out any buildings with some of the smaller drones. He was heading in Wire Man's general direction, and would be sending a drone to that building soon.
---
"Hmm... Weld that... Replace this... Fix that... And, done. There you go, he should be good as new." Indeed, Poison Man looked as if he was just built, gleaming on the table with a spectacular sheen. "Had to replace some of the metal, but it's the exact same as the one he used. Feel free to turn him on."

Roll looked up when she heard the sound of footsteps. Of course, it was Elec-Man--that was Elec-Man for you, never not doing something. She idly wondered if that contest between him and Time-Man to see who could be the most efficient Robot was still going on.
It didn't surprise her when he came over to try and console her. She wanted to tell him to go away and get back to his work, but she didn't have the energy to get angry, so she let him sit down. Of course, she was the one who had to start. "Nothing is wrong, brother dearest," she said as she faked a smile. "As a matter of fact, everything is back to normal." Suddenly, Roll couldn't feign happiness any longer, and her face fell as her gaze turned towards the floor. "...Everything is back to the way you wanted it to be."
---
As Wire-Man looked around, he felt the presence of something coming towards him. He couldn't tell where it was coming from, but he knew it was coming--the shockwaves from one of the big jumpers were unmistakable. Wire-Man stayed at his perch, keeping a sharp eye out for the oncoming soldiers.
---
Heart-Man was speechless once Medic-Man had finished the operation. Such speed, such precision...and most importantly, not a word of complaints! He clenched and unclenched his hands, trying to keep himself from getting frustrated and nearly destroying the Buster in his hands. Eventually, he congratulated Medic-Man with a "nice job," and quietly went back to his work. On his mind, however, there was only one question...How does he do it?!

"It's not normal if so many things are missing. Your sword is gone. Your armor is gone. And, most importantly, your cheery disposition is gone. This is not the way I want it to be- I want you to be happy. This isn't much coming from me, I know- I'm sure it would be nicer to hear it from Rock, or Auto, or Dr. Light- but I still wish for it. Now, I'd just like to know what is wrong... If you'd rather like to talk to someone else, I can arrange it. Just know that I'm here as a friend, and a brother."

Elec Man was worried, as he could at least guess what she was thinking. She was weak, unable to be on par with him, or the others- or Rock. Whenever she worked herself into a bad mood, it was difficult to get her out of it. Hopefully he'd be able to break it- fast.
---
Aqua Man looked at his radar. "Hmm... I'm getting a reading for a robot nearby... You, go check out that building." A nearby Sniper Joe nodded as he sprinted up the stairs.
---
Medic Man replied with a curt nod, whisking his way back to work. He busily welded up broken parts, repaired the mechanics for busted-up busters and refueled empty oil tanks. He worked like clockwork, repairing anything and everything in his nearby vicinity. In under half an hour, he had finished his last four patients. "Well, break time. I could use a drink." He headed out of the medical bay, off torwards where they stored provisions should any robot require it.

"Those things weren't normal," Roll glowered as her expression suddenly turned angry. "Don't pretend for even a second that you actually enjoyed me having them.
"And my happiness wasn't normal, either. I've been unhappy for such a long time. You've always just been too busy or too afraid or too...blind to see it!" Roll abruptly jumped up from her seat, and stormed off towards your room. "I don't get why you're suddenly paying so much attention to me now! It's because of that damned sword, isn't it?! Well, forget it, because you'll never have to see it again! Now, leave me alone!" She spun around and shouted one more thing before slamming the door on her brother. Staring down her brother as well as she could--which wasn't very good at all, considering she was shorter than Elec-Man--she motioned with one hand to herself. "This is exactly how I was before Dr. Coda came into my life--that's what you guys wanted, right?!"
---
Wire-Man could tell that someone was coming as well. The quick, light footsteps confused him for a brief moment, but when the Joe sprang out onto the rooftop, he was able to take action nonetheless. Holding his Cable Whips together for one brief moment, he whipped the air, sending an electric spark sailing at the Joe. It connected, electrocuting the droid before it could fire a shot. As it fell to the ground, Wire-Man carefully observed it. "Huh, looks to be a bit sleeker than the norms...must be a newer model, perhaps a Scout Joe."
With the knowledge that the Joe was a scout, Wire-Man could only guess that more would be coming soon. Tossing off the body would reveal his location, so instead he kicked it out of sight and waited for more.

Elec Man had sprung up from his chair the minute she snapped. "Now, wait a minute- Roll-"

The door being slammed in his face was enough of an answer. He wiped his face, muttering something as he went back to work. "Ugh, just like her brother..." was all he said before he began to move some of the boxes in his room around.
---
Aqua Man waited for the scout to return. When it failed to do so, he tromped up the stairs himself.

(Dang.....laaaaaaaaate post.)
Aaron and Christine were looking around the Coda HQ. They decided to pay a visit to this General Dive-man that Fog-Woman had mentioned before she left.

They found his office door, and gathering their courage, knocked at the door.

Roll must have stared at her door for at least a minute, waiting for Elec-Man to ignore her wish and barge in on her. When he didn't, she slumped down in the corner, not wanting to go to sleep.
She probably would've cried at that point, but she had done so much crying lately that she would have to submerge to refill her tear ducts. Instead, she picked up her helmet, sadly regarding the heart shape on the top. She had thrown it on the ground in frustration before, and now she wondered what she would ever use it for.
---
Wire-Man had just begun to let down his guard when he heard another pair of footsteps coming towards him. This time, he decided to take initiative, and generated sparks before the fighter came onto the rooftop.
As the figure ran up, Wire-Man quickly identified them as Aqua-Man--and he had the perfect banter for such a vulnerable opponent. "-Man, you do not want to tangle with me." He hurled his red Cable Whip with all his might at the water-based Master, knowing that the electricity-based attack would shred him.
---
Shorde idly looked around, from Proto Man, to Eggman, to the...thing, he was standing behind, to the dimly lit areas in the room where he could only guess things were hidden. Eventually, he lost patience with the doctor. "Well, what are you waiting for? An invitation? Get to work!"

Eggman: Be quiet.

He was using his specticles to examine Protoman, getting all the info he could. Then, several bots went into the room, giving him all sorts of tools.

Eggman: This hardware is vastly different from what I use. This... Might take a while.

With that, he got to work.

Elec Man began to hum again, a small tune that reminded him of his sister since she usually whistled it back when... He stopped himself. If I keep thinking of the past, I'll never be able to interact with the future, Elec Man thought to himself. He still wasn't going to try and console Roll right now. "Just give her time, Elec. Just give her time..." Thus, he began to hum again- but, unable to find the right tune, reverted back to Roll's theme. "Hrm. I wonder why this song is stuck in my head... I don't remember hearing it or humming it in the past two weeks. It's certainly an earworm. Ah, well, guess I'll jus-"

"Hey, Elec Man!" Ice Man called from down the hall. "We're having a basketball game outside, and we need you for 4-on-4! Wanna come out?"

"Err, sure! Be out in just a minute..." He stared longingly at Roll's door for a few seconds, then picked himself up and went outside.
---
Aqua Man ducked back into the doorway, evading the whip. "You?! What are you doing around here?" He fired off a couple of Water Balloons in a high arc, hoping to bomb him on the top of his head.

While in sleep mode ProtoMan was dreaming about the past: His first time bieng activated, him running away and bieng found by Wily, fighting MegaMan, rescuing Kalinka, encountering DarkMan disguised as himself, giving MegaMan the energy balancer, fighting MegaMan and giving hi his ProtoShield, fighting Wily during the Roboenza crisis, the Coda Wars, fighting his evil clone created by Coda, fighting YokuMan, and the Coda robots, dying temporarily before bieng revived by NuclearMan (or whatever his name was) and of course, his girlfriend waiting for him at home: PhotonWoman.

The pair (Aaron and Christine) waited for some kind of answer from the other side of General Dive-man's door. However, there wasn't one.

"Ummm...i guess he's not here?" Christine asked Aaron.

"Your security was horrible. I fail to understand how no one has done this before!" The first Water Balloon sailed right over Wire-Man's head, but the second smacked him right in the face, forcing him to put up his Cable Whips instinctively and take a couple steps backward. Not wanting the Water Balloons to set him up for a combo, he quickly recovered and jumped high into the air, whipping downwards with his blue Cable Whip, guessing that Aqua-Man would walk out from his cover and right into the attack. "Would you know where Magic-Man is?!"
---
"Oh, sorry." Shorde quietly stood and watched as his old nemesis worked on his old friend. The prospect was fascinating, but Shorde still didn't understand exactly what was happening, so his attention quickly went elsewhere. His gaze lingered towards Proto Man's visor, and he began to wonder what his life was like before the War of Mobius. I can barely fight these freaks...how does he do it?

Eggman continued working on Protoman for some time. He seriously considered reprograming Protoman for his own purposes, but decided against it. Eggman finished his work, and patched him up.
