Blub, blub, blub.
Bubble-Man was sleeping peacefully inside his chamber. He often had it filled with water, and this was incredibly satisfying to him--it let him make bubbles while he slept. And, as his name suggested, Bubble-Man loved bubbles.
He was just thinking about how lucky he was to be able to function efficiently on both water and land when suddenly his capsule drained itself of water--Bubble-Man's self-set alarm. As he felt Earthen weight take hold of him again, Bubble-Man groaned and opened his eyes.

After about a minute of fumbling around in his sleeping capsule, Bubble-Man quietly exited it, and took a look around. He noticed most of his brothers were still asleep--that was strange. "Gee, and I thought I slept in late..." Bubble-Man waddled his way down to the firing range to get in some early morning practice, rubbing his eyes on the way (Though it did him no good, because of the scuba mask he was wearing).

"Mornin' Bubble-Bro" said QuickMan with his usual smirk. "How'd ya sleep?"

"Same as every other mornin', I guess," Bubble-Man said, "the bad part was waking up." Bubble-Man lazily looked at the firing range, and shot at a far-away moving target. To no one's surprise, he missed. "So how are you guys doing? Sure hope you're more awake than me..."

Heat Man shot a quick glance over to Bubble Man. "Morning," he said quietly, missing a target. "Damnit."

Heat Man stretched, then said to the two, "Wonder why we were woken up so early this morning... Think today's the day?"

The door slid open, and Wood Man appeared. He also looked fairly tired. "Good morning, brothers," he said sleepily, firing a single leaf all the way to the target in the back row. It, not suprisingly, missed as well. "What were you saying about today's the day? The day we're finally put back into commission?"

That had been a hallowed day for the 8 MM2 Robot Masters. They were waiting for Wily to put them back into commission after an embarrasing defeat from the hand- and buster- of Mega Man. They wanted to show him how much they have improved, and, judging from the early morning circumstances, it might just be possible.

Wood Man yawned and fired a few more leaves, which hit their marks. "There we go. I'm gonna get oiled up, my joints are a little creaky." He lumbered out the door way.

(...Not many puns can do that, but I actually laughed at that one.)

Bubble-Man followed the conversation loosely--it was early in the morning? Funny, he got up this tired every morning... "It doesn't feel any earlier to me," he said groggily. "...Can one of you, like, punch me or something? I don't like feeling this sleepy."
Once again, Bubble-Man fired a torpedo at the back-row target. It was closer this time, but he still failed to hit the target.

Heat Man groaned. "I have no idea. We might."

He walked out the door, trying to find another place to go. Quick Man always got on his nerves because of his sporadic personality, and Bubble Man... Don't even get me started on him... he thought.

There wasn't much wrong with Bubble Man- at least, in any sort of mean or evil way. The two always disagreed on everything. From what is the best video game to what tastes best on toast, everything must be argued with the two. Heat Man decided that perhaps the game room would probably be a pretty good place to go.

Walking in, he plugged in the Nintendo 64, and sat down to his favorite game of all time- Star Fox 64. He started to plow through Corneria after watching the cutscenes.

It would seem that some pain to wake him up was just what Bubble-Man needed. The jolt resulting sent a wave of pain, then alertness through his body. "Thanks for helping me out, Speedy!" he said with an invisible smile, then he took aim at the target a third time. Carefully holding his torpedo gun with his other hand, he looked at the target, memorized its pathway, and when it moved into the sight of his gun--
Bam.
A tiny piece of the target was shot out, right where the bullseye was. Bubble-Man may have been a heavy sleeper, but he was the best long-distance shooter of all eight of his brothers.

Bubble-Man exited the target range--he was proud of his work with his torpedo gun and there was no point in trying to hit the targets with Bubble Leads. Now there was only one thing left to wonder...where to now? Bubble-Man thought he could perhaps beat his brothers to it today--he scurried down to what could supposedly be called a cafe. Wily would frequently pull a heist for equipment, and if those went well, some items could be found in here. Bubble-Man looked around hazily for a Weapon Tank--if he could find one, it would surely keep him awake for the rest of the day. Maybe even a few days after that.

(I know Weapon Tanks don't *technically* exist yet, but I always did like their concept.)

"Well, well, well, look what little sneak we have here!" Crash Man shouted, sitting at a counter sipping a W-Tank. "Thought ya could beat us today, huh? Sorry pal- this was the last one." He took a long chug, then tossed it into the garbage pail.

When he saw Bubble Man a little sad, he then yelled- "Gotcha!", throwing a W-Tank into his hand and bursting into laughter. "Oh, that slaps me on the knee. Anyway, brother, what brings you up so early? One of your crabbots going crazy again?"

"How did you get here before me? You were asleep no more than two minutes ago, and you know you're supposed to shoot at least one target before you do anything else...you don't need those, Crash-Man; you'll be so hyped up on adrenaline in a couple minutes, you'll be able to stand a chance against Quick-Man."
With some difficulty, Bubble-Man cracked open the W-Tank. He took off his scuba mask temporarily, and started drinking the Tank casually, pausing to talk to Crash-Man. "And why does everyone keep saying it's so early in the morning? I feel as tired as I do every day...no, I'm up this early because it's when my alarm went off. And you?"

"I need something to drink..." QuickMan said as he rushed to the "cafe". He saw CrashMan already awake, chatting with BubbleMan. "Yo, Crash mornin'." said QuickMan.

"Morning, Quick. And check out the clock, Bubble! It's only 7:30! We are allowed to sleep in till 10!"

Crash Man crossed his arms behind his head and smirked. "It's time we show that blue monkey who's boss..." he said proudly.

Wood Man walked in, looking a lot better. He grabbed an E-Tank from a fridge, and drank some of it. "I sure do hope we'll be put back... It'll be better than sitting around all day."

"...Well, would you look at that. I guess it is rather early..." Bubble-Man yawned, much to his own irritation, and he quickly finished his Weapon Tank.
"And I dunno about you, but I'm not exactly looking forward to seeing Mega Man again. He beat me pretty bad last time, and I can't understand why...I used my whole arsenal and tried to strategize, but he ran me into the ground. I nearly punctured myself on my own spikes, for Pete's sake..."

Without much else to say, Bubble-Man decided he could idle until there was a message for him. He put his scuba mask back on, and quietly walked down to where most of his time was spent these days--the arcade room.

Heat Man was already on Macbeth when he noticed Quick Man there. "Hey, Quick. Help yourself to any of the games- except mine. I've got dibs on the N64 right now." He hit the switch, and there went another 50+ points to his score. That tagged another medal on Expert Mode- only one more to go, and on the hardest stage, Area 6.

Heat Man took a deep breath, then went to the Area, deftly dodging ships, lasers, and taking down everything in sight.

"Ok, i'll take.....NES." QuickMan said he grabbed a cartridge labeled "MegaMan". I'm gonna play MegaMan just so I can prove how LAME Dr.Light's robots are....hehe." QuicMan said as he started playing BombMan's stage.

(The Most Interesting RP in the World lets you use your FCs--as long as they're from the Mega Man or Sonic universe. I'm using all of the Dr. Coda Robots I imagined and my Sonic FC, Shorde.)

Bubble-Man entered the arcade room. Heat-Man was playing StarFox--typical. That game was so lame; couldn't he play Mario 64 or Kirby 64 instead? At least those would've been fun to watch. Quick-Man had taken the NES already... "Of, course, Quick-Man, prove how dorky Light's robots are by defeating them with...one of Light's Robots. The same one that beat us, mind you. I still can't believe they managed to make a game out of that scarring experience."

Without much of a choice, Bubble-Man went over to the SNES and popped in his favorite game, Super Mario RPG. He skipped the title screen, went to the file select screen, and--"Dammit, Air-Man deleted my file! I was almost at the first boss, too!" This may not sound like much of an accomplishment, but Bubble-Man had never made it that far before someone or another deleted his file. So Bubble-Man sat there for a while, pondering if he should continue his save-deleting war with Air-Man.
