Blastoise checked the time after a while. "It's been ten. Let's go, he probably forgot-"

"Wait! There's Sparky right there!" Poliwrath pointed to a small yellow blur dashing through the street. "What the- unbelievable! Where'd he come from?!"

"Seems like the ports, Bla-" the huge tortoise muscled his way past his teammate and stomped off torward the road. "Blastoise! Come back!"

"Oh, no I won't! I haven't seen the guy in months, he promises he'll head out with us, and suddenly he goofs around at the port!? We're heading out now. No need to waste more time with him!" The other two looked warily at each other, then followed their captain to the Solitude Cavern.
---
The docks had soon come to life after a lull period. Water and Fighting Pokemon were the most abundant on the port, but one Pokemon looked notably out of place.

A Mr. Mime, confused and clearly lost, was bumping into any Pokemon that happened to cross his path. He was constantly mumbling 'Sorry' and 'Excuse me', looking disoriented and somewhat dazed. "Where... where... where is this thing that I, am, supposed, to find? Such a scatterbrain... Uh... Oh, here it is!"

The Mr. Mime shuffled up to the Wailmer in the ferry buisness, quietly deposited a few Poke onto the counter, and pointed to his destination, which brought mild amusement to the Wailmer. "Another, eh? You might be able to tag along with those folks- they're headed the same way." The Psychic type quietly nodded, then shuffled over to the Wailord that was chartered, trying to figure out a way to climb on board.

Time's up.

"Well... I suppose it could wait." Espeon said. "It's a bounty, and we got it rather recently. I'm sure we could do it after we get this one done."
"That seems reasonable." Umbreon said.

Sparky raced through the town to the Keckleon shop. He went by, still able to see most things clearly--the Kanghaskan storage, the Cofagrigus bank, the angered leader of Team Flashflood...Sparky slowly came to a stop, slowly remembering their conversation yesterday. Oh, Darkrai dreams...we agreed to at least meet them this morning! Sparky thought rapidly--he had to do something, otherwise they might not meet on such friendly terms next time...but he also didn't want to make his leader upset by leaving. Eventually, he made a decision.
Lyte will forgive me. he thought to himself. Tossing the pouch of money off into the bushes, he Agilitied up and sprinted after Blastoise. "Wait! I'm coming with you!" It took him a moment to catch up with the group and another to catch his breath afterward, but eventually, he got ready to speak and used his hand to silence them: "I'm sorry we weren't there; we got caught up in our own plans. Whisp thinks she's finally pinned the location of Lighthouse Tower, and we were going to go there to protect you-know-who. But...I'm coming with you guys, and I'm not taking no for an answer." He put his hand down, allowing them to respond.
---
"The port doesn't normally get this busy," Whisp mused to herself. She waited patiently off to the side of the room, until a wayward Pokemon caught her eye, partially because he was different from the crowd. The Mr. Mime seemed fairly disoriented, and very suspicious. She couldn't read his intents by looking at him, but when he signed up to get on the same Wailord as the Team, she grew very suspicious. She glowered at him as he walked to the Wailord, giving him an "I've-got-my-eye-on-you" look that she was unsure if he caught or not.

Lyte waited for a good ten minutes, impatiently tapping his clawed foot against the ground. Eventually, he gave up. "Whisp, go get the supplies yourself--make a withdrawal if you must--and let's go." Whisp, shocked at the notion of leaving a teammate behind, looked up at him. "Are you sure about this? We can't just leave him back here--" "I've gotten over my type disadvantage of Water, Whisp. I'm not saying we don't need him, but we can't wait around forever--this place is a business. Besides, Sparky wouldn't just be leaving forever...we're too close. We'll see him again." When Whisp still didn't respond, he added, "I promise."
She still didn't like it, but Whisp would obey Lyte. She quietly and diligently went into town, and happened upon the Team's money pouch in the bushes--she was glad she found it, but she worried about what had happened to Sparky. With a heavy heart, she bought the items and quickly met with Lyte again, keeping how she found the money pouch a secret. After the two clambered on top of the Wailord, Lyte said with a nod, "We're ready to leave!"

Blastoise frowned a lopsided frown. "... So you found that, then..." he muttered quietly. "Well, if you were set on going there, it would've been courteous to tell us, but hey, priorities I guess. All right, then, let's head out." Poliwrath and Tentacruel both let out a sigh of relief, and the team continued on in relative silence.

Once they were out of the city's borders and out in open countryside, they began planning. "Alright, you three. If Regigigas won't talk with us, we'll be in for a tough battle. Poliwrath, since you have Fighting-Type moves with you, you'll have to get in hard and fast strikes. Tentacruel or Sparky, attempt to either Paralyze or Poison him. It'll slow him down considerably. Attack him with special moves after a bit, once his defense picks up again- he's got mediocre indirect defense. Also, if we happen to run into... well, him," Blastoise said with a shrug, "he's probably got good indirect defense- hit him with strong physical attacks that aren't Fighting type."
---
The Mr. Mime frowned at Whisp when he got on the giant whale Pokemon. When they left, the mime sat mainly at the back of the Wailord, constantly checking a paper inside a messenger tube he carried with him. Then he felt his head, apparently looked like he forgot someting, then plopped a small, almost can- shaped hat on his head, bearing the logo of the RPPO- Royal Pokemon Post Office. After checking the message again, he sat silently, twiddling his thumbs as the Wailord continued through the sea.

Espeon and Umbreon were more to the side of the Wailord, looking out to the sea and discussing private matters, related to the Moonlit Forest. The last time they were there, they were nearly taken out by an insane Scyther. Although he would probably be gone by now.

Whisp did not relax when the Mr. Mime equipped his official logo. It could still be just a trick to get her off-guard...in addition, she pondered what anyone from the RPPO would be doing out here in the first place. Victini doesn't exactly have a mail address...who would be receiving mail all the way out here?
Still, she sat calmly, a fair distance away from the mailman on the Wailord. She didn't trust him, so she would avoid talking to him, and that was the bottom line.
---
Sparky didn't like the idea of having to fight the creature to begin with, but on top of that, fighting Regigigas would just be annoying. Silently reviewing his moves in his head, he quickly formed a plan of action--he'd have to dash circles around his opponent, striking with a ThunderBolt for Regigigas and Quick Attack for Deoxys.
He walked along in silence, not wanting to say anything to upset Team Flashflood's leader. Blastoise, quite like Lyte, had developed a bit of an anger issue.

(Well, I blame myself on this thread's neglect. I'll pick it back up right now.)

The Mr. Mime had been sitting quietly on the back of the Wailord, readjusting his cap and reading over the note given to him. Every so often he'd peer at his two 'companions', but Whisp got more looks than Lyte did. After noting the silence, he broke it rather abruptly- "If you choose to keep staring at me like that, I might just have to swim to my destination." He cracked a small smile, but noticing his joke didn't work, he tried a different approach. "So I assume you're headed off to see Victini as well?"
---
Blastoise had silently been stretching out his arms and limbering up throughout the journey, eventually getting calmer and more confident. Pretty soon he was back on light conversation with the group, including Sparky. "So you finally found Lighthouse Tower, eh?" he asked. "'Bout time, if you ask me- Lyte always used to talk about finding him. He never did tell me why... Why is finding Victini so important to you three?"

"What would it be to you?" Whisp snapped suddenly, as if that response had been loaded since the very moment the Mr. Mime stepped on the Wailord. "As a matter of fact I'm more curious about you. Last time I checked, Legendary Pokemon don't get much mail. What would be bringing you all the way out there?"
---
"Well...hm." Sparky put a hand to his chin, trying to find the words to describe the situation. "Well, Lyte has always felt like he was destined for greatness. Ever since his youngest ages, he's wanted to help others, and he looks at those who has and...he wants to be like them. Somehow, he feels that the power and mystery revolving around Victini might make him become important soon...especially in these dark times. Or perhaps he thinks befriending such a creature will bring him great ability in his ever-famous objective." With a smile, he added, "and I think that's pretty cool."
His spirits slightly raised by the good recount, he skipped along merrily behind the group.
