Types of Threads: 1) Solo Threads: A. Self Training B. Mission C. Job D. Quest E. Shopping 2) 2 person threads: A) Duel B) Death match C) Small mission 3) More than 2 persons: A) Brawl B) Epic C) Arc D) Group mission Explanation: 1) Self training can be whatever you want. Any general thread where you do not get either money or item in return. Examples can be you in a firing range to learn how to aim better, or you can go and save a small town from bandits with no reward. 2) Mission- This goes for all mission types. They have to be approved by the Leader of your Cooperation and the mods before you or your group embarks on one. Your reward will be split evenly between all participants, with a certain percent going to the Cooperation. 3) Jobs- Same as missions except that you get 100% more money and no stat points upon completion. 4) Quest: When an item is approved by the mods you have the option to quest for them instead of buy them from a merchant. The way you do this is that you write down your quest through one or more threads as missions except that you do not get the item until the amount due is 0. Once you get enough money for the item then you get it along with any change you are due. Quests do not need to be done through a Cooperation. 5) Duel: Two characters fight for one reason or another no one dies. 6) Death Match: Two characters enter, one leaves. 7) Arc: Board wide event, something major to the board story line. Always hosted by staff. Characters can die in these unless stated otherwise. These are also known as Sagas 8) Epic: Similar to Arc except not board wide and can be hosted by anyone. The host may choose to kill characters or not. 9) Shopping. As the name implies this is where your character goes to a merchant to buy stuff. This can be a simple in and out or you can make a story line to it. These are graded so the more you write the more points you get. Edited by Sarge, Aug 17 2011, 03:17 AM.
