I don't know about any of you, but I found the recent rp going rather too fast paced. That being said, I don't think it was done in anyway wrong. It's just the rapidity of it resulted in an overwhelming number of things happening all at the same time. Looking over it, I realize now that the issue may rest with the fact that the UVR is perhaps the most capable non playable nation we've ever had, and is for sure the largest. It's not Armenia, or Yisrael, where they are limited by their smaller capacity. This would be fine, except that when dealing with the UVR, because it has no real player, players end up playing both roles simultaneously. Firstly, what was roleplayed was fine. It's just, because the nation that was being attacked was roleplayed by the attacking player, the events transpired very, very rapidly. I'd like for there to be an agreement from now on, for the sake of roleplaying rate, that when dealing with the UVR, the least involved player in the roleplay be the role of the UVR, and from now on, we consider the UVR a real "player" nation. Meaning when attacking the UVR, you cannot announce the results of your attack for the UVR. This is not in the interest of balance. Quillion, Saxoiy, etc, from what I can tell, did it reasonably and realistically. But it's my hope that by introducing this, we slow down how fast the roleplay implements itself. |

Same. It's probably the reason why it stagnated as an RP for a bit. |

I agree with this too, it's only fair I suppose. |

It's not really about fairness or balance. This one is just so players who show up 24 hours after just checking up on the forums don't end up finding themselves with too much reading to catch up to |

I will also make it fair though as some inexperienced members may decide that there small force can defeat a larger force and then beat them back 50 miles in a day or something... we all did it when we first started
