Mr Maverick would write a letter to the Chinese.

Quote:

Dear Mr J Stiles,

I am very pleased that you helped the Russian people out in the Mongolia & Kazakhstan issues and we shall be in your debt but this letter is the barer of bad news. I am here by formally cancelling our alliance with each other.

This is due to the fact I plan to join the United Nations and I am not allowed personal alliances with other countries. However this does not stop the Russians & Chinese from being friends and we maybe allied with each other one day in the future.

Me and my Government would like to apologise for this act but we see that joining the United Nations would help Russian get back on it's feet after the war.

Thank you for understand our difficult position and I hope our two peoples can still be friends.

Signed,
Mr J. Maverick,
Russian President.

Mr. Stiles would sit in his office in Beijing, reading through the letter from the Russian President, when finished, he would let out a slight sigh, and then continue to write a reply.

Quote:

To Mr. J Maverick,
President of Russia.

I fully understand the position that your country is in, and the decision you have made to resolve this issue.
I too hope that our countries my remain strong friends, and I would like to take this opportunity to ask you to sign a formal Peace Treaty with our nation, to replace our previous alliance.
Please send your reply post-hast,

Signed,
Mr. J Stiles,
General Secretary,

Mr Maverick would read this letter and call a board meeting to discuss the matter with the Government.

As the Government meeting would last 2 hours and still get no further to either accepting or Declining the Peace Treaty, as President Maverick would stand up and propose that the members of Government take the night to sleep on it and they will be called for 9am tomorrow morning to discuss the matter further.

Meanwhile the President doesn't write a reply to the Chinese until he knows that his Government is 100% behind him.

Mr Maverick would be sitting at the head of the table and across it would be the other Government party members, after 5 hours of talking they come to the conclusion to decline the peace treaty, Mr Maverick walks into his office and writes up a letter.

Quote:

Dear Mr J Stiles,

We have decided to reject your peace treaty as now we are part of the United Nations, you have to get a peace treaty with all the countries in the United Nations, not just one and we don't want to break the United Nation rules. We hope if you don't decided to get a peace treaty with all of the United Nations, we can still be friends now and in the future and the Russians see the Chinese as their valuable allie.

Thanks,
Mr J Maverick,
Russian President.

The Chinese President would take a seat at his desk, having just finished reading the letter from the Russians.
This is a great blow to China as a nation. Mr. Stiles lets out a slight sigh of disappointment before writing out a reply.

To Mr. J Maverick,
President of Russia.

I am greatly disappointed to see your reply, but I fully understand your situation. I hope that our countries may remain good friends in the future, and although no official agreements can be made, I would like to say that "off the record" so to speak, I promise to keep the peace between our countries.

Thank you for your honesty on the matter,
Signed,
Mr. J Stiles,
President,
People's Republic of China.
