I know that the won-loss record is not all that impressive, but how is the women's program progressing? As someone who can only watch on the internet, they look like they are improving. But, will be losing a big part of the team after this season. Are they moving in the right direction?

The womens team seems to only be able to play truly good for about ten minutes in any game. It is sad to see a team that used to be a dynasty in the NEC drop so low. The coach Whitten has been there long enough to have some kind of improvement, but it has only been regression. It is past time to send Whitten packing and hire a new coach as well.

That truly is sad. You are right, it was once THE team in the GNAC. Is there any hope sitting on the bench? How has the recruiting been? Every interview I watch on the web-site, the coach talks about "how young" the team is. Does that mean it will get better or has the recruiting effort been non-effective? It seems that the producing players are still the ones left over from the previous coaching staff's efforts - (Dunn and Westbrooks). And, what happened to Lauren Howell, I remember that she set an NCAA shooting record. Shouldn't she be a senior? It seems that many of the recruits have either left or are sitting on the bench.

It seems there are a few good fresh-women. Like Ashley Christie. I dont know about Howell, but Whitten kicked perhaps the best talent on the team off- Cassie Cooke. Not only was she going to be a great player, but she is pretty hot too!
