- Seven lines to KO.
- Ten lines to Kill.
- Old style rules, not Star Wars.
This means that this, for example, is the valid way to roleplay an attack: * John tosses the fireball at Jim. * [1] * The fireball hits Jim in the chest. * (At this point, he has been validly hit, and no dodge will remove the fire; line count starts on connection.) [2] * The fire burns through Jim's shirt. * [3] * The fire burns through his skin. * [4] * The fire burns through his flesh. * [5] * The fire burns through his muscle. * [6] * The fire burns through his bones. * [7] * The fire burns through his organs. * [8] * The fire effectively shuts down his body. * [9] * Jim can no longer function or survive, body a crisp. * [10] * Jim falls down to his knees, no longer alive. * * Dead. *
A proper defense for such an attack would be as such: [1] * The fireball hits Jim in the chest. * (1) - Jim pats out the flame. - (2) - Jim extinguishes the fire. - [2] * The fire burns through Jim's shirt. * Line [2] is now void, Jim has been properly defended and the fire has been extinguished. |
