This is my graph for 5NLH, the stake I'm currently playing at. As you can see, it hasn't been going too well :$ but this includes a bad run at euro 5NL...

My graph for $ 5NLH looks a lot more positive ^o)

What conscious gameplay choices do you make to get your redline positive?

Its probably not at all what you expect but... after I busted on tilt I decided I wanted to get really serious about the game and I re-deposited on stars for bonus, etc. I had a very critical look at my game and re-engineered my entire play.

My first major decision was table selection. I want only nits or weak tight players to sit on my direct left (so that's after me) and my targets to my right (thats before me). This means that I have position on players who are "unpredictable" and am out of position against players who are "predictable".

My second major decision was to not defend the blinds and to not play the blinds as often as I used to. This also applies to UTG and EP.

My third big change was to fold when I get check-raised on the flop and fold more in general when facing resistance.

My fourth game change was to cbet relentlessly in every single spot that could be cbet and min value betting.

My fifth game change was to bluff better :D

With those changes I noticed that only after a few thousand hands, my redline was going up steadily and my win-rate was pretty solid :)

Another terrible session yesterday, that's 4 days in a row now of not hitting anything and getting bad beats constantly...
