I dno, last night I started so well... then two hands against fish e.g. my AA vs QJ, all-in on turn on xxxQ board, he hits J on river. Then maybe I tilted a bit but called a river shove with two pair Aces and Jacks, villain shows trip tens. Gonna try the tight tables tonight, see if I can make some money stealing and playing more agressive pre-flop. |

Hey dont have much time as I am still at my gf in Hamburg. Just wanted to say I feel with you - these things can really get you poker-wise.... You seem to really have an educated poker mind but having you mind on your losses can really distract anyone from his A-game. I would suggest you get some distance (a few days off or so) and stay away from the tables for a short while (maybe comment some hands, sweat others, watch videos...) and look at your hands again when you feel you have gained enough distance. When you feel like it post some hands here, I think you have safe environment here ;). |

![]() As you can see my game pretty much lies in ruins atm whereas my red line is upward sloping up to 23k hands, its now slightly downward sloping after a series of bad beats. Luckily, I'm going on holiday tomorrow for 10 days which will give me some time to objectively think about my game and weaknesses. On a side note, I'm happy to announce that I made it to the silver star level on Pokerstars yesterday!

Have I understood correctly that you are trying to play more agressive LAG style? It's great that you have the courage to try playing that style but are you sure it works at 5nl-10nl in the long run? I belive at 25nl it is probably the most profitable style if played well but there are so many terrible players at the micros so playing just very tight could be the best way. My vpip is around 21% and I hve been thinking that I should try to play even tighter and be very selective about the spots where to play weaker hands. Just a thought

Propher have you checked the road to rubusto NL videos of Tubasteve... I think he plays a very LAG style there and he does that at 10nl boards ;-) |

Okay so during the holiday I've been thinking a lot about my game and watched tons of videos including Whitelime's which was a real eye opener. I managed to improve a lot in thinking positionally and focus my aggression. Furthermore I've been hand reading a lot better, folding tons correctly and I'm currently working on 3betting and squeezing more. Today, I feel I've reached a new level in my game and I think that this progress also shows in my latest graph update (back in the black, hooray!)

Which Whitelime's series do you mean? Most of them seems to be for mid and high stakes players. |
