Here are all of my hands!![]() Here's 5NL 6-max. ![]() And here's my 10NL graph. (I took away my failed shots). This graph is since october 1st. As you can see it has been a rollercoaster and I'm running pretty bad: like 13BI below the EV line. ![]() Edited by PropheR, Dec 6 2010, 12:19 AM.

You uploaded your image with ImageShack? If so, you have to copy the direct link to the box which opens. Dont know if I explained this clearly enough I would guess you have just copied the wrong link?Edit: Actually you can just copy the Forum Code and paste it. Edited by jam, Dec 5 2010, 10:59 PM.

when you go to http://img571.imageshack.us/i/10nl.jpg/ on the right hand side is the forum "code" that you can copy paste and then it seems to work. Photobucket is a lot easier though

Your red line looks much like mine (maybe i can post it tomorrow, gotta go to sleep now), I think we really should start to work on getting it better. Any ideas what is causing it to be so negative? Too many flop calls and folding on the turn perhaps? Have any of you watched the thin red line series at DC? I watched the first episode some time ago and it seemed very good. But now I am watching The Haj School and after that I think I try to struggle through the mathematics of nl holdem by WiltOnTilt before watching more theory/live play videos. |

The red line is something I need to work on too. I have a theory (haven't gone through db yet) that my negative red-line is a lot to do with open raising any pocket pair from any position and calling a raise with any pocket pair pre-flop. In the blinds I'll be less inclinded to call with low pp if raise was late position. This would affect my red-line because for a large percentage I'd be folding to any action when I don't hit trips. On the upside though, I think my showdown winnings increases because I'm more likely to be playing trips than someone who doesn't play as many pocket pairs. Looking at my pp stats a couple of days ago all my pp hands were bb+. The only one which wasn't was JJ which was a big loser, I hate that hand! ![]() Anyway, maybe we can get a thread going on the red-line. |

The red-line isn't a leak necessarily. As long as you're winninh more at showdown than losing without showdown you should be fine. I'd still like to improve it a bit, at least make the red-line breakeven. The thing is that I'm worried that if I'm gonna try to improve my red-line it will affect my game strategy thus making my winrate go down.. |

I agree that you have to be very careful when considering "fixing" your redline. The first thing I would suggest is to look at positional profit/loss statistics. If your SB and BB is significantly in the red then generally start folding everything but really premium hands in the blinds. This should show an immediate result in your redline over a few sessions

Yeah I agree! A month back I was like "man, I'm gonna play the same range at the blinds as I play at the UTG". Well, I never really did that. So maybe I could make a goal for this month to make my blind play more profitable by starting playing a really tight range at the blinds. Maybe I should 3-bet less at the blinds also and only 3-bet light at the BTN. Let's see how it goes.
