Did you look into what happened with your game after the point of 3,237 hands? It looks like you went into "passive" because of a bad swing? |

Hey Propher, Well actually i went to extra loose, i started playing too loose preflop on several positions and lost some amount of money postflop by calling those hands because i thought i had best hand (mostly one pair). That loss was actually one session that day

Normally not but on bet365 where i play there arent to many tables available... But i plan to play on FTP in the future... Well i now try to figure out which starting hands are best to play with from every position... I see that mostly it becomes TAG to NIT... But sometimes that image helps me to play some air on the btn or in the blinds

When you go to FTP don't forget to setup a rakeback acount with rakebackpros or whatever they are called. I didn't know about it in the beginning which was a huge pain afterwards to get one. Table selection is very important and adds a few extra BBs to your win-rate easily ![]() Regarding "starting hands" per position, I personally like to look at which hands I won't play under certain "conditions". This makes you think a lot more about the possibilities of each hand post flop and in which position, against who, etc, etc. For example, at one table I may want to open 78s from the cutoff against someone passive on the button, SB and BB, but on another table I wouldn't open 78s because it doesn't play well against that aggressive fella that always calls in the BB with a wide range. So I have somewhat of a dynamic range

Yes, about FTP. I already had an account on FTP with money on it but i went to Rakebackpros and putted the info there and it seemed to be ok at least i got the congratiolations mail from them. I didn't see any rake get returned while i did play some hands there already... Dunno exactly how much time it takes to see the rake you get back. Best tables i got on were like 45% preflop... The higger preflop tables had like a lot people waiting... I hope FT has more posibilities on that... Would be cool to talk about those hands a litle bit more because i normally just stick with the standard hands part but i guess you just can raise with a little wider range from the CO or BTN... |

Did you consider joining pokerstars? I really enjoy playing there ![]() If you want to open a thread to talk about hand ranges with your questions etc? Perhaps in the strategies section?

Might be interesting to see everyone's default open hand ranges and see how we all compare. Will start a new thread when I get home if no one else has done beforehand. |
