1895:
Texas declares its indapendence from the CSA. However Texas retains close economic links with the Confederate States of America.

1898:
The css Florida explodes under mysterious circumstances in Havana, Cuba and the political aftermath of this event starts the short confederate - spanish war which ends in victory for the Confederate states of America in the Americas. In the Pacific a international flotilla prevented the United States and California from preying on the Spanish Philippines, and despite a brief occupation of the Philippines during the great war by the Germans the Philippines remains to this day the most prosperous Spanish colony left after Cuba was given to the confederacy during the series of peace negotiations in London.

1908:
The Great Slave Revolt occures in the Confederate States of America. Nearly 30,000 black slaves launch a rebellion against Confederate rule, and attempt to win their freedom. However they are put down by a combination of the police and military, and the Confederate government condems the Union for allegedly supporting the rebellion.
