Yeah, I saw it last night. First off, I just want to say I have never felt so old as I did in that movie theater. It was the first(and hopefully last) time I've been in such a small space with an average age group of 13 year old fangirls(and that creepy guy who sat behind my roomy and me *shutters*). I should've watched the parents' reactions to some of the parts, wonder if they themselves actually read the books...

Anyway, the movie itself was actually what I expected of it. I won't ruin it for anyone else so I won't go into the specifics. The one character that actually did make the movie enjoyable for me was definitely Charlie. I think it was because he had the best one-liners and I love wisecracks like that. The whole thing was rushed, as expected of any movie based off a book, but to the point it was almost "Eragon" like(you don't find a moment where you actually feel like you understand the plot and something went straight over your head). I wouldn't have had a clue if I hadn't read the first two books already.

By the way, the "glitter effect" did not surprise me at all. Even though I wasn't expecting much, it kind of disappointed me.

My advice to those who haven't watched it but plan to, pay attention to what's happening in the background of some of the scenes. xP

I was only like 4 chapters into the book when I saw it but I LOVED it. I think it stayed as true to the book as a novel-to-movie can be. And even after seeing the movie I was still anxious (more so actually) to read on with the book.

At first I didn't much care for the choice of Kristen Stewart as Bella, she just seemed too mature in both appearence and attitude. But again, I was only 4 chapters in and after I finished not just Twilight but all the books I think she did well.

I think what really made it enjoyable for me was that it gave me a mental image to match with the events of the book while reading it (I'm not too good at drawing pictures in my head, I just see words).

Things like the CGI were kinda subpar, I will say that, but I don't really pay attention to things like that. I think the movie was very well done and can't wait for the next.

DVD comes out in 9 days! I can't wait!! >.<

*will be sleeping when it comes out and hiding a few days after*
Facebook is going to get flooded with Twilight Flair again...

I am interested in how they plan on carrying out the next movie. Taylor's a bit short for Jacob(IMO) and the wolves are supposed to be massive.

Meh, Elijah Wood was too short to be a hobbit but he pulled it off for 3 movies <.< S'all in the filming editing.
